Although the facilities were great we experienced horrible waits for shuttle service even though we paid parking extended and had to pay for parking for night of stay as well . We contacted the hotel directly and shuttle contact at airport in total 3x ( not listed btw as it’s u see 4 points by Sheridan ) for pick up were told different arrival times . They didn’t take our names or number of passengers and other people just came out past us no calls and jumped on the ride even without baggage and complete disregard . Needs a better system . Ended up waiting almost an hour and a half from initial contact for pick up . Shuttle was full and couldn’t fit our people even though it loaded our luggage . Wasn’t comfortable leaving our suitcase on shuttle that couldn’t accommodate us as well . Need more accuracy more shuttles and more accountability especially for those of us who are disabled and can’t run rudely in front of others .

Noted my room request but did not honour it. Shuttle service a bit hit and miss. (Late both ways). Need to stipulate the hotel shares shuttle bus with Quality Hotel in Richmond and it is hard to see the hotel name which is sited near the back of the shuttle bus.

The time I booked this hotel was during Black Friday week so I had a pretty good deal. It’s a nice hotel for people who will need to go to the airport as there is a shuttle for it. The area has a lot of Asian restaurant since it’s Richmond, BC but if you need fast food, there is McDonalds right around the corner. Landsdowne mall is also beside if you need to grab other items and the skytrain is beside the mall. Hotel also has a parking lot for 10$ a day I think, we didn't bring our car so I can’t really recall the price. The staffs over there are very helpful if you need anything.

The hotel accommodation was fine. However, the shuttle service can be frustrating. Both times I've called from the airport to see when the shuttle is expected, I have had to wait close to one hour for a shuttle to appear. This is after an exhausting day of travel each time. I think your drivers mught be doing other things asa opposed to sticking to your posted schedule. Other than that the service, room, breakfast and staff are all very good. Thank you

Well didnt start out good shuttle service had to phone twice, then they said they where at airport and called out but a few of us never heard him cause like 200 people standing out there. Never told us the van also gas logo of comfort in on it also

I waited at the airport for a full hour but the hotel shuttle bus never appeared. During that time, I called six times, but no one answered. When I went to the hotel and asked the receptionist, he said he was alone and couldn't answer the phone. In the end, I had to take a taxi to the hotel because it was just too cold to bear.

The bedding was substandard, the sheets didn't cover the mattress at your feet. The quilt felt very used. There was hair in the bathroom in the tub, ceiling and floor. The Bath towel quality were substandard.

Our flight was cancelled and needed to find the closest hotel. We found this hotel which the exterior looks decent but the interior needs a lot of maintenance.. dirty carpet and moldy bathroom although the rooms were already renovated. It was not a comfortable stay. Glad it was only one night.

I liked this hotel on a previous stay. Clise to sky train and lansdown center. But this stay wasn't as great at the price point. $275 a night, had to pay to park. Room wasnt super clean. Dirty mirror, dusty lights in bathroom, mold or mildew in parts of the shower, old cloth behind desk, desk lamp didnt work, gumball or some candy under the desk and lots of dust.

Our room was hardly cleaned when we checked in. The shower had mildew and there was hair in it and on other bathroom surfaces. The main room was dusty, clearly visible on lamps, hard surfaces etc . The lady at check in was lovely and it was convenient for the airport… but for the price I was sorely disappointed in the cleanliness

For the price we paid I fully expected this to be a high end hotel based on the price I paid (a few dollars short of $500 for one night). It is not. The bathtub was all chewed up on the bottom (vandalized with a knife blade?), grout in between tile in bathroom looked dirty/stained. I have paid substantially less for much nicer and bigger hotel rooms over looking the ocean in Vancouver. I guess that’s the price you pay for not booking in advance. I would not stay here again.

I'm not sure why the Expedia reviews are so good and then when you look at the Google reviews they are not so good. So I don't know if Expedia or race is any negative ones that are particular for the hotel. The hotel is not kept up and you can tell as you walk through the hallways. Everything from the carpeting to lamps. Everything's either old outdated or needs a major cleaning. People constantly complain about the smell in the hallways, the deodorant that they use, which is very annoying to your senses when you walk into the hotel. I got one of the king size suites that was supposed to be a little bit nicer. The coffee maker was broken so it didn't work. Light bulb was out in the washroom light bulb was out and the lamp desk and the light bulb was flickering by the armchair. The window was broken so it got pretty cold in my room. When I tried to close the window it was clearly jammed and probably has been for a very long time and then the handle then basically just broke off when I tried to close it. I usually wipe down any room that I'm staying at and my wipes all came out pretty dirty. There is no housekeeping after a certain time so you need to go down for extra towels and you need to request for them to come in to change or clean up your room. The price was cheaper and that should have been a little bit of a warning for me. I wouldn't be staying here again.

The room is a bit dark, the bathroom is a bit ripped off. One of the front desk staff is not professional, no smile, did not book our requested shuttle bus, did not extend late check out though he promised while we requested. But most of the front desk staffs is helpful, and nice.

I will be back for sure thanks to people you have like Kanika. I stayed at other hotels in arround the city and the Grand Park Hotel stands out, so nice, to everything, great price for parking too ! The staff was very very courteous and they were very helpful. We could not reach the shuttle bus service at the airport and so we took a taxis. When we arrived at the hotel the desk employee offered to reimburse us for the fair. We we were pleasantly surprised! They happily stored our baggage for a time after we checked out. This was helpful. All staff were very pleasant.The hotel is just steps from a large mall and good restaurants. I would stay there again.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were professional and made our stay memorable. The Manager, Jocelyn and all of the front desk staff were absolutely wonderful and made all the difference in what could have been a very complicated booking. Expressing my extreme disappointment regarding a recent interaction I had with a member of your front desk staff on Saturday,Nov 22, 2025 around 1:00 PM. I am a travel agent and was checking in to pick up keys for my clients. The experience was unacceptable. When I presented my temporary BC Driver's License, the receptionist claimed it was expired, while the driver license expires next year and insisted I provide a photo ID, which I immediately did. However, after I received the keys, she proceeded to accuse me, stating, "I know you and you always park in their parking lot." I clarified that I had just received the keys for my clients and would be leaving right away, but she insisted multiple times, "You ALWAYS park in our parking lot!!!" This accusation was entirely inappropriate and ridiculous. When I requested her name, she refused to provide it. There is another receptionist whose name is Mary, and she is good.

Very good value, parking spacious usually, can't beat the price normally. Skytrain 10-15min walk away, walmart and other shopping nearby. The hotel next door has a breakfast included but this hotel is cheaper so you can use the money to get a better breakfast. This also has more elevators, the other hotel has one and you're always waiting there, recommend this one over the laquinta personally

fyi parking is an extra $10 a day. breakfast is $20 per person which is optional but it wasn’t very good. location is great area and very safe with a mall, mcdonald’s and laundromat in walking distance. after a couple days into our stay, the AC wasn’t working and you have to schedule housekeeping. airport shuttle was offered and convenient but don’t think i would stay here again personally but still enjoyed my time :))

The hotel was fine. The bed was comfortable and bathroom facilities really nice. Breafast was just horrible and staff were not helpful. Breakfast was a buffet style but it was a mess. Very low quality and unhelpful staff.

We spent 2 nights at this Hotel, upon receipt at Vancouver airport. Though ordered twice, we waited 50 minutes for shuttle bus, which did not come. Finally took taxi. Room very nice, exremely comfortable beds! Great. However, restaurant is horrible. No beer available, food we ordered, not available, though mentioned on menue. Breakfast and coffee very poor.

Rooms could use some cosmetic upgrades but it was clean and comfortable. Staff was quick, friendly and professional. Very affordable parking and a 10min walk to the skytrain if using transit. Tons of tasty restaurants in easy walking distance. Hotel offers a $20 breakfast buffet which is a good deal.

Amazing location with many dining options in the area with many restaurants within an easy walk. Pros: so many dining options, walkable area, mall across the street, safe, bus stop nearby, train service nearby, gym with free weights, continental breakfast included Cons: basic continental breakfast, no onsite pool, only free weights in gym, hallways could use some more vacuuming and cleaning, slow service in cleaning up breakfast area

We waited at the airport for almost an hour for the shuttle which didn't start us out very good. The girl at the desk during check in was not overly friendly at all. The room was clean and nice as was the public areas. The Restarant was very good for a quiet dinner.
