Toilet didn't work. Hot tub was filthy and tiny. Was put in a terrible room that had a back door access area where staff was running in and out. Room was also Right behind breakfast bar and was very noisy in the morning. No windows. Won't stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is currently hosting CalFire crews, so parking was tight when we arrived late at night around 10 p.m. Thankfully, the young man at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we could find a spot. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, which really made all the difference. The continental breakfast was excellent, and our suite was very clean. The only downside was that while the air conditioning was great in the living room area of the suite, the bedroom stayed much warmer, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Overall, it was a great, and that one staff member’s hospitality really stood out and set the tone for our stay.

It just a great spot, the breakfast, the service, the conveince. Beware of the parking though. That parking garage they use is roughhhh if you’re not back early enough. The spots are like meant for a motorcycle

We had a very bad experience. There was no parking, we had to park on street and had to remove it by 6 am from there! I expect the hotel should have parking of itself or at the least a lot nearby. There was nothing. The staff itself didn't have any parking. The do provide breakfast but 6:30-8:30 am. If I'm on a vacation, why would I want to be up so early for bf?

Great value - room was clean and common/dining area was big with lots of seating. Our room layout worked for us. Room has a sitting area with a small couch and TV on one end, and two queens on the other, separated by a bathroom. It gave just enough separation for my kids to have their own space in the room. Breakfast was good, I appreciated the eggs, potatoes & sausage/bacon, along with the usual continental. Coffee machine offered espresso drinks, which were better than expected. Only drawbacks were lack of windows since we had an interior room, and the hot tub was closed for maintenance. It looked like it had not been operating for a while, with tarps laying around, but who knows. My kids were looking forward to the hot tub so that was a bummer.

Bathrooms need updating, reception area very muggy, overall room was a good size, found hair on the beds, sheets and blankets had stains on them that probably should have been thrown away. Good location. Not too far from boardwalk, food, and gas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was average and got the job done.

The tub was filthy with someone else’s hair around the tub. The vents for the A/C was filled with lint and was sticking out causing the dirt to blow into the room. Yuck

It was so hard to sleep, you hear footsteps from the rooms upstairs and each time the rooms next to us shut their doors closed. They could’ve made the rooms sound proof. Very limited parking and not the cleanest. You see molds in the tub.

If you are looking for a place to just quickly spend the night this is fine. However, I had multiple issues with cleanliness. The first day we arrived the bathroom had random hairs and water all over the floor. When asked to clean it, house cleaning couldn’t come until the next day. The duvet cover had old dried up blood on it as well. The ac worked and the location was great but I wouldn’t come back.

The cleanliness of the room wasn’t great lest but not like horrible either! There was hair on the floors and seat of toilet and the tub and something spilled in the closet. Looked like the shower head was a little moldy. However it wouldn’t deter me from staying again. It was located to lots of places to eat and buy drinks.

The hotel itself was okay. We had to switch rooms three times, the first two rooms we walked in on the house keepers still cleaning the room and they were not the friendliest at all. After going back and forth between rooms, we finally were able to get into a room. The room looked fine at first until walking into the bathroom… There was long clumps of brown hair in the shower and sink, someone’s used contacts on the floor, and to top it off the towels had blood on them. Then after all the waiting and moving around a hot tub sounded the best, until we got in and it was freezing cold urggg!!!! Was not very impressed with the cleanliness aspect of the hotel. The best thing the hotel has is Samantha at the front desk! She was really nice and very helpful. She did her best to help us and was so understanding about everything.

There was a sensor light in our room that would not turn off. It went off a couple of times during the night and woke up my kids. We asked for a crib/play pen for my 1 year old to sleep in, and the “mattress” was 4 pieces of wood that would slide on top of each other. I had to put down 2 pillows so that she wouldn’t end up sleeping on the hard rods at the base.

Please replace items if less than a quarter bottle left as it is very inconvenient to run out in the middle of wash up. Amenities-hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and Kleenex all ran out by 2nd day. No hand soap in powder bath. Room was very nice but noise reducing windows would be helpful for rooms with street side facing windows as that noise was vey loud and disturbing. 2nd coffee maker would be appreciated as there was always a 2-4 person wait and frustrating for those who just wanted hot water for oatmeal or plain coffee. Did enjoy the specialty coffee offerings.

Modern facility, good lobby amenities, very good hot breakfast and free parking. Downtown CA coast city neighborhood - comfortable walking in the day but less so at night. The room was clean and spacious but a poor place to do anything but sleep. A single chair and a small table uncomfortable for reading. TV was mounted in corner and awkward to view from the bed. Overhead canister lights and bedside lights had too-bright bulbs that made room feel like a dental office.

The check in was delayed for an hour and half. They didn’t make the room even that I requested it in advance. The two tv monitors in the room weren’t working. Staff promising that those things were going to be fixed during the stay and the room cleaned and none of that happened. The area were the hotel is located is sketchy.

Overall was a great stay! My partner and I enjoyed the breakfast provided each morning and were very pleased with the stay. The only downside was our second night as we came back from the boardwalk, there was ABSOLUTELY no parking. We called front office and were met with what sounded like an annoyed teenage boy who had zero customer service skills. We had to park down the street and walk up to our hotel and as we walked in to speak with front desk a woman was behind the desk who immediately said “I don’t work here! But don’t worry I can help you two out.” She even said the worker would be back in a second. We were very weirded out by this and instead went up to our room. That was probably the only incident we had there.

We checked in on 7/2/23 at around 6 pm. When we got into our room, there were no pillows on our bed at all and there were pillow cases on the floor. There were also no toiletries in the bathroom. We called the receptionist and they told us that they will bring it to us. We called several times and no one came. Finally around 8 pm my husband went down to get our toiletries which they earlier told us that they will bring to our room. We also found out that there were no more pillows for us to use. They told us that some of the guest asked for more pillows. We are on a vacation with 2 small kids and we drove almost 8 hrs. All we want on our first night is to have a good night rest. We paid in full for a Suite Room with 1 King Bed for 3 nights which clearly states that pillows were included in the room. It was past 10 PM already when they were able to find 2 small pillows for a family of four to use. What a terrible way to start our vacation.

When we checked in we went to our assigned room and the room was not cleaned at all from the previous guest. We waited in the room after telling the housekeeping manager for 25 minutes then a housekeeper got to cleaning and our room was ready in around 35 minutes. We then left the hotel for an event we were attending upon returning there wasn’t any parking spaces in the parking garage that we paid for so we had to park about a quarter mile down the street, we then asked the front desk if the manager could call us in the morning so we could get a refund for the parking he chuckled and said okay and we never got a call in the morning. After breakfast we then asked the front desk for a refund on the parking and he said okay no problem, I asked him again if the parking was refunded and he said yes it was. When we got back home we checked the bill and the parking fee was still charged. We weren’t trying to make a big deal of the situation but the lack of care from management was surprising. The housekeeper who cleaned our room was apologetic and did her job, even tho it was not her mistake.

Communication could improve. We arrived and requested for a crib. They said they would deliver it to our room. Few hours later (past baby's bedtime) we called to check status and they told us no crib is available. I totally understand that the crib was not available but I think guests would appreciate the update. Overall stay was nice. Good breakfast, clean, good size room and well maintained hotel.

When I informed the staff about it, I was told that it was a rescue dog, and apparently I would have to move if I didnt like the barking. After contacting the staff again about the barking dog, she finally contacted the owner who kept the dog quiet. The breakfast didnt have enough qaulity choices.

It was more updated on the interior. I didn’t like the chlorine smell in my room. All of the staff were really polite and courteous. There were a few people in line to complain and they handled all of them successfully, I decided to just keep my complaint to myself. I like the convenience of being less than 10 mins away from the beach.

This is in a nice location. The room was nice and large and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was as bit of a disappointment . Only open 630 to 830 which meant every one was there and it was busy. No yogurt fruit etc all carbs. Not great at all. Also our room was by the breakfast area and from 730 all we could hear was the beeping if the very over used waffle machines. Constant beeping. Not sure I would stay again.

I expected more from here. The hotel was clean, spacious and didn’t have those nasty carpets. However, The automatic lights were terrible. Especially at night when you use the restroom and then want to wash your hands. It just automatically turns on waking everyone up. That was annoying. Also, the food was blah. The coffee was good and the dispenser was pretty cool. Also, there was a fee for parking. But the hotel says they are not responsible for the car or damage. So then what is the point of the parking fee? I would probably return if I didn’t find anything else.

The breakfast was extremely sub par in comparison to our previous stays at other hotels in this chain and their advertised pool area was a huge disappointment for me and my kids. The beds were just ok. The only plus was proximity to the beach.
