Lovely stay in The Lamb for our short visit to the Cotswolds. Travelling with our dog who was also made very welcome. Lovely comfortable room, super bar and lounge area, very helpful staff and a good breakfast for both us and our pup.

Had a lovely stay at the Lamb inn. The area is lovely with the highstreet and garden company up the road. The food was amazing at the hotel. We had dinner and breakfast and both were lovely. The hotel was very cosy and relaxing and we enjoyed playing board games in the lounge area.

Great hotel with lovely friendly staff who go out of their way to help. All areas very clean and well presented. As with any old building be aware of steep steps. Fires are regularly stoked but be aware of some cooler areas.

Such a beautiful hotel and the room was great spacious and so pretty. The perfect getaway. The courtyard/garden was amazing for drinks/dinner. The only negative is the price which is a bit steep but you get rewarded in the end.

We had a lovely time. So pleased we chose to stay at The Lamb, it was just what we love... full of character and loved all the log fires! Very cosy and all the staff are very welcoming and attentive. They work so hard, they don't stop, especially the 2 young lads behind the bar! Thank you for a lovely break!

The property offered the unique Cotswold curve appeal as desired. The interior was well kept, clean and presentable. Our room was road side so little option to open windows securely for ventilation or views. I assumed that the full premises was dog friendly according to expedia but upon notifying the property of us having a dog we had to be moved to a specific dog friendly room. Very accommodating for having the dog in the seating and eating areas outside of the restaurant. I found the property to lack atmosphere. In every corner there were people whispering as to not be overheard as there was no background music at any point. The staff were polite but not talkative and seemed to be busy or short handed. The breakfast was very good, however the main meal we had on our first night was not. So we tended to eat in other areas. Over all we found the prices every in Burnham to be higher than we are used to in London. I would say the high street had minimal places to eat or drink due to a few pubs being closed completely and the others being more day time only. Also being a bank holiday weekend most had run out of food or fully booked. I would say it was nice to understand what the area had to offer but was not quite blown away. Checked out early on our final day to skip traffic and breakfast.

A very relaxing one night stay-over, in a cosy traditional room and excellent facilities, with a lovely modern bathroom and everything you would need - especially the 'Molton Brown' hand wash, lotion and shower gels. The Inn has log fires in the comfortable lounges and the food here is very tasty and offers good value for a great choice if classic dishes. All staff were helpful and very attentive during our stay. We would certainly return again in the future.

From moment of arrival to the time we left the whole experience was brilliant. Set on a quiet quaint typically Cotswold street, the hotel looks extremely atmospheric. The staff who greet you are attentive, engaging and clearly proud to work here. The rooms are comfortable and typical of the age of property with quirky low beams etc, but all very comfortable The lounges, restaurants and gardens are lovely, and the food of the highest quality. We will be back, many thanks “team lamb”

Lovely old English Inn with lovely lounges to relax in and very good restaurant and garden. Cosy fireplaces everywhere! Great location in Burford as well.

We stayed 4 nights at the Inn and loved it. The breakfast were great and we had 2 dinners in the dining room that were outstanding - both considerably better than at another place in town with excellent reviews.

The property offered the unique Cotswold curve appeal as desired. The interior was well kept, clean and presentable. Our room was road side so little option to open windows securely for ventilation or views. I assumed that the full premises was dog friendly according to expedia but upon notifying the property of us having a dog we had to be moved to a specific dog friendly room. Very accommodating for having the dog in the seating and eating areas outside of the restaurant. I found the property to lack atmosphere. In every corner there were people whispering as to not be overheard as there was no background music at any point. The staff were polite but not talkative and seemed to be busy or short handed. The breakfast was very good, however the main meal we had on our first night was not. So we tended to eat in other areas. Over all we found the prices every in Burnham to be higher than we are used to in London. I would say the high street had minimal places to eat or drink due to a few pubs being closed completely and the others being more day time only. Also being a bank holiday weekend most had run out of food or fully booked. I would say it was nice to understand what the area had to offer but was not quite blown away. Checked out early on our final day to skip traffic and breakfast.

Check-in was very straightforward and our room (Alium) was excellent - spacious and with very comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was also excellent . Highly recommend this hotel/room and will definitely stay again.

We stayed in the priory room, lovely, clean, good size We parked at the bay tree hotel as no parking on sheep street or priory lane but that was absolutely no problem as it’s a sister hotel. The food was amazing, garden area so lovely and relaxing, I would recommended this place to anyone visiting the area Cotswold wildlife park was only a few minutes drive away and couldn’t have been simpler
