The one kind description indicates the property has an elevator however only part of the property has an elevator. The agent at the front desk, accommodated us and allow us to check into a room where there was an elevator in the building. Minor things… One of our lightbulbs in the sink area was out. The television pitcher tube wasn’t working. Major things… There was a long piece of hair in my bed. Both queen beds squeaked when they were sat on. There were stains on the ottoman. The toilet seat wasn’t screwed down.

The property is nice and clean. They have 2 buildings, one across from each other. The property needs a bigger sign esp on their second building... took us awhile to find it. The room we had was bigger and has a microwave, coffee maker and a refrigerator (which we liked). The only thing is, they don't have a vending machine or a little gift shop. The room doesn't have water to drink so make sure you buy before you go back to your hotel.

Great price but lights were burnt out outside our door and when I called front desk- they had no one to fix it. A little bit unsafe for coming back late. Good location and parking was great. Elevator was old and probably needs to be fixed because we went down and door never fully closed.

After checking in to the room we found cockroaches. I notified the staff at the front desk. I told him we would not be staying there and would require a refund. I was told it would take a couple days. I have not received a refund nor any response from the hotel. I REQUIRE A REFUND!!!!!

My room and the room next to me smelled sewer backup. My room was especially rancid. I had to keep the windows open in 47 degree night time Monterey weather just to keep the smell from being too overpowering. When I was checking out, the guest who was staying next to me was checking out as well, and when we both told the front desk guy, he shook his head and said, “No! Not possible.” Me and the other guest just left because we didn’t have time to deal with his rudeness.

One of the beds was super squeaky and made it hard to sleep at night. The microwave didn't work well. The room was a good size. Bathroom was small. Pillows were odd shape/size. 7/10

My family had an overall nice experience staying in this hotel. It's just about 10-15 minute walk to the downtown and fisherman's wharf. I love that the shops and cafes/restaurants open until late. Our room in the upper floor is spacious with a nice view. Would stay here again.

Very clean, updated room. Parking was easy and convenient. Would definitely stay here again but would request the top floor because we were on the bottom floor and you could hear every creak above you.

We only stayed one night and didn’t check in till after 8 PM but when we walked in, we were immediately surprised at how spacious the room was. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing we didn’t care for were how small the pillows were. Just odd, really, but I would definitely stay here again.

I liked thag the room looked and smelled clean. The flooring and room was updated, the Heater/Ac worked. I did not like that I could hear the upstairs neighbor walking around. I could also hear the people talking outside. But the neighbors settled down quickly and we were not bothered at night. The parking lot was calm and quiet. It was a pleasant stay. We would return.

I arrived at 13:20. I know check in was was 15:00 but asked if possible to check in early to leave bags at room. Manager stated yes room was ready but I had to pay 20$ for early check in. I understand check in is 15:00 but for good customer service was it really a big deal to colllect an extra 20$?? After experience and seeing other options available in the area I will stay elsewhere next time.

Overall this was a great place to stay for the price for us. The room was spacious, clean, and attractive. Wood flooring (rather than old carpet) was much appreciated, but also meant that noise from the kids upstairs was more apparent. The woman who checked us in and out was extremely friendly and helpful. When there was an issue with our room lock/key cards someone came over right away to fix the problem. It was great to have a fridge and microwave in addition to the coffee maker! Always great to have abundant parking. Several dining options within walking distance. I'd go back for sure!

Well re-modelled, soft beds, good parking, bit of a walk to harbour (10-15 minutes) but location decent. Has annex building across street west that isn't as charming but looks more modern.

Beautiful hotel that’s near everything. Being coffee lovers, we loved the free coffee to start the morning and even orange juice and lemonade being offered. Good parking, super clean hotel!! It felt like being home honestly. Beds were comfortable and i would to come back honestly, i even saved the address for the next trip! Love!! 10/10

Room was a little tucked away and hard to find. Once in the room, it was very clean. And quiet. Staff was just ok. Breakfast was a gronola bar (one choice) and thats it. All in all, for the price and cleanliness, it was worth it. I would stay again.

I enjoyed staying here the rooms are like new, the Ac snd heater work really well, my room was cleaned everyday, I didn’t have to ask. They don’t offer a hot breakfast like other days inn, but there’s so many places that are walking distance. I loved my morning view. It is definitely a place to stay at an affordable price.

Enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. It was quiet and peaceful. The area around is quiet as well (I stayed in the building across the street from the main building). Plenty of parking while I was there. Nothing fancy, just enough for a comfortable stay. Only wish they had continental breakfast.

Surprised to not have a coffee machine in the room. Coffee is served in the office but that isn’t until they open at 8am and coffee machine seems to not have been cleaned in god knows how long as the coffee was bitter and not drinkable.
