The room wasn’t properly cleaned. First 2 nights I was there, there was peanuts from the previous guests on the ground. Also the TV didn’t work properly it wouldn’t change from the welcome screen to a channel I had contacted the front desk and maintenance couldn’t do anything about it. Also the fridge was leaking and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. This was by far the worst experience I have had at this hotel. When I contact the front desk about the issues the maintenance guy just looked at it and said he couldn’t fix it and to let front desk know. Which I did and they never even offered a room change or anything. They just let me stay in the subpar room and for the amount I was paying I feel like it could have been better. It’s crazy to think that I had better service when they were on strike in 2024 than I did now when they are fully staffed.

Our room wasn’t very clean. We found dead flies on the floor, used dental floss and the night stand was greasy from the previous stay. Location was great for our early morning flight the next day. The shuttle was easy and convenient and we had a good view.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. We had no issues last time when our room was in a higher floor. This time we were assigned to Room 334. Everything was good except for the bathroom. It had a nasty urine smell (like it was properly cleaned after the last use); we opened the window in the room as much as we could; didn’t help. We asked the front desk to have the maid thoroughly clean it the next day. Came back at night and still had that dry urine smell. I asked them to clean again the next morning and to also replace all towels and shower curtain. That helped! Then in the middle of the night around 11pm, there was a strong sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom. Even closing the door didn’t help. But since we had an early flight and had to leave at 4:30am, we didn’t want to deal with it

Decent stay. Location is not the best if you plan on using public transportation. Walls are quite thin. Had to file a noise complaint on the room next door as you can hear moderately loud conversations. Room was clean and hotel was modern and updated.

Nicely updated hotel: But the heat in our room didn’t work and from several staff that’s normal for many of the rooms. The front desk provided a small space heater (not what was expected for a newly updated hotel chain). Pool had not opened since the renovation, which was not listed anywhere during booking. Fan in the bathroom didn’t work either, but minor issue. Restaurant staff were awesome & very friendly.

We arrived in the early morning hours after a couple of flights. Kevin at the front desk was so kind and helpful he checked us in right away, made sure we knew where everything was in the hotel and then he upgraded us to a suite! We ate a lite breakfast at the little coffee bistro and it was wonderful. The room was spotless when we arrived and when we went out for our breakfast housekeeping quickly went in to clean our room before we got back! We are so impressed with everything about the Radisson Blu. We will definitely be back again! We had no trouble finding parking for our rental car

The room and staff were great during my stay, BUT…. After checking out early in the morning and taking a 1hr flight to my destination, I realized I left my medication in the fridge of my room. I called the same morning of checkout to see If it could be shipped to me. “No problem, we’ll inform the housekeeping and get back to you”. No response. I call again the following day, they forward my call to the housekeeping department. No response and I leave a voicemail. Again no response. I call the day after that and finally I get to speak with the housekeeping supervisor. They tell me they have it and will ship it to me. 3 days later, I receive a package. It’s not my medication. They’ve sent me someone elses medication. It’s now 5 days since I’ve checked out of my room. I call back to inform them that they’ve sent me someone else’s medication and after their investigation “sorry we don’t have it”. $400 worth of medication gone. Which could have been retrieved if the staff took my initial call and acted on it immediately.

Loved pretty much everything. Very disappointed with my meal from the restaurant. Ordered chicken fingers and fries for 21$ and they were comparable to Costco maybe not even as good as A&W. Rating them a 4/10. For 21$ and a nice looking restaurant I expected better. Even the fries were not great. Much improvement needed with this menu item. Shuttle great. Check in great and fast. Room was beautiful. Room view was great.

We stayed on the 10th floor. There three buckets in the middle of the hall catching water dripping from the ceiling. Our room floors were also damp. We were not sure if that was due to a leak or recent carpet cleaning. The front desk staff were courteous but offered no help. Also there is no room service in your hotel.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. But there was no information in the room about amenities (gym, food options, WiFi etc) and I was not given any information at check-in either. Service at breakfast was great but the food was just okay and quite overpriced. I did not know about the much cheaper grab and go option unfortunately.

We picked this hotel because of the 24 hour shuttle (it departs at the top and bottom of every hour) and its proximity to the Skytrain train station (a 15 minute walk away) that saved us the expense of a rental car or a taxi / Lyft / Uber. When I got to the airport around 8PM I looked at the airport and hotel website without success to see how the shuttle worked, then called the hotel to ask how to order a shuttle ride. Nobody ever picked up the phone after much waiting and many tries. Eventually it the shuttle showed up at the designated courtesy shuttle pick up location at the airport. When I got to the hotel, I asked how it all worked. They told me the twice per hour schedule and that it was first come, first served when departing the hotel, so line up early well before the top or bottom of the hour if you want to get on the next bus. The room and housekeeping was fine. There was some truck outside the hotel parking lot very early one morning with the beep-beep-beep-beep backup alarm going off for a long time that woke me up. The hotel staff needs to keep trucks away from the guest rooms during quiet hours 11PM - 8AM.
