Great location! Walking distance to the Aquarium. The bed was very comfortable. Bring ear plugs the seagulls can be quite loud. We enjoyed the fire pits on level 2.

This location cannot be beat, they offer on site parking for 17.00 a day, very handy. My bed and room was very comfortable. I have read on other reviews where people complained of the people in the room above walking around, we experienced that same thing, very annoying. Wifi was hit or miss but they said they were having issues, so I will accept that and not make an issue of it. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, I would just be sure to ask to be on the top floor.

Our 5th time staying. As always great location, clean room, comfy bed. Fire pits are nice. Always bring wam clothes. Evenings cool down. If you staying walk across the street and eat at the Wave Cafe. Everything is delicious, but the cinnamon bun pancakes will have you coming back.

It was a great stay, within walking distance to all activities at Cannery Row and the Aquarium. There is a $17, daily parking fee, but that is better than having to find parking everyday. Once parked, walked everywhere. Front desk was friendly and helpful during check-in

I know there are not many choices in the cannery row area however the wave street inn is run down and in need of some care. The carpet in the room had severe stains and smelled terrible. The most shocking thing is that the bed sheets were worn so thin that you could see through them and there was holes in them. Once the room was made up by housekeeping the holy sheets were not even changed. Water pressure was good and plenty of hot water but the rest was really a bad experience. Never again for me.

The location was great and check in was was easy but wife saw a flea jump on her and daughter ended up with a couple of bug bites that we're now assuming were flea bites. its unfortunate because it couldve otherwise been a better stay

Just a 2 day getaway... Like they say... location, location, location.The hotel is fine... The lady that checked us in was nice and helpful. The hoteCould use a deep cleaning... The carpet was a little dirty... Decorative pillows too ... But you can literally walk to pretty much anywhere on Cannery Row

The inn is well located and a nice property. The beds were comfortable but the noise we experienced from the room directly above us was very frustrating. It seemed like there was no insulation installed when the inn was constructed. The amount of noise we experienced from the room above affected our ability to sleep very well. Of course I don’t know if this is an issue with all the rooms, only the one we stayed in.

The property is one street from Cannery Row. The staff was very friendly. Overall the property was clean and presented accurately. We could not hear our neighbors on either side of us, but you could hear people walking on the floor above.

The room is a little small. Bed and pillows not too comfortable. It was clean. It’s very close to cannery row and has parking so those are the big perks. No gym is a negative but easy to run onto a long bike path along the coast.

No duvet cover on duvet - apparently they ran out (but didn’t tell us that when we checked-in). Then noise from room above unbearable - can hear every step of people walking around - plus noise from cars the street. No chance of a good night’s sleep basically. Disastrous choice - wish I’d booked elsewhere, especially considering the price

We really liked the Wave Street Inn. Location was GREAT. Staff was friendly and nice. The only downside was the beds as the matress seemed old and worn down, if laying on the bed always felt like I was going to roll off.

The power was out due to major storms in the area. John from the front desk carried our bag to the 3rd floor room, gave us a flashlight, waived the parking fee, and even offered to refund the charge for the room if we decided not to stay. He was very friendly and helpful.

We arrived early before check in time. I asked if we could park our car at the property so we could go explore until check in time. The gentleman at the front desk was so nice that he said our rooms were actually ready and we could check in. It made our day!

Wonderful stay. Staff was amazing. We arrived after check in hours and they were able to accommodate. Carol and Gina were super helpful made check in so smooth. Rooms were clean and everything was just amazing. Will definitely come back and stay here again.

Great location. Steps away from all the shops/restaurants of Cannery Row at an affordable price. Staff was great. We were able to do early check-in on a busy 4th of July weekend at no extra charge! We were Also given a good bag at check in with a bunch of snacks which was perfect when we went to explore the 17 mile drive.

Great location - easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Room was clean and staff were friendly. The only thing I would say is that the shower door needs to be adjusted or needs a gasket because after a shower the floor outside was soaked.

Location was perfect. Close to The Wharf, Canary Row, aquarium, dining and shopping. Very walkable. Fee to park, was worth it, we parked and didn’t need the car until checkout, which is noon, but you can park until 4 on check out date.

If you're looking for a convenient hotel with no frills, the Wave Street Inn is great. Rooms are clean and location is great for Cannery Row and Aquarium. Amazing location. Proximity cant be beat. Sea Harvest restaurant, located directly behind The Wave Inn has THE best fish & chips, fresh fish, clam chowder, everything A++. The Wave restaurant for breakfast & lunch, equally amazing! Staff @ the hotel could have been more welcoming. Check in & check out, not the most friendly, but chalking it up to mundanity of the job?? Anyway, would stay again & overall, totally recommend

Our stay was great. The location is ideal. The weather was perfect. One day we walked along the streets of Carmel. The next day we went whale watching, and saw a bunch of whales. It’s Dungeness crab season and everywhere we ate was delicious. Our favorite brunch spot, The Wave Cafe, which is across the street, never disappoints. Can’t wait to come back again.
