The hotel is sweet and cute. Nicely set up and accomadating. Our bus came into town early and though thwy couodnt get us into our room at that moment they did work to get us on an hour before the normal check in time. The room was veryclean and comfortable. The beds and pillows give a great nights sleep. The bathroom is modern with a toilet seat AND a hot shower...clean and sanitary.. even a hair dryer. A little restaurant attached to the hotel provides and breakfast and coffee from 7 to 11 am. A very nice, comfortable place to stay. Oh and this great little sitting area outside of your room to enjoy your coffee, a glass of wine and to read a book. Highly recommend Hotel del Carmen.

No me quedé en el hotel porque el estacionamiento que anuncian esta fuera de las instalaciones, hay que caminar 5 minutos e ir cargando el equipaje por una zona de mucho transito vehicular yo iba sola con niños y decidi irme a un hotel con estacionamiento en sus instalaciones por cuestion de seguridad

Lo que me gustó: Es muy bonito, agradable, de buen gusto, la comida estuvo rica, el trato muy amable, cómodo, elegante. El desayuno es buffete y está disponible desde temprano. Lo que no me gustó: El estacionamiento está a dos cuadras, pero se puede estacionar en la calle afuera. No hay ascensores ni rampas para discapacitados o personas en sillas de ruedas.

Lo que me gustó: Es muy bonito, agradable, de buen gusto, la comida estuvo rica, el trato muy amable, cómodo, elegante. El desayuno es buffete y está disponible desde temprano. Excelente hotel cerca del centro y de zonas de esparcimiento, tiene buen internet por si deseas trabajar y manejan el check in tarde por si lo necesitas , además de cuenta con el desayuno muy temprano, presión y agua caliente, excelente lugar todo lo que necesites y accesible regresaré.

A very nice stay with excellent staff, resturant attached with a free breakfast. They helped schedule our trip to the sumidero canyons. Very helpful. Nice area to walk from or taxies are always handy.

I liked the location. Walking distance to the plaza. The plaza has many restaurants, music and lots going on in the evening. Purchased our stay through “ Expedia”. NO breakfasts included. 🤔. Something to verify. Laundering right next door👍. Hotel room pretty small but was “ok”. Nice towels. Beds were fine. Small bathroom. Small TV. Nice sitting /common area in lobby.

I had a really good stay here. The room was spotless and well looked after, and the shower had great water pressure, which was a big plus. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience more pleasant. Breakfast was included – it was fairly simple, but more than enough to start the day. Overall, a comfortable stay with good value for money. I’d happily come back.

Do NOT stay here !!! Horrible experience. Staff were very rude. Did not provide breakfast (“included” with my room). Very loud- you can hear everything from your room. Lights do not turn off at night, it’s very hard to go to sleep. Rooms are small and dirty.

Encontramos un ratón en la habitación, y como premio, nos cambiaron a una habitación del último piso donde hacía más calor y en la ducha no salía el agua caliente. A la mañana siguiente se lo comunicamos y apenas unas excusas y con pocas ganas, por parte del personal de recepcion. Nos hemos sentido despreciados. No recomiendo este hotel.

El desayuno que incluye es sencillo, para un dia esta bien. Ubicación es buena, cerca del centro y parque de la marimba. La atencion del personal es muy buena. La habitación es sencilla. Zentral gelegen. Kleine recht dunkle Zimmer; Fenster gehen auf einen mit Glas überdachten Patio. Bei Licht im Zimmer müssen deshalb die Gardinen zugezogen bleiben, da jeder hereinschauen kann. Gegend ruhig. Mexikanisches Frühstück in Ordnung. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

This was our first horrible experience. They charged us twice and refused to cancel the wrong charge. They told us to send a letter I don’t know where. They did not even apologize for their mistake. We decided to not stay at this hotel. They have a total lack of customer service. I do not recommend this hotel.

Casi todo muy bien, solo que no me preguntaron si deseaba que entraran a limpiar mi habitación y al regresar por la noche, me di cuenta que si entraron a limpiar. Deseo pensar que hubo un par de cosas (entre esas un billete extranjero) se me perdieron en algún otro momento, aunque recuerdo bien donde lo había dejado en la habitación, pero ya no regresé con estos artículos a mi domicilio.

Casi todo muy bien, solo que no me preguntaron si deseaba que entraran a limpiar mi habitación y al regresar por la noche, me di cuenta que si entraron a limpiar. Deseo pensar que hubo un par de cosas (entre esas un billete extranjero) se me perdieron en algún otro momento, aunque recuerdo bien donde lo había dejado en la habitación, pero ya no regresé con estos artículos a mi domicilio.

Todo excelente, cerca de plaza de la marimba , en dónde puedes pasar la tarde muy agusto, está a pocas cuadras de la catedral por si quieren conocerla , el desayuno estubo bien hay huevito , chilaquiles , fruta , cereal. lo recomiendo mucho

El hotel está bien ubicado a 2 cuadras del parque de la marimba, donde encontrarán varios restaurantes y tiendas para artesanías así como cafés, marimba de miércoles a domingo creo empieza a las 6 pm, también hay un autobús doble (double decker) con excursión alrededor de Tuxtla que sale de este mismo parque. La habitación está sencilla pero limpia y con aire acondicionado, el staff fue muy agradable y nos ayudó mucho. El desayunó buffet es muy rico y varía todos los días aunque no tiene muchos platillos para escoger, pero es más que suficiente. También está cerca del centro de Tuxtla y otros parques para turistear si les gusta caminar, definitivamente regresaremos.

El hotel está bien ubicado a 2 cuadras del parque de la marimba, donde encontrarán varios restaurantes y tiendas para artesanías así como cafés, marimba de miércoles a domingo creo empieza a las 6 pm, también hay un autobús doble (double decker) con excursión alrededor de Tuxtla que sale de este mismo parque. La habitación está sencilla pero limpia y con aire acondicionado, el staff fue muy agradable y nos ayudó mucho. El desayunó buffet es muy rico y varía todos los días aunque no tiene muchos platillos para escoger, pero es más que suficiente. También está cerca del centro de Tuxtla y otros parques para turistear si les gusta caminar, definitivamente regresaremos.

Nos quedamos tres noches..No sé si porque hicimos la reservación por Expedia, nos dieron la habitación más básica...Ví otras habitaciones con mejores amenidades...En la publicación de Expedia, dice que es con desayuno incluído pero no es así, se nos comentó que en este tipo de servicio no se incluye...buena limpieza y amable atención del personal. En términos generales es aceptable para mi gusto...quizá vea otras opciones en una futura visita...

I had a really good stay here. The room was spotless and well looked after, and the shower had great water pressure, which was a big plus. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience more pleasant. Breakfast was included – it was fairly simple, but more than enough to start the day. Overall, a comfortable stay with good value for money. I’d happily come back.

This is my second stay at this hotel because location is very convenient but also the first time I was impressed with the service and conditions of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent customer service. The breakfast buffet is good quality with great variety.

Located couple of blocks from Parque de la Marimba. Transportation not a problem. Did not honored the breakfast that supposed to be included. Early morning house keeping dragging carts and making noise. Lack of ice machine. or vending machines to get cold drinks.

No me gusto el desayuno que ofrecen, ya que no tiene opciones y siempre dan lo mismo, huevo revuelto, frijoles y chilaquiles muy malos, de hecho el ultimo dia de nuestra estancia a mi acompañante y ami nos hizo mucho daño el desayuno, algo estaba malo, el desayuno (no lo recomiendo)

I liked the location. Walking distance to the plaza. The plaza has many restaurants, music and lots going on in the evening. Purchased our stay through “ Expedia”. NO breakfasts included. 🤔. Something to verify. Laundering right next door👍. Hotel room pretty small but was “ok”. Nice towels. Beds were fine. Small bathroom. Small TV. Nice sitting /common area in lobby.

Small room, but very clean. Other than cold water on the first day and the small room, everything worked great. Staff was amazing and catered to our very needs. They let us leave our luggage in their property even after check out so we could enjoy the day exploring.
