Construction noise all day due to replacing sliding doors. They add all kinds of charges like state & local taxes on Room Charge; Fees added to daily Room Charge (what does Fee cover?); $40 daily Resort Fee + State & County Taxes (what does it cover?); and a $20 a Day Self-Parking Fee + Parking Sales Tax. Outrageous!! No breakfast included. Not one free alcoholic drink per person at bar. Nothing luxury about it at all. Just a clean and slightly upgraded version of a Hilton or Marriott.

Currently under renovation. Should be posted on website that very loud work is being performed all day, inside of the building, from about 9am to 4/5 pm. You can hear the work (sounds like drilling) through almost all of the floors, but especially loud within 5 floors of the work. The staff were fantastic about trying to work with guests to try to help deal with the situation.

I thought the staff was friendly. I appreciated the different locations in the hotel to eat. The golf cart that takes you to the beach was readily available. I also enjoyed the adult pool.

The pool slide and shallow area was great for families with young kids. The trams to the beach ran frequent enough we were never waiting too long. For summer, you want an even number room ending 02 - 10 to see sunsets from balcony. At least once during your stay, reserve a cabana bed on the beach. They take such good care of you on the beach. The sunsets are amazing! But right after, be sure to get in line for the trams back to the hotel as they only run a handful before stopping and you have to walk the 3/4 a mile boardwalk in darkness.

Food by the pool and inside near the lobby were both very good. The room was comfortable and had a nice view from the balcony. It was a little noisy above us with drilling or construction bc I guess renovating. Other than that, we had fun and the kids enjoyed the waterslide by pool.

It is a nice hotel. Rooms are not very modern, but they are clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice, pool is great, not many food options but the ones available are good, and the although the beach is not right in front the hotel has a good tram system in place to take guests to and from the beach to the hotel.

An excellent hotel. Very nice team. The food was delicious. The spa was amazing, as well as the entertainment areas of the hotel. The bad thing is that they were doing maintenance work since 8 in the morning and it was a little annoying, especially if you stayed in the room.

Very dated and smelled of mildew. There were any cotton balls, or q tips. No robes or slippers. There was loud construction going on every morning beginning at 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.

This is the 4th year staying at this resort, with exception of last year. This time though it was very disappointing. I was allowed early check in for my birthday and was told complimentary room upgrade. The room was completely run down. There were holes in the bathroom wall. Rods missing and the shower head didn't work properly, lights not working properly. They switched our room, and wasn't any better. The shower drain was not working gather water while showering, it was disgusting and you could hear the water on the opposite sink when turning on the water and also in the shower .

I have stayed there few times and have always rated this hotel above average until this last stay...came in to a room that had multiple pubic hairs in bathroom..gross and a ladys hair pin on the night stand which i left it there for you...the staff wasn't as friendly and outgoing as in past stays like they weren't Going to go the extra mile..will think twice about staying there again.

The outdoor areas were all great as they always are. I have stayed here many times over the years and it is always a great time. The walk to the beach is great and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself while clean could use some updating. It has been a few years since we stayed here last and I could tell it could use updating. Mostly new carpet would help in the halls and even the rooms. The rooms were very clean which is a must for me. This is a great place for families.

Horrible. Not even close to the experience I thought I was going to have. I cleaned my own room. It was so dirty. There is mould in the bathroom. The towels were marked with blood and black. I asked for new pillowcases they came with holes and black marks as well. The toilet ran for a minute and a half every time you flushed it then it overflowed for no reason. The whole experience was a total joke.

This property has a beautiful location. We loved walking/ riding the boardwalk to the beach. The pool was nice and the waterslide kept the kids busy. However, our bathroom in our room was dirty. My son lifted the toilet seat and there was urine & hair under it. Also, (I know it’s Florida) but a roach was behind the trash can. Reported to the resort and they avoided my call numerous times & denied compensation. Never again!

Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are fair and outdated. Our room had night stands with buckled wood on top. Corridor smelt of mildew which might have came from ice machine which was right behind our room. Very very thin walls we listened to the ice machine all night, heard alarms from our next door neighbor go off at 530am. Was shocked by the smell of the shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Horrible smell. Also hand soap smelt bad. However soap in bathrooms in lobby and at pools were a clean scent; totally different product. For the price of rooms we were disappointed 😕

We absolutely love the Grand and we have been visiting annually for the past 6 years. The location, the staff, and the proximity to the beach is perfect. But over the past few visit the rooms and some common areas of the property are feeling dated and worn. We hope they make some up dates to make this property shine

We had a good time overall. The hotel is nice and met our expectations for the price — clean room, comfortable beds, and good service. However, two things really affected our experience. First, the construction noise. We live in Miami and came to Naples to relax, but every morning around 8:00 a.m., loud banging and machinery started right above our room. We were in room 807, and it felt like a full renovation was happening upstairs. Even on the weekend, it didn’t stop. We called the front desk and were told it was scheduled work. We understand that maintenance is needed, but guests should be informed about construction before booking. Second, the beach shower was broken. This was a big deal for me, as I like spending the day at the beach but need a way to rinse off the sand before heading back. I asked a staff member, and he said it had been out of service. I also reported it to the front desk, but it wasn’t fixed during our stay. For a hotel that charges resort fees, things like a working beach shower should be maintained. We still enjoyed the pool and made the best of our trip, but these issues definitely took away from what could have been a more relaxing experience.

Most of the electric plugs didn't work. One of the light switches by the door controlled power to the TV and would turn it off if switched. Shower control was either extremely hot or cold. It was hard to adjust. There was two balconies, but no furniture on the second one. Whole room needed updating.

Booked a signature gulf view suite for 5 nights and although the size was as expected, the suite was very dated. The photos most likely were from many years ago. No plants on the balcony, paint peeling on the floor, no reclining lounge chairs like in the photos. there is about a 12 plus inch step down from the balcony into the rooms floor, this is such a fall hazard so I don’t know how people haven’t fallen and been seriously hurt.Also, there are no handles or grip on the tub /shower so another big fall hazard stepping in and out of the tub/shower. You have to hold onto the wall and step down another foot or more to the floor. We called room service TWICE asking for our robes that we were told came with our room and an extra blanket and no one ever came. They were upgrading their computers so check in was very chaotic and the staff was pretty frustrated so none of the amenities were explained to us. We didn’t know bikes, kayaks or paddle boards were free. There was also a loud banging from construction on our floor beginning at 8am lasting through out the day the whole time we were there. There was also a bunch of trash piled up from maintaince outside our door. The lights flashed in the bathroom We were never asked how our stay was by anyone and the desk staff seemed put out when asked again for the robes to be sent to our room that still never came. At check out, they took our keys and we couldn’t get out of the parking garage. No mention of needing them.

Disappointing Stay. We stayed in one of the most expensive rooms at the Naples Grand Beach Resort, and while the balcony views of the Gulf and the intercoastal were truly stunning, the overall hotel experience left a lot to be desired. The room itself was likely impressive 30 years ago, but today it feels extremely dated. The furniture and carpet are worn and tired, and there are signs of corrosion and rust throughout the bathroom—particularly around metal plates and fixtures. Functional issues were also a problem: the bathtub didn’t drain properly, the toilet didn’t flush reliably, and the sinks made loud gurgling noises that were disruptive. Dining options were similarly underwhelming. The restaurant menus lacked variety or creativity, and the quality of the food left much to be desired. The breakfast buffet had a decent range of options. Finally, while the hotel has a large staff presence, many seemed to lack basic hospitality training. They weren’t rude, but there was little sense of attentiveness or friendliness. Overall, this hotel relies too heavily on its location and views, rather than maintaining the standard of upkeep that travelers expect. I would not recommend staying here until significant renovations are made.

Nice hotel, but water pressure in the shower was horribly low. That was the worst part of the 4 night stay. Ending the day with a wimpy shower isn’t my idea of a great hotel experience! Nice bars and dining options.

Second time we have rented here and the check in is terrible. We got there at 9am and requested a room on the same floor as the party we were traveling with. At 4:10pm they had still not assigned us a room! We complained and then they finally gave us a room, and of course not on the same floor. Terrible check in process not sure what’s going on but they can never get it right or done quickly. Expect to wait! There were people complaining at the front desk the entire day. It’s a shame

The property is very nice. I would stay there again. The problem was when the front desk checked us in they assigned us to a room that was occupied. My two sons walked into a room with someone in their bathroom. The hotel manager and front desk then refused to admit any fault and blamed it on house keeping. Then they gave us a room that was not the upgrade I paid for. Worse view and lower floor. I paid for a double balcony and ocean view. Pretty disappointing.

Arrived and was told they did not have the capability to charge my electric car, was told they only have Tesla chargers and they don’t have any adapters. They recommended I drive to Walmart 20 minutes away to charge. Was also told that valet will not park or charge the vehicle and it would be self parking for that service. I explained that I called prior to booking to confirm if they had the charging abilities for my specific model of car. I was told by that person on the phone of course we can do any car and you just take it to the valet and they handle everything for you. I ultimately had to order an adapter from Amazon have it shipped to the hotel the next day and then go down and charge my car. The charging at the hotel even went down that evening and did not complete the charge. Food was good at the resort, service was lacking. Valet were not friendly and was also told at the pool that they ran out of sunscreen and I needed to walk back upstairs into the gift shop to purchase. Was expecting more for this level of hotel. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is nice although it’s a bit dated. The food at the restaurant was not bad. The beach is beautiful BUT the shuttle was a nightmare when coming back to the hotel. We had to make a long line under the sun with our baby and waited at least 40 min to come back because the shuttle has public access and guests don’t have preference. We couldn’t enjoy the pool because it was too crowded. I was wondering how clean that water could be with so many people in there. The rest was fine and I would recommend it to anyone.

The biggest disadvantage is moving to the beach on the weekends. Hotel guest do not have any priority for the golf carts coming and going and you have to make a really long line to come back from the beach. There are no rules in the beach so there are people fishing next to you (dangerous), anyone can take the hotel umbrellas, people put loud music. The hotel overall is okay, the staff is really friendly except for the manager that is in charge on Saturdays. She wasn't polite at all. As a travel agent I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my clients. We also had issues with our bedroom AC, in this case they were willing to solve it and they provided another room.

Good amenities including 2 nice pools. The walk or tram to the beach was easy. Property a little dated including the rooms but lobby and outdoor areas were quite nice. Access to Bayshore and 5th avenue was an easy drive or uber away. Good walking available through beautiful neighborhoods.

Loved this experience. Really great for a honey moon very romantic / on beach / watching sunset from room. Heads up the breakfast sucked. That’s my biggest complaint - it took forever and was super overpriced. Skip their breakfast and get true foods kitchen or something around that’s actually really good … i wish I door dashed true food or something to hotel because breakfast was not good. Besides that everything else was really wonderful I miss the pool!!!!

The property was beautiful, just a short walk to the beach. Pool area was well kept. Check in and hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We ate at the pool and the beach restaurants - not only was the staff unfriendly and inattentive at both, the food was poor. We didn’t take a chance with the other restaurants- we ate off the property for dinner.
