I was hoping for a warmer and deeper pool. The price of the room was not worth the extra money if you reserve it for the indoor pool. The pool is approximately 1 meter deep. The morning coffee was very good.

Pool is not great. Ladder is not solid and the bottom of pool is pretty dirty. The hotel needs some fix ups. (Ripped carpets, broken tiles, pool…) price was pretty high $225 cad per night. Walls a paper thin and you can hear everything. Other hotels in the area are better.

Pool was very cool, didn’t go in because it felt like an ice cube. Had to get the desk person to fix the heat and couldn’t put up or down still after staff set it.

Used to be a salt water pool. We liked that better. It was warm and never crowded. Minimalist rooms. Clean. We have stayed before and will likely stay again. The price is good and staff polite. They were generous to agree to a one hour later than usual check out which was appreciated. If you are expecting something special with extras this is not the place for you. Beds are fine Lots of free parking.

We got here and pool was closed and elevators were not working. Did not offer us a discount.

Place looked clean. Elevator jumps when it stops creating a scare feeling. Bed looked lumpy and small for a queen. Pool looked dirty as the sides and bottom have buildup of grime and dirt. The pool washroom have lots of rust on the metals.

We were given a room that was still occupied. We got a new room and it had emptied beer cans next to the bed. Will not stay here again.

The room was very clean! Cleaner than even some 4 star hotels I've stayed in Toronto. I think this Motel 6 is top tier of motels, I was quite surprised how pleasant it was for a one-night stay of a work trip. The front desk staff were both also great.

Worst stay we have ever had there. We stayed several times before so we knew it was budget. This stay had us discovering a toe nail in the bed when we peeled back sheets to go to bed; the next day house keeping came and we still had coffee marks all over our desk and new black hairs appeared beside the phone. We were woken all night by girls playing ding dong doorbell game and there was NOTHING done from management, except they recleaned the room and changed sheets the following day after toenail discovery. We never ever ever stay again. Spend the money and stay elsewhere.

Very clean. The room was clean, updated, quiet. The ladies at the front were very accommodating and helpful especially since we had to extend our stay because of the snow storm. Love that they are pet friendly, and they don’t charge extra for your furry friends. Location is excellent. Close to the main road, walkable to restaurants and stores. Short drive to Arrowhead PP. Would have been great if they had a gym room for days that you are just stuck inside because of weather conditions. The pool was a bonus, though. Small, but if you work your time around when it’s not busy, then it’s all yours. Will recommend!

The property itself was very clean and well kept. As for the rooms, same thing applies. They were very clean and tidy. As for complaints, the only complaint we had with the room was there's no coffee pot and the bed was too soft. But that's not the fault of the motel. We like hard beds. Getting up in the morning. I was disappointed that there was no hot breakfast but then I should have read about that when I booked in. The staff were great and friendly. Had a really good time when booking in the young lady was a joy to speak with. I believe most people would enjoy this motel and the surroundings.

Check in is supposed to be 3pm I had to wait until after 8pm the room was dirty even after it was cleaned in hurry There are cobwebs in the corners, crumbs on the floor and it feels dirty

Conveniently located. Efficient check in. Easy parking. The room itself was bare bones. Not a single drawer. No extra blanket. TV picture was very poor.

When did a Motel 6 become $200 for nothing? Short answer: Won’t be returning. Pros: Check in was smooth, room was at least clean, lots of parking. Cons: Very Basic room. 1 flat pillow each, no extra blankets, walls very thin. 1 ‘shelf’ next to the bed (as opposed to something on each side). You could hear toilets flush above. Not sure what you’re supposed to do with a tiny corner tub and oddly placed shower head? Not even a continental breakfast. You can smell people cooking rice and fish in their rooms. Don’t book here if you can help it.

We had 2 doubleBeds room. Beds size seemed a bit small than regular but room was clean and shower, washroom was in good condition. Overall it was good.

The beds were very uncomfortable, not a queen size and poor support for a side sleeper. Didn't sleep well. But otherwise the room was clean and service was friendly.

Booked this motel specifically because it is listed as "per friendly". We brought our cat with us as we would be out of town for too long for him to be alone. Upon check in I was asked if I was aware of their "pet policy". I was told that if I left the premisis without the cat then I would be charged $100 each time I did that. No where online is that listed. I said we're here to visit family and that we would be on and out throughout the day. We were going to be going to dinner while there. I would be able to enjoy the pool on site or go outside but couldn't leave without the animal. I asked the front desk agent, so I am not able to leave without the cat? Am I supposed to bring him with us to dinner or while we were out and about and leave him in the vehicle? That was ridiculous! The front desk agent proceeded to tell me in a disgustingly unprofessional manner that they were not an animal shelter. I said what's the difference if I leave to go swimming at their pool versus leaving to go to dinner? Or to enjoy other activities? I wasn't planning on abandoning him all day at the motel. We recently lost our dog and decided to bring our cat with us so he wasn't home alone for days. No one was able to take him. Again nothing is listed online about being fined $100 everytime we left the property without the cat. We had originally booked for a couple nights but needed to leave. They were unaccommodating and wouldn't refund our second night. Awful service!!

When I checked in I was greeted by a sign that said Back in 15 minutes … I saw this sign several times that I was at the front desk.

The front desk refused to check anyone in before 3pm, despite a large group of people (over 10) standing and waiting. He disappeared into the office to avoid everyone, the Ironman race going on the next day and all the athletes were hoping to get settled in. I doubt that every room in the hotel was not ready. I showed up at 245 and was still told to wait. Not super impressed.

Everything was fine, however upon check-in we were greeted by a sign on the desk, "back in 15 minutes" I waited and checked in, I noticed minutes later, there were 2 people on the desk, couldn't they take turns for a break?

Great staff, very clean rooms and super convenient location. Would stay here again! Only complaint is that the lighting in the hallways is very low.

We booked last minute to stay here and it was very welcoming and clean! Beds were super comfy and front desk staff were amazing at check in!

When I checked in at 3 pm, I went up to the room to make sure that I had a nice room, set the air conditioning on and went to my function. When I returned at 11 pm I found that my key card no longer worked and the room was occupied. I went back to the front desk and was told that I had been checked into a different room and was given different key cards. I’m still waiting for a return call from the manager.

The manager was not very nice when I tried to cancel my room for the second night, would not allow it, even though the pool was broke, and the rooms are very, not clean. The walls have dirt on them and it needs to be upgraded. The manager is not a nice person!

Close to hi-way - good proximity to Huntsville

This is a budget motel suitable for a night on the road. The property is older but was clean, the staff were helpful and everything worked properly in the room. It’s close to the highway and has shopping, restaurants and Tim’s near by.

We had a great time at Motel 6 Huntsville. It's 5 minutes away from Arrowhead Provincial Park and very close to a strip mall that has restaurants (Pita Pit, Kelseys) and stores (Walmart, Bulk Barn, etc). The decor in the rooms is a bit dated but everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. This was our 2nd stay at the Motel 6 and when we return to Arrowhead, we will stay here again. Great price for a clean and comfortable stay. Staff were friendly too!

The motel is in a great area — just a short drive from town, making it peaceful and safe. I love how cozy and quiet it is, and it’s a solid 10/10 for cleanliness — even cleaner than some star-rated hotels I’ve stayed in!

Basic rooms, very clean and professional and friendly staff. The motel is quick access to many restaurants, a grocery store, and 2.5 kilometers from downtown Huntsville. Great location. If you don’t mind a basic room, it’s perfect for the budget friendly person and the room was cleaned after I returned after a day out. Very clean room and had everything I needed. The pool is also nice, fun for kids.

Nice hotel, and conveniently located. There was smoke smell on the hallways and the pool had way too much chlorine, which we didn't appreciate because we were with my children and my friend's children, but the overall experience was good. The rooms were decently clean, and the personnel were extremely kind, so it made up for the missing breakfast options.

The room was small, but comfortable. Clean and updated. Hotel was quiet. Only thing I wish the hotel offered was a continental breakfast. The photos online show a cart with some muffins etc by the coffee station but I was told there is only coffee/tea

Our room didn’t have a remote for the tv. I thought every room would have a coffee maker, coffee, tea and condiments. They did have a coffee bar in the morning, but should offer apples, bananas, granola bars , etc.

It was nice that there was an indoor pool available. Room was clean and tidy but it really was quite small. We missed not having a continental breakfast in the morning which most places where we have stayed provide. Only tea and coffee we available in the morning. *Worst point* was that the room was too warm (in August) and the in room thermostat was obviously not functional. Hours after adjusting the temperature, it had barely fluctuated. We did not sleep well due to the resulting discomfort. Left us feeling like the owners are big time penny pinchers! This room was not cheaper than those at other hotels and we won't be in a hurry to ever return.
