It was very close to interstate #95. My room was clean and updated. Nice smell of shampoo and soap. Disappointed that the swimming pool was not open.

We chose this motel for it's closeness to Mohegan Sun and we really wanted an outdoor pool for our weekend in August. The pool was great! Unexpected it was salt water which made us very happy. The pool was quiet, at most a dozen guests, and the water temp was perfect. The motel provided a continental breakfast which was just enough. Will definitely go back

This was a great place to stay for a night and made it a lot cheaper to get to Mohegan sun. The pool was lovely!! Nice early morning dip. I would just say please get more pool umbrellas and pave a way to the pool with the lawn mower or sand/rocks. Owners very friendly, thank you!

Parking was easy. Location was good- quite near restaurants and shopping. Close to highway. Rooms neat and clean. Beds were a bit high .

Breakfast could be better with a few more options. Pool hours could have started earlier and gone later into the evening. A few more pool umbrellas would have been nice too. The pool was nice and clean though, a real treat.

The room was clean but had a musty smell. Our window was directly across the stairwell and a facilities closet. This caused us to have a poor view of the outside aera.

Extremely dirty. I found a hearing aid on the floor when I stepped on it. A lot of hair stuck to the shower wall. Room door was very hard to shut. For the price, I would look elsewhere.

Of all my research, this was the most affordable and cleanest lodging. I will stay here the next time I visit my sibling at Connecticut College too. I will say to bring your shower shoes and don't walk barefoot (just in general, the place was clean just old), and the room smelled heavily of perfume or strongly scented cleaning product. I was able to air it out by opening the windows. Also, the AC made the room feel uncomfortably damp, so I got by with the window open or it being cold enough at night to keep my window shut. There was a kitchenette, but no pan, sponge, plates, or silverware, etc. Microwave and mini fridge were very helpful. Location was near a Target, Walmart, McDonalds, Texas Roadhouse, and the highways.

The air conditioner filter was so dirty and disgusting that I have a sore throat now from using it even though I cleaned it myself. The manager, or whoever he was, threatened me and said he was going to keep my deposit because he accused me of smoking in the room when I don’t even smoke. He doesn’t speak English very well, really at all and him and the housekeeper were very rude to me. The location was great and it was mostly quiet besides the noise from the highway but the staff totally ruined my stay and I would NEVER recommend that anyone go there and I’d never stay there again!!!

I found the staff very friendly and accommodating. I had to communicate with them a few times before I checked in and they were extremely helpful. The room itself was very clean but a little outdated. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The pool was beautiful. All in all, a great place to stay for a great price. Quiet and we all felt very safe.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious, looks like it was recently renovated. The pool was open for our visit and very clean and great size! Would definitely come back!

We checked in late and the woman was friendly enough although hard to understand. The room was spacious and comfortable for the most part. Surprised by the kitchenette. The bathroom was clean but very small and one side of the bed if you roll out of just right your in the bathroom.

One of the two beds was not stable…it wobbled. One bed was six inches away from the air conditioner and the two beds were only about 18 inches apart. The advertising said breakfast….it was a continental breakfast! It definitely wasn’t worth $205. For the night.

Pretty easy check in. The clerk was behind a large glass window with a small opening at the bottom of it. It was difficult to hear thru the window. The room was spacious and clean. The one issue I had with the room was the TV. The volume was at 100% but I could barley hear it. That made it difficult to watch any television. Parking was plentiful. There wasn't any eating places nearby. Overall. it was still a pleasant one night stay!

The hotel was very convenient for going to Mohegan Sun for an event. The room was large and clean and the beds were the MOST comfortable beds. Room had everything you'd need, including the microwave, fridge, working AC, and extra pillows and blankets. Only down side (which was not really an issue) is that the vanity was made so big that it's RIGHT next to the toilet and so it was a little squished to use it. Wish the pool had been open since it was gorgeous out!

The property is fine but check in was tedious. I had prepaid via Expedia but check in still took about 10 minutes

I return to this hotel because it is dependably welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The staff is terrific and kind. They are patient and always go above and beyond. I will return.

Older property but well-maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Parking was plentiful, and the location was convenient.

I booked and paid for 2 rooms because my cousin and I were arriving at different times. The office staff was unclear on the reservation saying it was only in my name then finally figured it out. She was difficult to understand not speaking clearly nor loud enough to hear over the blaring loud tv and AC unit. After I checked in I wanted to make sure all my cousin needs to do was check in with her ID since I’d already taken care of the room fees and $50 damage deposit. She confirmed that she would just need to check in. We stayed in upper level rooms. The parking behind the building was sketchy at best, it was much nicer in the front. The stairways were dirty and dark and full of flies as was the landing where the rooms were to the point that when we opened the door to the room flies got inside! There were only 2 towels in the bathroom and a musty smell inside with a ratty looking chair that did not look inviting to sit on. The day after we got home I got a text from my cousin asking if they charged me for both rooms because they charged her a $50 charge and a $200 charge. After confirming that I did get charged the rate for both rooms, I sent a message to the hotel demanding they refund her that fee. My cousin also called the hotel where they informed her that the $200 charge was not the room rate fee. They charged her because they are accusing her of smoking in the room. She argued that was not the case but tgey refused to listen. This is outrageous! Travelers beware!

This Hotel was absolutely perfect!! Was nervous with some bad reviews, but just checking in you could tell how clean and well kept the place is. Our room was clean and spacious, we had a clogged sink, and called front desk. They showed up 3 min later and fixed the problem immediatly!! Through the night our toilet clogged, which was bad, but all in all, it was a great stay. They were friendly and prompt with fixing our sink. I would highly recommend staying here, great place!!!!

Very comfortable stay. Was pleasantly surprised to find a kitchen in our room and continental breakfast in the lobby. Very conveniently located right off Route 95.

Went up to see a Connecticut Sun game & Brad Paisley concert at Mohegan Sun. Didn't want to spend $500 a night. This was about a 10 minute ride to casino. Nice & clean. Friendly staff. Simple but perfect. About 10-15 minute ride to Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport & downtown Mystic. (Highly recommend Mystic Pizza then walk down to Mystic Drawbridge Ice Cream).

This is the typical family-run hotel with only one person working and minimal amenities. This property rates well only after the first-tier properties are weeded out. This hotel is clean and in decent condition. Negative is, there is nothing nearby except Walmart. After that, it’s fifteen minutes of driving to eat. I’d still stay here again if no first-tier hotels were available.

Convenient location, just off the highway. Very clean, quiet, and safe. Highly recommend.

My friend and I went to see Billy Joel at Mohegan Sun (15 minutes away).Check in & out were a breeze. Room was very clean, it had a kitchenette which we did not use but looked to be brand new. The place was even right off the highway! For 80 bucks on a Saturday night, I don't think we could've gotten better than this!

I drove past it several times at first because it didn't look open. The pastries, coffee and orange juice were a nice offer, but the pastries were pathetic, better bought in grocery store (where they could have been bought).

The people at the front desk were friendly and the room was decently clean. The beds were very hard. There is no longer an exercise room, even though it’s still in the hotel guide. The pool is small, but nice. I don’t think anyone checks it during the day, so I had to fish out insects with the net myself before my family and I could swim. Breakfast area is clean, and the breakfast is very sparse.

We stayed at this property because it fit our budget and was close as we could get to UConn, given that we started the hotel search one week before Family weekend. The motel is no-frills but it was very clean. Beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was grab and go but had good options bagel, cream, cheese, toaster some pastries, and the coffee was surprisingly pretty good. Overall, a very nice stay and I would stay here again.

Well maintained, convenient, bagels and pastries for morning, clean (minus the bathroom that could have used a little more attention but was terrible).

Beds were very comfortable. If there was one complaint it was that at times we were the only people there and so they didn't put out coffee and breakfast in the morning. They did give me a coffee maker to make my own, and there was a microwave and frig in the room.

Spacious, very clean. Loved having a sofa to watch TV, and a microwave and refrigerator. Also a nice, easy breakfast available to eat in lobby or take to our room (pastries, bagels, juice and coffee). Highly recommend!
