Although we arrived late and weren’t able to book a room on the airport shuttle ( first come, first served), the hotel provided us with a free taxi back to the airport. This was very much appreciated as the FCFS policy was not listed on the website and the shuttle was the main reason for choosing the hotel.

Good hotel with lots of amenities for a reasonable price. A great option when flying into/out of YVR. The airport shuttle service is less than ideal -- we were waiting outside for close to an hour watching other shuttles go by multiple times while waiting for their shuttle to arrive.

The hotel is located on a busy, busy road and it was a tough turn into the hotel. Plus, there’s very little space once you get into the hotel entrance to maneuver a vehicle especially. Decent location overall, nice staff and a good hot breakfast but it’s just a really tight squeeze for parking, etc. I would not recommend any large vehicles to attempt parking here.

As a Hilton Gold member, I expected a higher standard, but this property was disappointing. The carpet had a fruit pit left behind, the bathroom ceiling had noticeable water stains, and the worst part—mold on the shower doors! The only positives were its convenient location, about 5 km from the airport, and the free parking. I didn't stay for breakfast—I was eager to leave.

Our lock was broken because it ran out of power, caused a lot of inconvenience. Compare to other hampton inn we stayed, this is definitely the worst. The stairway is very dirty, with falling leaves and standing water. Avoid this place if possible.

I found hair in my bedsheets that werent mine. I stayed only one night and wasn't very impressed. I was quickly moved to another room but did not feel comfortable after the hairs were found. The hotel needs an upgrade, it is old, dingy and dull. And also overpriced at $400+/night, this hotel should never cost more than 150/night.

Our room was very clean and felt spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The fan in the room runs even when you turn it off but it didn't bother me. Shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. Breakfast had decent choices - we stayed for 2 nights and were pleased to find different hot food each day. Randomly, the oatmeal was surprisingly good. The only thing that would have been nice is lactose-free milk and gluten-free bread but to be fair I didn't ask for either, so it may have been available. For the price, which included the full breakfast and free parking (which most hotels charge extra for), this was an excellent stay. We have already booked again for one night before a flight, and this will be our new go-to hotel for pre- and post-travel from YVR.

Check in staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. When I turned down the bed, there was human hair between the sheets. I don’t think the bed had been changed from the last guest. Also checked three ice machines before I found one that worked. Changed rooms due to the sheets and the new room wasn’t as nice as the original.

Location and service were great. The waffle machine I used had a broken timer. The room we were in had sticky carpets that seemed to be really dirty. The bottom of my wife’s feet turned black from walking barefoot on the floor.

Close to airport . Property was clean and despite being in a busy area very quiet. Couple small issues could not get the fan to shut off do i had to pull the plug on it. It was comfortable enough that i did not need heat or air. Windows do open but no screens so in summer could be issue. Shower had both a hand held and wall shower but i could not figure out how to get wall to work so used the hand held but yhat got eater everywhere and difficult to was hair that way.

Check in was good room ready before check in time - much appreciated. Room was adequate but well below standard Hampton Inns. Very disappointed in room size, closet size, fan ran incessantly no buttons would shut it off - too cold. Couldn't move chair. No night table. Crappy room for price even. Would not recommend or return.

It was clean and welcoming. Service was excellent. Being a big and tall fellow, I found that the bathroom configuration was uncomfortable, and I actually bruised my leg on the metal toilet paper holder that was locked in place beside the toilet. The desk chair was also very small, and had arms that made sure I couldn't use it. Everything else was excellent, and my family was happy.

Loved our stay here for short overnight stopover between Vancouver and our final destination for the following reasons: (1) updated and renovated and very clean room, (2) the gentleman at the front desk was extremely organized and efficient and was basically awesome, (3) the shuttle driver was fantastic, and (4) the breakfast room was lovely. We will be back.

Poor experience at Hotel Hampton on Nov 3, 2025: - The staff mistakenly assigned the room twice. Firstly assigning the wrong room key and hence the key failed to open the room door. Unluckily & Luckily the guest who stayed in this room was just coming back. We showed the key envelop which matched his room otherwise we would become the break-in suspect. The second poor incident was that the staff wrongly assigned the room that had been occupying by other guest. It was so embarrassed when I opened the door and saw another guest inside the room. Hence I insisted the staff had to go with us to open the door on the 3rd trial. I did ask Hampton staff to make apologies to these guests.

The shuttle was great close by airport and driver was amazing. Front desk was ignorant about the checkout. When I requested the final checkout bill he answered that it’s confidential and can’t give it to me lol so I insisted that I need it as my right. Very ignorant. Front desk at the check is was little rude and did not show or gave us any info as far as room location, breakfast……. Bathroom was ok not like other Hilton. Basically this hotel is limited on a lot of things that Hilton use to offer.

Nice room, comfy bed, coffee maker in room, coffee and tea available 24/7. Free airport shuttle. Free hot and cold breakfast. Early check in and late check out. Convenient to public transportation. Room carpet could use cleaning as it was a little sticky. No restaurants within walking distance except for fast food. No shopping nearby except for Aisian food market and liquor store.

Very close to the Skyline train. Breakfast was good and I loved the hot water urn in front of the elevators. Yeh! As those mini coffee makers in the room always put a coffee tinge to your tea.

It’s what you’d expect of a basic/budget hotel located near the airport. Not a lot of restaurant/dining options that are walkable from this hotel. The bed is comfortable but this location is not using Hilton brand linens so the sheets are thin and small for the bed. Breakfast has minimal selection, served on the finest paper plates. Not well insulated against hallway sound. The shuttle to/from the airport is convenient.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable - the two most important things in my option. Bonus: the continental breakfast was huge and the airport shuttle was quick and on time. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was fine as overnight stay near the airport. Free shuttle is a bonus but dining options limited to breakfast only. Breakfast was entirely on disposable plates/cups/cutlery which felt out of place for a Hilton hotel. Food itself only average in quality.
