Our stay at Sleep Inn was very good. The room & bathroom were clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating when we asked for more towels after the 1st day of a 3 day stay. Was very happy that we could stay there with out polite, litter trained 2 year old cat (for a fee: $25: per day extra, plus a refundable pet deposit if $ 100, refundable sometime after you check out. I recommend this hotel.

We only stayed one night, but we had a great experience. Check-in online was quick and easy, and every employee I spoke to was helpful and polite. The room was clean and looked updated. We had everything we needed and had no problems. My only quibble is that the fitness room was a little lacking-- no mats or weights of any kind-- but this is a small thing, and did not detract from our experience. Definitely would stay here again.

I had a quick stay over, but this hotel was clean, modern and well lit at night. There was no pool, but we only stayed the night. Breakfast ended at 9am, but had waffles, yougut, biscuits and gravy to name a few. Our room was spacious and bed was comfy. It was clean too.

Went through the whole pre-checkin process just to have to do it again at the hotel when we arrived. Constantly received emails and texts asking to schedule checkin/checkout, which would have been fine had it saved any time, but it was pointless. Hotel also made a big deal about keeping counts on towels, sheets, etc. with a sign in the room stating customers would be charged if any were found missing - but the washcloths and towels we were given in the room were dingy, stained, and rough. Not sure why anyone would take those. Room also smelled musty, like the A/C had been leaking for quite a while and been left to dry. No breakfast even though there was a breakfast area set up. Parking was limited and we had to park by the road. Staff was not friendly or helpful at all. Overall not impressed and next time we will stay elsewhere. Disappointed by the other reviews that had this at 8.0 - definitely did not have that type of experience!

The entire hotel (but our room especially) smelled musty and it was always damp. Don't bother trying to use the computer and printer in the lobby. It literally took about 15 minutes just to boot up the computer, and even longer to finally get it to print. I'd say I was there for at least 30 mins just trying to make a simple print. The hotel was not clean and definitely not worth the price.

Pros: The room was clean and somewhat updated. It was spacious. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel had already brought roll-away cribs to our room per our online request. Staff was friendly and check-in was quick. Location was perfect, and parking was easy. Cons: Walls were thin and it was easy to hear noise of neighbors, and the addition of "hardwood" floors made the noise from the room above particularly loud. The metal bedframe made a very loud creaking noise everytime someone got up or down. Pet fee is actually $40, unlike what is listed. Breakfast options were pretty much limited to waffle or two cereals. I grabbed a cup of apple juice and ended up throwing it out because it was more water than juice.

Sleep Inn was get what you pay for! It meet the requirements for a cheap room. No frills, no TV channels, no pool, breakfast was limited. We had our dog so we stayed for pet friendly. They don’t even offer you dog a dog biscuit! The room was reasonably clean even though it was worn. The attendants were polite. We didn’t have any issues with A/C or rowdy people but lots of road noise!

Room was humid and damp. Floor sticky wet. The room air conditioner could not handle the humidity outside. Had to ask for a de-humidifier in the middle of the night to make it bearable. We were offered another room but all rooms we looked at had the same issue

We did not stay because the odor in the facility was overwhelming. It was clearly very moldy and housekeeping was using strong air fresheners to cover the smell. We got nauseous and headaches by just walking into the hotel. The staff was friendly but I lost my money by canceling the day of, despite paying for trip insurance. Haven’t figured that out yet.

The sheets had to be changed twice due to them being very dirty and the the bathroom shower had black mold growing in it. We asked them to clean it but they acted like they didn’t understand what we were saying. Never staying there again

The room was incredibly dirty. The toilet seat had black dirt all over, the floors were sticky and dirty, the bathtub was dirty, the room smelled like urine. We had to call the staff to come clean immediately of how dirty it was. It was a terrible terrible experience.

The hotel looked great online. It was very nice in the entrance as well… the place was not very clean though. We found some mold next to our bathtub, a bloody booger next to the bed on the wall, the floors were dirty and the sheets and comforters had stains everywhere. It was in a nice area but the room was not cleanly at all. We also needed more towels and sheets which they gave us but they tracked everything even though our sheets were gross. We have stayed at other Sleep Inns and they were much better than this one.

The woman at the front desk was friendly. We walked into the room and were hit with the overwhelming smell of mildew. We immediately turned around and asked her to see another room. She showed us 3 rooms and the smell was in every one of them. We left. I'm hopeful to get a refund because we didn't stay.

I only stayed a few hours in this hotel even though I had booked it for two days. I SAW A ROACH IN THE BATHROOM AND MY HUSBAND SAW ANOTHER ROACH ON THE NIGHT TABLE. I CANNOT recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is unclean, unhealthy…just disgusting!

We stayed here with my family over the weekend. The hotel is right off 280 and is close to shopping centers and restaurants. The price was on the cheaper side but you get what you pay for. The service was nice and the breakfast was decent. The place overall felt dingy. Portions of the floor in the halls of the second floor were spongy like they had foam underneath the carpet. It was weird. There also seemed to be what looked like data cords coming from the ceiling. The room seemed clean overall. It does seem outdated though. On our last night we entered our room and found a roach in one of the beds. We caught it and took it to the front desk to show them and the lady at the desk seemed slightly surprised and told me to let her know if we found any more roaches so that she could move us to a new room. We won't be staying here again.

When we arrived at Sleep Inn we were greeted by the front desk attendants - very kind folks. We checked in late (about midnight), and when we got to our room we started noticing issues, the first of which was that the room was so humid it felt wet. Upon showering, the drain was so backed up we were standing in shin-deep water by the end of the shower. When brushing our teeth we noticed hair (it looked suspiciously like pubic hair) stuck to the ceiling above the sink. We would have asked for another room but at this point it was about 1AM and we were exhausted. The next morning we woke up to the room still being humid despite the AC running all evening. We then noticed huge stains on the curtains, and then stains on the sheets. At that point we decided to check out even though we were supposed to stay a second night. We checked out and were told that we would still have to pay for the second night despite us not staying there due to their policy. This was shocking and left us feeling scammed. We booked through Expedia and were told that the hotel would have to issue the refund, which the manager adamantly stated would not be happening. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any friends or family due to the blatant lack of cleanliness, and am upset that my money was taken despite not staying at the hotel the second night.

Friendly staff. The room was humid and smelled. I think the bathroom has holding water behind the wall. The corner of the floor was wet when we arrived. There were french fries in the fold out couch. Get what you pay for I guess.

I was told what the password. I was not told there were two networks -- one of which did not work. I had to keep joining the network. The windows were not insulated, so I heard a lot of highway noise. A shelf in the bathroom, holding towels was bent. Breakfast was great. In general the property seemed well maintained. The channel selection was very good.

Very average at best. Nothing like the online pictures…. lipstick on a pig. The bed was firm, the bathroom water pressure was bad, holes in the walla… obviously repainted MANY times. Breakfast was very underwhelming. Place smelled clean but all most too much of a chemically smell. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Workers were nice and accommodating though.

the room was too humid. The A/C needs to be running before anyone checks into the room and it wasn’t. Quiet in the neighborhood, quiet in the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t good: no eggs. They did have biscuits and gravy.

I recently stayed here and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. During my stay, the toilet in my room overflowed, and when I reported it to maintenance, the situation was handled poorly. The maintenance person initially did not believe me and proceeded to flush the toilet again, which only worsened the problem. To make matters worse, while he eventually mopped up the water, he worked very slowly and failed to disinfect the floors afterward, leaving me concerned about hygiene. When I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk, the lady there casually mentioned that this was a recurring problem in my room.

The check in was horrible, however this had nothing to do with the Sleep Inn and Suites. This was totally Hotels.com's fault because I never received a confirmation number on the confirmation email. What made this soo awesome was the assistance, understanding and professionalism of the desk clerks at the Sleep Inn Fatimah and Marianny. They were the best and tried to assist in every way possible. Thank you to them both and they need a big raise for what they did,

Booked and paid for two rooms. Upon arrival, there was only one room showing as booked. Said there were on other rooms available, after a while of discussion, a room magically became available. Had to pay for it also. Charged $100 dollars deposit for each room. Clerk said it would be refunded upon check out. No refund, no invoice, stated it would be emailed from Expedia.com. Never received an email. No manger available to speak with. Spoke with another customer, who experienced like issues. Can't get a response from Hotel manager or Expedia.

The hotel was very clean. One staff member in particular stands out as exceptional. His name was Emerson. He went out of his way to be friendly, courteous, and helpful. I spent quite a bit of time in the lobby waiting on family. I observed his interactions with easy and difficult customers. He was patient with everyone.

I am a youth coach on an extremely low budget. I prepaid for two rooms and had other families reserve and pay for rooms as well however, the clerk required me to pay a refundable $50 deposit for incidentals for each room. Unfortunately, I have not been refunding after checking out early Sunday morning. Besides the beds needing to be made and towels, the rooms were exactly as we acquired them. I’m on the road a lot and stay in hotels often however, I’ve never had a hotel not refund me at checkout or not at all. What can I do to resolve this? We need the $100 back. We are heading back to Birmingham this weekend and will not go back to a hotel that wont refund what is owed me.

The gotel was worth the price. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was super nice and helpful. I called the hotel en route because i received a message saying my reservation had been canceled. I called to confirm if it was true and to know why if it was. The person whom answered was not helpful at all. He wouldn't even look into why my reservation was canceled. Instead, he tried to upsale me to a more expensive stay. However, the front desk person whom was there when i arrived was very helpful, and he checked and said that my reservation was not canceled. I don't know what happened, but i was very grateful for the person who was there when i arrived. Im sprry i can't remember his name, but he was an African American gentleman, slim, and about 6ft tall with brown skin.

Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. There is highway noise for even numbered rooms. AC worked well. Has decent sized fridge to hold leftovers. Pretty basic breakfast, waffles and biscuits and gravy.

The hotel was located convenient to the event I was attending. The only issue I had was that the rooms (we had 2) were very humid and the floor remained damp to walk on. The waffle makers (x2) did not cook the batter thoroughly so it was gummy in the middle. Overall an average experience

The room was very roomy and good shower water pressure. Breakfast offerings were light, no hot offerings like eggs or breakfast meat. No bagels and not good coffee unless you have a stomach of steel.

Pros: - nice size room Cons: -ridiculous to pay $100 deposit & have to wait for it to come back (this was just annoyance) -there was a scent/smell in room ( that constantly lingered) . Luckily we had air fresheners we brought -Mini refrigerator doesn't have a freezer up top ( I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't have a freezer part up top of fridge) - shower pressure bad and lukewarm water at best - sofa bed was stripped, had to put sheets on myself, (I've never had to do that at a hotel I've stayed at it's always already had a sheet on it) also was not too comfortable - their breakfast is from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. went down for breakfast at 8:00 and it was literally the most poor excuse of a breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel in my entire life. Almost everything wasn't restocked and there was literally only the options of refrigerated cheese omelets, old looking gravy, a pancake machine with no batter for it, juice and two different types of cereal and apples. ( would probably never stay at this hotel again)
