We stayed here for YQM as it was super close. We booked last minute, morning of the concert & we’re thrilled! Hotel was clean and quiet. I was kind of worried it would be loud due to the festival being that weekend, but we didn’t hear a thing. The outdoor pool is nice, too. Our view was excellent. The hot breakfast was also fantastic! Will definitely be back.

Clean, quiet room with comfortable beds and pillows. Early Aug 2025 there's construction happening on the main road in front of the hotel so it's a little confusing on where to get into the patking lot from main street. Wish there's more towel hanging bars or hooks in the bathroom. There's a complimentary free breakfast included in our stay which I didn't expect. Walking distance to downtown, restaurants and grocery stores. Free parking included. There's a small park beside the hotel and you can watch the tidal bore behind the hotel.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was great. Elevator was really slow and seemed most were using stairs(no big deal). Also water was only slightly warm when showering which was a bit frustrating . However would stay here again for the staff and the convenience.

Great base for exploring beaches in the area. Only 1hr 5min to PEI. Breakfast included was nice, but be prepared to wait awhile for a table. Kids enjoyed the pool.

There is construction out in front of the hotel that made getting there slightly difficult. Otherwise the hotel is lovely, continental breakfast was delicious, beds and pillows were very comfortable. On the second floor, even taking the elevator up you have to navigate stairs which made bring luggage to and from the room a bit of a struggle but we managed. Overall a really great place to stay.

We were surprised at how small the rooms were particularly the bathroom. The room was quite a walk from the elevator where you had to navigate a few steps down to the wing where our room was located. Not an issue if you have no mobility issues. But it is a challenge wheeling your luggage as you do have to pick it up to go up or down these steps. The window was also dirty with bird droppings.

The room was given a pet cared client and all floor, armchair was full of hairs. There was a long human hair in the towel. They need to designated some room for client with pet or have to clean properly.

Everything was great! Room was very clean and the breakfast was good with a lots of variety. The staff go above and beyond. After we got home, we realized our 5 year old left his stuffed penguin behind. The staff were so diligent and excellent in helping us find and get penguin home. Highly recommend!!

We spent 2 nights at the Rodd Moncton Friendly staff, good location, clean and comfortable room and a good breakfast. We even got to see the Bore! Highly recommend!

Inital feels, the hotel felt very stuffy and difficult to communicate with staff. The room was far from accessible. My significant other and I are both disabled. The room had a state case to traverse before entering room even though there was an elevator to get to the floor the room was on. In the evening we found a beetle on the bed before turning in and in the morning found an earwig on the bed. the bathroom very nice however the toilet way mounted sideways in the corner of the room making it impossible to side on the toilet in a normal way. we had to sit on the toilet sideways. The pool was an absolute bonus and the continental breakfast outstanding and a great value. Overall the hotel had some very real safety concerns, bugs, and lay out issues. I doubt I would return due to this but appreciated the experience non-the-less.

Except for its location at a stop light & crossroads, it was a perfect hotel. Traffic died down later at night so it was much quieter. Would've preferred a room that wasn't facing out at the street. Otherwise, everything else was spot on.

The first time we stayed, we were unhappy with a room on the street side. Very noisy. We knew we were coming back a week later and asked for a room in the back. We now have a very quiet located room. Staff was very accommodating. Room is perfect.

The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable but we had a room facing Main Street which was like a car-revving raceway. Very noisy. I’ve stayed in rooms facing other directions and it was much quieter. Would suggest asking for a room not facing Main Street and it will be a great stay.

I stayed at the Rodd following my Lasik procedure. They allowed for an early check-in after the surgery so I could rest. They also recommended the best room that would be quiet and dark for resting during the day. It was most appreciated. The manager had had the Lasik procedure done and she knew exactly what I needed. Would definitely recommend! The bed was very comfortable and having a quick hot breakfast before heading back to the laser clinic the next morning was super convenient.

We only stayed the night and were hoping to watch the tidal bore right outside the hotel property. Unfortunately, it didn't feel safe with a lot of unhoused people occupying the area right outside the hotel where people would view the river.

We stayed on the fourth floor in a street view room and found the traffic noise very loud, even late at night. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. AC works very well. Parking is very convenient and the location is great. The breakfast buffet was pretty chaotic and the selection wasn’t as good as comparable hotels I’ve been to.

Room was very clean, but hallways had an “old” smell to them, but this didn’t carry into the hotel room. Breakfast buffet was varied and included hot items. TV in room was small (32 inch model). Beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly.

The room itself was fine and clean, and the staff were friendly. Lack of decent coffee facilities in the room was disappointing, as was the fact that there were only cardboard cups. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing: low-quality coffee, fake scrambled eggs, served in paper cups and on paper plates. Will stay elsewhere next time.
