The lobby is very bright and looks like it’s recently received a facelift. The staff was great, check in was easy and parking is well lit, easy to access and monitored 24hrs/day. Room is slightly smaller than I expected but everything appears very clean and new. The property looks even better in person than the pictures.

This hotel had no restaurant on site, no bar/lounge and a pool that was closed long time ago and yet they charge $500 per night. Ridiculous! What hotel doesn’t at least have a restaurant?

The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are small. No pool or hot tub, you can use the rec centres across the street for free, worst bed sore neck, shoulder and hip from bed, no restaurant, safeway 5-10 minute walk, no lounge, one restaurant 5 minutes very busy suggest making reservations. Not worth $350+ per night for what the hotel has to offer.

Well kept, service was great, decor in the lobby is beautiful. They have a fully equipped gym (several squat racks, stairmaster, treadmill & pools) next door at the community centre.

Lovely newly renovated rooms with great view. Closets and drawers and desk in the king room were great. Bathroom needs more hooks and counter space. Need hooks for jackes at the door. The lack of dining option and kitchenette in the room was an issue. Would be a nice spot for a lobby bar and/or breakfast area. The property and grounds are terrible. There is not space to enjoy outside at all. Parking lot is awkward and rough with potholes. Too bad since it looks out over the beautiful lake- the hotel is right on the water.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Nowhere to breakfast there. Our room was good but our bathroom was very, very dirty.. It had dirty fingerprints all over..from bottom to top. It also had feces on the door frame.. We mentioned it to the staff and they just put their hands together, nodded their head at us and said, "I\'m very sorry"🤔.. Not the answer I was expecting.

We had a lakeside view once you saw passed the giant spiders and cobwebs on the outside of the windows the view was spectacular. The guests beside and above us were loud with a large group of teenagers parents drank while the kids made an absurd amount of noise in and out of the room till early in the morning. The manager said they understood and would switch our room and when we went for the roomkey they had no room available The top floor Restaurant is under renovation and we werent informed until we checked in.

The tv had no streaming, not a smart tv. The home button disabled. The tv that came in was all snowy and glitching. The drapes don’t go to floor so the room was bright at 6 am! The room smelled weird. The bathroom tiny. Have to have someone go check your room at checkout

hotel is nice because its new. But the room is small for a family. Hotel room rate is sooo expensive for a small room. Everything inside the room (garbage bins, sink, microwave, space inside room is sooo minimal). Not worth the price, but staff are accomodating and nice. 3 star rating for the stay and rate.

When you pay $400 average per night, you expect atleast they will mention to the guest upon arrival that restaurant and pool are under renos, but NO!!!. Also, it will make a difference if you're staff would atleast know some places or things to do around your area as mostly of people staying at your facilities are tourist. Overall, our first visit in Kenora was very pleasant.

I had booked this place as I was informed that we would be able to get pool access to the rec centre as they do not have a pool on site anymore. The front reception advise the pool was open Sunday sept 22 at 7:30 and we were given passes. We walked over to find that the pool was not available till 1:30. The works should know the schedule as it is something g you offer and the fact that check out is at 11 we can not even use the service. I would not come back based on that and no accommodation on site.

The renovations are done and they are nice. One could nit pick but why. When you go to a hotel your often looking for a safe place for you.and you family to get a good rest. Well, we had 2 people, possibly intoxicated, riding up and down the elevator and banging on someone door on the floor we were staying from midnight until 4. Around 3 is when they hammered with fists and yelled. This is when i came fully awake. At 4 i called fro t desk. No answer but they did call right back and only then looked on the cameras to spot this issue and then take action. So no safe feeling nor good rest. Great voew though and i will stay again

On hotels.com it states $300 deposit at check in (which is quite high) after expressing $300 On line front desk still requested $400. When parking an alarm on vehicle near went off. Was accused of touching it! Adamant I did not. Brought up again and I asked to go out and look together but staff declined saying maybe I touched it with my back pack? Also no.

This was by far the smallest room we have stayed in which was really tricky with 2 kids and a pet. The hotel is portrayed as pet friendly this simply means pets are allowed the area is not great for animals. You have to cross a very busy road in order to get to grassed area and its very steep. There was alot of people who were drinking heavily and made us all feel unsafe. Its a rough area. If you were traveling alone and have to walk a dog alone it might be dangerous. The elevator is even tiny! It was not cheap we payed almost 400$ for the tiniest of rooms. Id really try elsewhere

Beautiful view of the lake and sunset. Within walking of the downtown, restaurant, harbor, tourist items like boat cruises, plane sight seeing and near good grocery store. Lots of trails nearby and easy driving to Rushing River. Does not get better than this.

Cozy and clean room with a great view of the lake (Room 611), especially of the Canada Day fireworks! Staff is friendly and efficient. Walking distance to downtown area and lots of shops/restaurants. Wish their restaurant was open for convenience

Excellent comfortable rooms. Not a single amenity however. No restaurant or bar, which I did not notice being mentioned on the Expedia site. At |- $250/night, that was completely unacceptable. Staff were nice and everything spicy and span clean.

The mattresses were terrible it is advertised as "full service" but there is no restaurant and they didn\'t even have a breakfast buffet setup. For the cost of a night stay they could ata minimum have muffins, fruit, yogurt and juice setup. Extremely disappointed 😞.

The only disappointment was that the hotel restaurant was closed during our stay. It is at the top of the hotel where the view would have been awesome? We were there in the off season (February) by an on site restaurant would have been nice.
