Stayed 3 nights

Unfortunately I did not enjoy my stay at Burford House. To start, the shower in our bathroom was very dirty - mold all around the caulking and the door. I get it’s an old property, but old timey charm shouldn’t mean mold in the shower. The second issue was the heat. Obviously the property doesn’t control the weather but only one small window in our room opened. The other problem with that window is that we were situated right on a very busy road. The main road in Burford apparently has traffic at all times of night, so we were stuck between a very hot room or a very loud room. We did not get a lot of sleep. On the positive side, the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. But overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

Parking is free on the road outside the hotel, the hotel is in the High Street so all shops are very close. Stairs to the rooms are a little steep but not excessive, this is an old hotel be expect creaky floor's.
