We appreciated the convenient location of this motel, right on a main road in town. Several restaurants and shops are in walking distance. We parked on the street as the motel's parking area is tight, and our full size pickup didn't have enough room to maneuver. Our room was small but very clean and efficiently organized. The parking was a little problem. We have a pickup truck and fitting that into unit number 5 was a problem. After unloading we just parked in the street, No problem, the motel is on a corner so there are two streets to park on and because it was winter the motel owner made sure we parked on the correct side of the street .thank you.

This little motel was dated but one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. Shower was amazing. Bed was comfortable. Check in was wonderful. Lady was so friendly, helpful and gave amazing suggestion for breakfast. We felt so very safe at this motel. Room was very tiny but wonderful.

We received a warm welcome from the owner who chatted away about what was going on in town, places to eat & things to do. Our room was spotless & bed comfy. We loved Ely, the Wolf & Bear Centers & perusing the shops of Sheridan Street. I even had a dip at Semer’s Beach on recommendation.

Loved this place and would definitely stay again! Owner was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the strong smell of fragrance which we guessed was maybe carpet powder because it didn’t really dissipate despite us trying to air it out.

Very cute property. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best motel beds I’ve been in! Front desk was super kind and welcoming. My only ‘issue’ was the shower… it would go from an ideal temperature to scalding hot, back to normal, and then to freezing cold and back to normal repeatedly. Other than that it was a great stay and I would definitely go back.

In the main road of ely where all the restaurants, theatre etc are present. Rooms are clean. Owner is super friendly and helpful. She helped suggesting us with few hikes which are good in the winter/snow and also gave us food suggestions. Rooms are pretty clean and sufficient for travel days. the internet speed was very good without any issues. It’s an old motel but well maintained.

Feels like an old-school "motor inn" 😃. Rooms are small and very basic, but they have beds and clean bathrooms (the bathroom was updated and nicer than expected!). Air-conditioning, TV, fridge & coffee pot! In Ely, if all you want to do is lounge in a room, this is maybe not the place for you. But if you just want a clean, quiet place to sleep & clean up, this is perfect! Plus, I asked for recommendations for places to eat breakfast & dinner. I was given several recommendations for each. We stayed on the list and all places were fabulous!!! We had a great stay!!

We received a warm welcome from the owner who chatted away about what was going on in town, places to eat & things to do. Our room was spotless & bed comfy. We loved Ely, the Wolf & Bear Centers & perusing the shops of Sheridan Street. I even had a dip at Semer’s Beach on recommendation.

This is an older motel right on the main road in Ely. Check in was easy and the owner was welcoming and recommended a couple of nearby restaurants. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice, quiet place to spend the night.

The room was clean. I expected more noise in the room as the property was older, but it was pretty quiet. It didn't offer breakfast, but the room rate was lower then other places so it was fine.

We loved staying at Hotel Ely! They have screen doors so you can actually have your door open to enjoy the beautiful weather. Shops and dining are easily walkable.

This was a great place for me to stay. I enjoyed the quiet around the room. The owner left me a note and the key to the room. I did contact her to let her know I arrived. I asked a quick question and she was very responsive and got right back to me. I actually got to meet her, her husband and child. Great conversation and I learned about the area. If thus is what you like then thus is for you.
