Room was clean - needs some updating - bed was comfy. Was a little disappointed, Altho two stories, there was no elevator. We had a bunch of up and down the stairs just to get unpacked. We were there cause my daughter was getting married nearby. The convenience of Walmart nearby helped for forgotten items.

My room 121, smelled horrible. Everything is old and in bad shape, toilet seat was horrible! The TV remote was being held together with tape and it was not working. Entire hotel has one ice machine and it is in the lobby. The only drink machine in the place was out of order and the juice dispenser was out of order during the breakfast service. I booked through a third party so I got a little bit of a discount but had I booked directly through the hotel the room price was $113 I paid $105/night plus taxes/fees. I feel like this is severely overpriced for the hotel but it is the ONLY hotel in Marion,SC. However I would not recommend the hotel and I would not stay at the hotel again, because it is not up to the standards of choice hotels or other hotels. I would rather stay 30-45 minutes away from Marion then to pay the ridiculous price for such poor quality. Upgrade the hotel if you want to charge what other hotels are charging then offer the same quality!

I really enjoyed my stay at The Quality Inn. Clean is the best description of what I have for the staff and the facility. What I was disappointed that there were No in house laundry machines. If a washer and dryer QI would surpass so many hotels.

The check in clerk was friendly. The room was clean, but musty smelling. Turning the air conditioner down quickly took the smell away. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. It was good for an overnight stay.

This is the only motel/hotel conveniently located on the Marion/Mullins bypass to Myrtle Beach, SC. The exterior is kept neat and clean, the AM breakfast is adequate, the room is clean and the staff were excellent during my stay, July 24-27, room 108. The facility is listed at a 2.5 rating; it is about 40 yrs old now and could use some updating. It also has a faint smell of cigarettes in the carpeted room; even though there is a posting on the front door, smokers did linger close to the entrance. Hopefully, the owners will do a refresh during the fall and winter months to be ready for the spring/summer travelers.

Nice staff and bright, updated common area. But the hall carpets are torn and stained. Same for the guest room. Chipped paint. Battered furniture. Broken soap holder in the shower. Grimy window. Musty smell when entering the room. Still, the room and bathroom were clean. Fresh linens on the bed and a clean shower basin.

I room was extremely hot. Made for an exhausting nights sleep. Should not have to say anything to staff about a rooms air conditioning not working. They knew that room was hot when it was cleaned last. Will never stay again.

We arrived Early the morning of the 7th. The staff including the maids were very nice. They even cleaned our room early so we could check in somewhat early. The night of the 18th ar 9:45 i asked Tiffany who was working the front desk for a fork and she refused to get me one. She said that if i wanted cutlery then i needed to get it in the morning when breakfast is served. I had to drive to the store and purchase a fork. I came back to Tiffany an hour later to ask for a trash bag so i could clean the room and and she was on the phone with friends. She didnt seem to want to get up and help me. She said that they dont have trash bags. I explaind that i needed 2 bags for the trash cans provided and she rudly without getting up handed me one small bag that she found next to her again without getting up and looking. Everyone was extremely nice except for Tiffany at the front dest. Also the A/C unit in room 119 was leaking so bad that it soaked the carpet and also made are clothing and bedding wet. The A/C has been leaking for some time because there is mold on the floor and baseboard. I will enclose a photo. The other photos are how we left the room when we left.

We came to Mullins for business and had rented two rooms, we needed early check in and Jalisa was amazing! She made sure we had everything and went above & beyond for me and my staff during our stay. This was a super convenient location because the venue was only 13 mins away. Our rooms were well conditioned and rates were reasonable. Breakfast was great and the attendant was extremely hospitable. Would definitely recommend and also book again!

When we walked in we were greeted by the most sweetest lady. Her name is Nicole and she was on duty to check us in. She was so personable and helpful. She accommodated us with so much patience and ease. My family and I came in for my daughter's graduation from Sanford, NC and if i lived closer, we would definitely come back! The property was so clean and smelled really good. The beds are comfortable, we had plenty of towels and the front desk staff were very polite.

The lobby receptionists during check in and out were both pleasantly helpful and friendly (Nicole and unfortunately, I didn’t get the other young lady’s name). When I first arrived the phone in the room wasn’t functional nor did the internet/cable service work. However, Nicole called someone who was already on his way home, but, he came back to rectify the problem. I was also a bit disappointed with the lack of towels and wash cloths available.

Our room was opened up by hotel staff during an outing, for the door to be painted. No one communicated that this would occur. We had nearly $2000 worth of property in that room and it was left open for hours. They expected us to sleep with the door open if the paint wasn't dry yet. Seriously.

She said that if i wanted cutlery then i needed to get it in the morning when breakfast is served. I had to drive to the store and purchase a fork. I came back to Tiffany an hour later to ask for a trash bag so i could clean the room and and she was on the phone with friends. She didnt seem to want to get up and help me. She said that they dont have trash bags. I explaind that i needed 2 bags for the trash cans provided and she rudly without getting up handed me one small bag that she found next to her again without getting up and looking. Everyone was extremely nice except for Tiffany at the front dest. Also the A/C unit in room 119 was leaking so bad that it soaked the carpet and also made are clothing and bedding wet. The A/C has been leaking for some time because there is mold on the floor and baseboard. I will enclose a photo. The other photos are how we left the room when we left.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the area is very convenient. Love that it’s a Walmart, Gas station and a lot of fast food options walking distance to the hotel. This hotel is old and needs major renovations, once that happens it would be a great place to stay.

This is the only motel/hotel conveniently located on the Marion/Mullins bypass to Myrtle Beach, SC. The exterior is kept neat and clean, the AM breakfast is adequate, the room is clean and the staff were excellent during my stay, July 24-27, room 108. The facility is listed at a 2.5 rating; it is about 40 yrs old now and could use some updating. It also has a faint smell of cigarettes in the carpeted room; even though there is a posting on the front door, smokers did linger close to the entrance. Hopefully, the owners will do a refresh during the fall and winter months to be ready for the spring/summer travelers.

The Quality Inn in Marion, SC was where we needed to stay. The property is older and bordering on run-down, but the folks working there were all friendly and professional. Our king sized bed was really comfortable and the sheets felt clean and newer. The mini fridge was barely cold, but there were tons of TV channels to watch (including several HBO). The AC worked great! I guess this is sort of what we expected, so it was a good stay.

We came to Mullins for business and had rented two rooms, we needed early check in and Jalisa was amazing! She made sure we had everything and went above & beyond for me and my staff during our stay. This was a super convenient location because the venue was only 13 mins away. Our rooms were well conditioned and rates were reasonable. Breakfast was great and the attendant was extremely hospitable. Would definitely recommend and also book again!

Nicole, the front desk agent is a superstar! I have to acknowledge the breakfast crew on Monday Especially Miss Nancy, who normally does laundry. My room 121, smelled horrible. Everything is old and in bad shape, toilet seat was horrible! The TV remote was being held together with tape and it was not working. Entire hotel has one ice machine and it is in the lobby. The only drink machine in the place was out of order and the juice dispenser was out of order during the breakfast service. I booked through a third party so I got a little bit of a discount but had I booked directly through the hotel the room price was $113 I paid $105/night plus taxes/fees. I feel like this is severely overpriced for the hotel but it is the ONLY hotel in Marion,SC. However I would not recommend the hotel and I would not stay at the hotel again, because it is not up to the standards of choice hotels or other hotels. I would rather stay 30-45 minutes away from Marion then to pay the ridiculous price for such poor quality. Upgrade the hotel if you want to charge what other hotels are charging then offer the same quality!

Broken bathroom door that had been forced open so knob to enter was sketchy. Air conditioner leaks water into carpet beside unit below window. Carpet was wet with visible large stain.
