Great stay clean and convenient.

The lady at check in was super crabby. They charge an extra $10 for booking third party and she got incredible mad when I asked what the “balance” I owed was. The rooms looked nice - but was super nasty. Pubic hard on the bed, mud spots on the comforter, food in the corners or the room. Not worth the money. The guy at check-out was friendly though. Definitely go elsewhere. The pics make it look way better than it really is.

We really loved our stay here! Right off, the person at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us a free upgrade. Complimentary coffee in the lobby and the room, a refrigerator, microwave, and fireplace were nice amenities. Our room even had a distant view of Monterey Bay. The hotel is located less than a mile from Fisherman's Wharf, and we walked there in about 20 minutes. The condition of the room was mostly very good, but I gave that area a 4/5 because the shower head looked like it needed to be replaced and there was about a 5 inch crack in the ceiling over the bathroom sink. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Monterey.

We enjoyed the fireplace very much. The room was a good size and a really nice bathroom.
