Zero USB or Micro USB. Or USB-C ports in any of the hotel rooms, or the common areas, or the gym. So don’t forget your wall charger adaptor! Gym equipment is very dated, and not very much of it. Dumbbells top out at 30 pounds. Other than that rooms were clean as we hallways and common areas. Fairly nice casino attached. Super convenient as it is connected to Bridgeport skytrain station. Also comes with free parking for hotel guests, though it is quite a far walk for those with mobility issues..

This place is always so busy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the walk to parking is a bit of a journey, so once you park, any forgotten items stay forgotten LOL. The lobby is super busy most of the time due to the casino and live events. The $20/day resort fee was an unexpected unwated surprise.

The room and the washroom were dirty. There were multiple hairs, cup rings, window smudges, and dust all over the rooms. The bed was so old that it had a dip in it, which was covered with the cut-off top of another mattress. The person at the reception desk was very dismissive and would barely acknowledge me. I was eventually moved to the room next door, which was just as dirty. Thankfully, the bed was a bit newer.

The room was reasonably clean. There was some pink mold in the grout on the bathroom which is unappealing, and there is a lot of dust in the lights on either side of the bathroom mirror. I didn't have breakfast, but I did appreciate the Lavazza espresso machine in the room.

The room was not clean, and the property was very noisy. The bed was uncomfortable, the coffee tasted awful, and the pool was arctic cold. The west-side parking area had a strong urine smell. Additionally, the metal mesh walkways were in poor condition and could pose a safety risk—potentially cutting pets’ paws, damaging shoes, or causing elderly guests to trip. The only positive aspect of this place was the great view from the west tower.

Room was very clean. Staff was fiendly and responsive to our schedule. Housekeeper was efficient and friendly putting off cleaning our room until later in the day to allow for our special needs. I had a request after our stay called housekeeping and they responded immediately to help me.

We only stayed 1 night out of the two we paid for because the food at the hotel was horrible, and the bed was so incredibly hard and uncomfortable I literally got up and tried to sleep in the chair I couldn’t stand it. We ended up leaving after the 1st night. We will never be back. Then upon check out they don’t let you leave until they check the room like your gonna do something to it. I have never experienced that in any hotel ever, it was odd and uncomfortable. Save your money stay elsewhere. We will never stay or go there again, not worth it .

The only problem was the bed and pillows. Mattress was OLD, very very soft. Our King size bed had a great valley in the middle. Wife and I spent the night rolling into each other. Pillows too high. Result, sore back, tired, not much sleep, sore neck and an angry wife. Time to swap out the mattress guys, and provide pillows that don’t cause you to visit the Chiropractor next day.

The room was sizeable (living room pullout couch, separate king bedroom) and clean. There were several windows (that did not open), and the blackout curtains worked like a chap. There seemed to be no air circulation, though there was a thermostat that kept the temperature at a consistent moderate temp (we tried to turn it down at night, but did not notice a difference). The room was absolutely silent at night; which is great if you like that, awful if you need noise (which we do). The pool was awesome for the kids though the hot tub was continuously overrun by small children. We did not use the casino itself, so can't speak to the gambling scene. They hotel had a small shop that had both gifts and overpriced necessitates (sweatshirts, deodorant, etc.). The only "family friendly" food options were in the casino itself, where those under 18 cannot enter, so we had to "take out" or eat out of the hotel. The hotel is close to lots of other things, though, so not an issue. We LOVED that it is right across the way from the SkyTrain (amazing public transport, if you're unfamiliar)- will definitely use that again, if nothing else. We didn't interact with many staff; the few we did were pleasant. Saw a heron and a beaver right next to the hotel in the small pond/estuary area. We'd stay again, for the right price, for the pool for the kids, and the access to the SkyTrain.

When I arrived to check in, there were two staff members at the desk talking to each other, Im sure at least 5 minutes went by and neither one of them looked up or acknowledged that we were there waiting, or to say they would be right with me. I have never experienced that here before so I was surprised. Then when we got to the room the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed and there was hair on the bathroom floor (not ours) that remained there our entire 3 nights 😳 The couch was wore out and when you sat on it made some interesting noises.

Check in was not great. I was initially given a room on the 5th floor that was under maintenance. Not sure why a guest would be given a room that was not available. I had to go back down to the front desk and ask for another room, which was satisfactory. I have stayed at the River Rock before and have not encountered this issue, but it was inconvenient to say the least.

Like many, I used the RR as an airport hotel (it's 7 minutes from YVR by skytrain). The room was fabulous and the hotel tasteful and impressive (apart from the tacky casino) but it lacks a bar and a mid-market restaurant. There is allegedly a lounge and buffet but they were closed, and apart from that there is a hugely expensive steak bar or a crappy food court. On checkout, I had to pay a $23 'resort fee' for reasons that were unclear

Casino was well run. Breakfast had limited options. Main restaurant that I had enjoyed on previous visit was closed quite often. They had amazing breakfasts last time I was there and I was looking forward to that again so that was disappointing. Starbucks was available as was the food court in the Casino. Chinese food was fresh. Staff there was very helpful. I would have preferred more options.

It is a generally seedy hotel. Cutting through the casino was like taking a stroll through a degenerate part of town. The hotel has super poor wifi and one bar of cell coverage. Outdated and shabby. The lounge beside the buffet could not be more devoid of personality and decor - it felt like we were having a drink in a cafeteria. The staff was very nice. The food at the Gordon Ramsay restaurant was delicious but is expensive and you are charged extra if you pay by credit card. I would NOT go back.

Outstanding hotel and casino. Stayed in marina view 1-bedroom suite. Room was spacious and clean - view did not disappoint. Are at Gordon Ramsay’s steakhouse. Food and service were impeccable. We had lunch at the chairman’s boardroom overlooking the river. Great happy hour food and drink specials. Indoor pool and water slide are beautiful and great for kids. Casino was clean and dealers/staff were friendly. We only got to stay one night for a layover on an international flight, but would gladly spend 3-4 days here. It’s a clean, fun and upscale environment with amazing views.
