Best Western Park Crest Inn

Very clean room, friendly staff, breakfast was delicious, and I liked that the time for breakfast was 7-10am, later than most hotels. Eggs, sausage, bacon, tater tots, lots of muffins, toast, oatmeal, fresh fruit, great selection of teas coffee and juice. The hot tub was nice, very clean area and pool was warmer than I thought. Will definitely stay again.

Somehow the pool looked much bigger on line. And the breakfast was VERY basic...no hot oatmeal and minimal pasteries. The "scrambled eggs" looked like yellow tofu. They added cold water to the jacuzzi in the middle of the day, so it wasn't hot at all while we were there that afternoon. However, staff was very friendly and helpful. They even took our luggage up the stairs for us when we checked in since there wasn't an elevator.

The breakfast is standard hotel buffet style. Rooms are clean and updated. The staff is amazingly helpful and professional. Parking was a little tight, but doable. If you have a long work truck it'll be a little trickier. The rooms could be a little more soundproof, but our neighbors were real respectful. Sometimes you could hear when guests were walking and talking as they passed the room. Overall we would stay again. Great bang for your buck.

Check-In: The young man who checked me in was professional, courteous, well dressed, and was an excellent representation of The Best Western property. He was thorough when explaining the property amenities and breakfast schedule. Location: Excellent location to all the points of Interests I had visited. I usually prefer the hotels that ha e all the rooms inside. Despite it having a "motelish" vibe, it was an excellent t property. The room was no different than a Marriot or Hilton hotel. Room: It was very clean, smelled really good, and very spacious. Housekeeping cleaned my room & replaced my towels without me being asked. I had a microwave, free internet, & refrigerator. Bathroom and room area were both very spacious in size. It checked all my boxes. Property: Well-maintained, clean, had a pool, spa, ice machine and regular vending machines. Free Breakfast: The area was small but sufficient enough to allow a good number of people to eat inside. It also had a small outside patio area. The food was equivalent to a continental breakfast. I only ate bananas, but if you are traveling with a family, it would suffice. A great way to save money. Overall, I would stay here again when in the Monterey area again.
