Nice quiet and friendly property about 10-12 min from Newport aquarium and 15-20 from downtown Cincy. Indoor pool open until 11pm and was never crowded. We were the only one there majority of the time. The breakfast was decent. Eggs, bacon, yogurt, pastries, fresh waffles and waffle maker, fruit, juices like apple and orange juice and an assortment of cereals. Movie theatre, Dairy Queen and Thortons all in walking distance.

Great hotel and decently priced. Continental breakfast was delicious. Pool was on the smaller side but very clean and the bleach smell wasn't strong. Wish they had a hot tub. Workers were friendly and helpful. No complaints!

This hotel is consistently above & beyond expectations for it's "star rating" and price point. We intentionally re-target & re-stay here while visiting Cincinnati, The Creation Museum, Newport, The Cincy Zoo, Newport Aquarium, etc. It's conveniently located on the Interstate and also "just far enough" away from the metropolis centers that you're not covered in traffic when you want to go out for dinner. There's a theater and pizza restaurant next door, a few local brewery / restaurants within 5 minutes and the entire area is clean, safe & quiet. Bonus points for how convenient and clean the indoor pool is for our kids. Thanks for keeping up a standard that we look forward to a few times per year.

We did not like the very heavy smoke smell of marijauna in the hall on the third floor during our stay! Third floor in general was tired and dirty looking.

Nice place to stay. We opted to stay a second night instead of moving to a different place. My only issue was when we pulled the shower curtain back, there was a glob of hair on it. Otherwise was good place to stay.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a safe area that is still close to downtown Newport. The hotel is very dated and really needs an upgrade. There were stains all over the carpet and several damaged spots on the walls. There was a big stain on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the chair in the room looked nasty. The walls were paper thin and I could hear everything going on in the room next to mine, making it hard to sleep. The bathroom was poorly stocked with only one towel and a few wash cloths. I will most likely not be staying at this place again.

We liked our stay. The room was clean and smelled nice. The hallway did not smell so nice it was not pleasant walking to our room. I reported it to the front desk. They were very responsive and corrected the problem while we slept. By morning the hallway was smelling much better.

The bathroom was uncharacteristically NOT particularly clean! There was a hair on the toilet seat and in the tub. It was an accessible room,but there was no place for me to hang my dress. There was not enough drawer space for my clothes and the shelf above the “closet” where I stored my sweaters was very dusty. As always,the beds were comfy and the front desk people were friendly and helpful.

Bed and pillows were very cozy and clean. With that said, like most hotels cleaniness is hard to achieve due most likely to the turn over time. The bed frame at the head of the frame had not been vacuumed in some time. Hair, dust and other unidentifiable stuff lay in the crevices. Also along the wall behind the night stand was some unidentified white crusty stuff that i just ignored but creeped me out. Truly, other than that the room and facilities were great.

We stay here often, but our first floor room was noisier than desired. We could hear the water running above us from toilets and shower, which we don’t hear when on an upper floor. Our toilet seat was broken and it took two requests during our 6-night stay before we got it replaced. Other than that, everything was fine.

This is really a good 2 star property, meaning that while it is clean, beds were nice, and therefore a good property, it doesn’t compare to nicer hotel brands. The room was musty. And the worst part was the AC unit. It was so loud. If the unit was on it was freezing. When the unit was off it would get hot. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise of the AC. The overall condition was fine if you set your expectations lower.

We really loved the room. It had a sleeper sofa and chair with tv in one area and the 2 queen bed were in another area with tv. Lockable door separated the 2 areas. 2 closets for anything we wanted to hang. Very enjoyable stay.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the location, breakfast, and the room. The bed is kind of hard but expected when you stay away from home. Everything was clean. I would suggest that they replace the toilet seat in the room. It is due for a new replacement.

The room was wonderful and the shower hot! Loved the coziness of the bed. The only negative about the room is it was facing a huge building that was less than 20 feet away. Nothing but a metal wall for the view but the worst thing is the security light on it shines towards the hotel seeping in at the bottom of the curtains. We had to find a way to block out the light. The breakfast was really good both mornings we were there. Also, only service animals are allowed. Perfect for me!!

Diamond in the rough. 2 newer hotels right across the highway. I've now stayed at all three and can say we were happiest with this one. Comfortable beds, good wifi, plenty of hot water. Morning breakfast even had bacon! Will definitely be staying there again

The toilet seat in our room was loose and when my son sat on it the seat went sideways and broke. I notified the front desk and the staff were courteous and willing to take care of it right away. Great staff!

I actually was not able to make my stay because my car broke down. It was just a one night stay for a concert but when I called to explain my situation, I was met with a very rude attitude and was cut off several times when I tried to talk. I wasnt even asking for my full refund, but the person on the other end of the phone wouldnt even give me an opportunity. I even offered to fax or email them the paperwork showing that my car had been put in the shop. It had three separate leaks and needed a new water pump. I am someone who hardly EVER misses my planned trips. I was very disappointed with the customer service and the way the situation was handled.

Had to call the COPS at 3AM to break up a 2 hour SUPER loud patio party going on under our 2nd floor windows and the smell of w**d from the group of 6-10 people was permeating our room... smoke free facility, yeah right. Did not feel at ease due to all the shouting and carrying on, kids were scared wide awake. Front desk did nothing after noise complaints (but they were already aware as the patio is right across from the lobby). Terrible, no sleep, no apologies, would never recommend this hotel due to lack of commitment to policy or decency.

Overal, this is was a nice place to stay however I booked a room with a jetted tub. I really looked forward to utilizing it to relax and unwind during my solo trip. When I turned on the jets little black bugs shot out into the water. I immediately got out and just utilized the regular tub. In the morning upon check out, I let them know the issue and that they may want to do a more thorough job of ensuring those jets were flushed and cleaned properly. I was not looking for a free room or refund, but they also didn't really seem to care or offer any solution either.

The hotel was close to interstate roads. There were several places to eat nearby, one an excellent Indian restaurant. The carpet in the hallways was old and shabby. On the 2nd floor there were stains on the carpet. The floor of the elevator was unswept; the rug, unvacuumed. Breakfast had eggs that I suspect were reconstituted dried product. As I have a gluten allergy, I could not eat them fearing they might not be gluten-free. There were no other gluten-free, nor any dairy-free, options. This is unacceptable in a time when more and more people require allergen-free foods.

Next door is a movie theater, Mellow mushroom and Dairy Queen were in walking distance. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was decent Expedia charged a lot more than I could have paid with booking direct with the motel, That was a little upsetting

During our stay there was a college baseball team and 2 high school bands staying also. The breakfast room didn’t seem to be stocked well enough for the growing young adult appetites. Fresh fruit and yogurt supplies were very quickly depleted and not replenished. There was inadequate drawer and closet space in our room.
