The hotel lobby and exterior, breakfast pool and surroundings were excellent...until you get inside buildings with rooms. Yes the rooms are tired and dated but I can live with that if clean. Not clean enough for what we paid. At least the bed was clean and comfy and we slept well. Laundry facilities was convenient and cheap ($2/load). Overall I would not stay here again due to the unclean room (stained sofas, carpets), and an overwhelming smell of chemicals throughout the room and hallways. Not sure what that was but I couldn't wait to check out!

The room is big and comfortable, with a kitchen , dining table, sofa and a nice desk to work. They have a nice pool and quite good breakfast. The only con: the gym does not have a sitting bicycle as shown in the pictures, just a spinning Peloton not connected to the Internet, which makes it not too useful

Smoking chairs and urn next to Door 4 when the sign says no smoking within 25 feet. Breakfast was the same everyday. Waffles, waffles, waffles. Back door didn\'t latch when closed. "free" gift for Bonvoy members was a bottle of water?

Everything was do clean and so nice. The breakfast was amazing. It's minutes from the beach. The room had everything I needed. The supplied a free crib for our 9 month old baby. And the hot tub was just what we needed to end the day relaxed.

The property was dated. There were spots on all the walls, lamp shades, sheets and carpet. The room had a funky smell. The wall paper was peeling and the shower curtain was broken. It didn’t meet the standards of other Marriott Residence Inn properties.

The room we were given had a construction fan blowing on the WET carpet in the living room. The room smelled of mildew and it hit you as soon as you opened the door. When I asked the staff about it I was told “water comes inside the room when it rains and it rained the other day.” They were still trying to dry the room/ carpet out and forgot to grab the fan out before putting us in the room. I was told I could turn the fan off and someone would pick it up the next day. There is no doubt in my mind that there was mold in that room. It was not a safe environment for my baby to be in. When I told them why I was leaving early they were not surprised by it at all.

Rooms are nice. Was disappointed that the suites advertised a full kitchen with stove and oven. However that is not the case. Has only a 2 burner stove top. Small sink and a smaller fullsize fridge. Air conditioner unit in bedroom is extremely loud and was leaking and carpet was soaked all the way to the bed. Maintenance came in and tried sopping up the water with a carpet cleaner and a lg very loud fan. Other than that the hotel was nice. Breakfasts are extremely repetitive. Same thing most mornings. Personally I expected a bit more for the price. But i was greatful to not be at an extended stay of another kind. Everyone at front desk was very nice and helpful at all times. Good stay.

I agree that it’s a little bit old and could be renovated. One of the shower was broken but maintenance fixed it quickly. Room was clean and kitchen had all the fixtures. Breakfast was great and pool was clean. Room was quiet, but unfortunately there is a construction happening next to the hotel, so it can be noisy sometimes.

Not great or the same as other residence inns. We booked a two bedroom suite, in other residence inns this normally includes one room with a king and the other room with two doubles. Not here.. the rooms are small and dark and consisted of each room having only one double.. leaving an adult and a child having to sleep on the most uncomfy sofa bed ever. When you walk into the room block you are hit with an over powering smell of fragrance, one that triggered my asthma. When that smell wasn’t there it stank of wet dog. It’s become apparent that allowing cats and dogs to stay at the hotel is their main priority. There is cat hair in the pool and dog poo everywhere.. I bought the poo up to two different members of staff and nothing was done about it. We also had a gas fire left on which thankfully I spotted.. even though we were told they had all been tapped off.

Property is in need of a face lift. Mattress was uncomfortable, basic utilitarian look. Breakfast included was awesome though, nice variety. Staff was accommodating. Location is convenient for shopping, traveling, dining. Not too far from 5th Avenue shopping district.

Great location. Close to beach, shopping and nightlife. Rooms need updates ( carpet etc smelled musty). I was assured the property is being completely renovated this off season so I will definitely go back.

We found staff to be friendly and helpful. Location is great for dining and entertainment. Kitchen is modern and useful. While modern and esthetically pleasing to the eye, the living space is not particularly functional. Stools at the dining table wobble. Couch is awkward for sitting. Shower had a hair wad in the drain catch. There are no towel bars/racks to hang towels. The shower could use a shelf to hold toweltries. Don't get a room that faces the railway. Cannot say it was worth the money in spite of the good staff. Rate it 2-3 out of 5 in value.

I always prefer to stary in a marriot hotel but This time the experience at the check in was not a good experience. The lady was upset and very rudely answer my questions she had very poor communication for a cuatomer service front desk person and the Way that she answers not professional at all It was 1/4 /2025 chexk in around 7 pm

It was ok but the reception staff were rude and unprofessional.they barely smile and the evening lady was always a mad.how she talks .how she slaps the doors . the chairs around the patio and the pool .like she wants to fight and break stuff .i went there the last year and the staff was very nice and professional and sweat .unlike this year .
