Pacific Inn Monterey

Parking was good.

The room is very clear, parking is easy and staffs are very nice.

The room was very spacious and very clean with all the necessary amenities, including a microwave and a fridge. The staff, front desk and housekeeping, were all amazing. The first night we stayed in a room on the first floor. The guest in the room right above us was the problem. This person was walking back and forth making SO MUCH noise from 9 p.m. -12 a.m. Then it was quiet. Then the noise started again around 2:30 a.m until 3:30 a.m., and again from 5 a.m. until 8 a.m. We only slept about 3 hours. The next morning I went to the front desk and requested another room on the second floor. The young man (don't remember his name) was very nice and went above and beyond to accommodate our request. He gave us another room on the second floor, and we slept beautifully that night. The hotel is close to several shops, such as CVS, 7-Eleven, and a restaurant. All in all, I would stay here again but in a room on the second floor, and I really recommend it.

The reservation was easy, but confirming it was a pain and after reading several reviews of Monterey Hotels not having Hotel.com bookings I was worried. After a website chat I was told the hotel had my reservation but be aware if you call direct to the property to confirm it might not be there. Mine was there upon arrival.
