Stayed as a family of 4. Many rooms have a door to outside which is nice. We upgraded to get the slightly bigger room with a couch and two queens, room had lots of space. Pool is great with a hot tub and waterslide and views of surrounding hills. Breakfast quality was excellent. Gym is tiny with minimal equipment but was good enough to get a light workout in. Overall had a good stay and would stay there again

The hot tub being closed was the biggest disappointment. We went out are way to get swim wear, to come back to find out that the hot tub was not working, and that was the only reason why I booked the hotel cause it had a hot tub.

Travelling with kids and a dog. Room was on the main floor with an exterior door so I could park right in front of our room. Breakfast had lots of choices. Only thing missing was hot chocolate, but the coffee was good and lots of tea options and fruit juices. The kids complained that the pool water was really cold and that wouldn’t have been as big of an issue if they could have warmed up in the hot tub, but the hot tub wasn’t working properly and the water was not very warm either.

The staff were great. The property was rough. Especially for the price. Our room was in poor quality. It was dirty. We could hear everything coming from the hallway and outside. Limited receptacles for charging. Horrible toiletries. Pool was broken and unusable. Breakfast was below average. Staff could not keep up with how busy it was a breakfast.

While the staff are incredibly friendly and caring, this hotel is really a motel that needs a deep clean and repair to its humidifier. It is damp and musty everywhere. The pool is dirty. You feel the sediment under your feet. The water is cloudy. Carpets hold humidity and odor. The room, aside from a newer couch and bar stools, felt old and dirty. It was absolutely overpriced for the quality. We were so uncomfortable that we left after one night of a two night stay. It was obviously a popular place for families as it was packed with many. It just was definitely not what we were expecting. However, there isn’t much to choose from in Drumheller for accommodations.

Room was not cleaned when we checked in and little was done to fix it. Not vacuumed, no toiletries (no soap even), toothpaste on the mirror, dirty towels, bathroom door handle was broken and door was wedged so tight, hard to open and close, was also super loud. Main door didn’t close automatically (safety issue?), only scraps left at breakfast each day, 8 am and 9 am (breakfast ran from 7-10), pool water extremely murky and the floor was dirty. Was extremely dissatisfied for a room that cost $230 a night.

Location was good. But the overall property could use some updating and needs some maintenance improvements. Our room as very musty smelling when we arrived. We were able to open the window to air it out as the air conditioning unit was the main cause of the smell. The carpets throughout the room and hotel could use a replacement, as they too had a musty smell to them.

The bed and the pillows were pretty bad. Woke up quite sore and unrested. Carpet had large stains. Bathroom had lots of cracking in the ceiling with mold/staining present. Definitely taking advantage of location and tourism. Not worth the $260 plus fees and taxes. But these are the options when staying in Drumheller.

We liked the location - fast food and groceries within a minute walk, and downtown Drumheller about 10 minute walk. The hotel itself was clean and pool was nice size for the kids. Breakfast was standard with hot options (eggs, bacon, hash browns) and the usual cereals, toast and pancakes. We didn't interact with staff much, but pleasant enough. Only complaint was room size for the price we paid. Was very disappointed that for a double queen we had no room to put luggage anywhere. We were constantly tripping over our things (one suitcase for the adults and 2 small ones for each kid). Two people couldn't pass by each other when walking around. I really feel like we were price gouged. Throughout the rest of our road trip we stayed at hotels within the same company and my kids could do cartwheels in the rooms (also double queen, half the price ... and on a long weekend). Also disappointed that since we booked through Expedia the front desk couldn't change anything for us when I asked. I won't book through Expedia again - I thought it would give me the best deal but front staff said otherwise had I booked through them. In saying that, the price gouge may have been because of third party booking?

I arrive in Drumheller the morning of the funeral I was there to attend. Unfortunately we arrived too soon for an early check in and had nowhere to shower and get ready. An employee overheard us discussing our options and arranged for us to have room for 30 minutes to get ready. Real above and beyond service and we were so appreciative.

It was ok. Room wasnt ready at 4pm for our check-in. Only the bare minimum coffee cups offered (2 go cups for 2 people, 2 nights...) and the staff seemed confused about our keys (we returned after a day out on our second night and mentioned that our keys weren't letting us into the side door - we knew it was because our keys were no longer active, but we were told something about a deadbolt - had to go to our room, try both keys, and then return to the desk to get them reactivated.) It was clean. Lots of parking. Nice and close to food, gas, and alcohol. Not too far of a walk from downtown. Did not try the pool or gym, but they seemed popular at a glance. "Salon Selectives" body products in the bathrooms, not great for people with skin sensitivities, but it was there. Good for what we expected for a last-minute trip to Drumheller on a long weekend.

Overall our stay was just OK. We likely won't be back until things improve. The check-in was terrible, massive line up and once we finally did get our room cards, the cleaning people were still in there almost an hour after our check in time of 4pm. More staff is definitely needed in my opinion, only one person at the desk trying his best.The breakfast area was a major hazard for getting around, the tables were WAY too close to were people line up for food, my son almost tripped over a baby carrier at someone's table. Staff at breakfast were trying their best in that chaotic situation, they were kind. Please give more space for people to line up for food.. it's unsafe and someone is going to trip on someone. Our room was spacious and clean once we got settled. Pool was fun and clean.

Our stay here was easy and convenient but not walkable to any sights, you must drive. Breakfast was good with nice home fry potatoes and standard food for hotels. The hotel is on the line to being a motel. It was clean enough and staff were friendly but it is dated in decor and could use either a modern update or work on enhancing the vintage feel! It had a old home smell to it. It suited us for a one night stay on our travels! Drumheller is not a pretty town, you are there for the dinosaurs and the interesting and varied landscape which is 100% worth having a car and spending time here. Kids would love the pool and waterslides, walkable to Mcdonalds and other small plazas. Great for families. It is located at the start of the town.

Everything was great. Pool sooo busy with kids and was so hot in there and loud! Too bad windows couldn’t be opened. Too much chlorine. Breakfast was great but also too busy the poor staff couldn’t keep up so had to wait quite a bit for hot food. Barb was outstanding and super patient.

The breakfast was a bit basic. The pancake machines didn’t always work. It was very crowded. The beds were good. The pool was so busy and didn’t look the cleanest. The slide was wonderful but a little dangerous where it shoots out into the pool itself. There was a smell in the building of old stale and the cleanliness of the door area was kind of gross. The luggage carts were pretty rickety. We made the best of our stay and enjoyed ourselves but always room for improvement. Also my kids couldn’t reach the toilet paper in the bathroom.

We requested housekeeping to clean our room between 8am and 12pm-they did not, and never came to empty garbages or replace towels. The continental breakfast was out of food by 745am. There was no bottled water in rooms. Despite requests we were not given coffee or creamer after the first night.

Our 3-bedroom Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was also clean, and all of the staff was very accommodating. The gentleman running the breakfast buffet was amazing! He ran the buffet very well and with a smile on his face. Being a very busy long weekend, I was impressed with how well he handled it. The buffet room is incredibly hard to navigate with many people leaving very narrow walkways.

We had a nice big room on the third floor that was quite quiet. Older facility. Only major complaint was the breakfast. Always super busy and while the 2 staff members were working hard, they needed more staff. One item would come at a time and would get devoured and then people would wait around for the next thing which didn’t help the congestion in the small area.
