Spotless, well equipped hotel. Big car park. Great value food and pleasant staff. What more can you want?

Check-in was friendly and efficient. They were up front about a heating issue they had, and offered an electric heater which was received within 5 minutes. Room is a decent size, recently decorated/refurbished, featuring a large comfy bed. The hotel itself was easy to get to, easy to park at, and easy to get to Luton airport the next morning. We took opportunity to have dinner in the pub; food very good, reasonably priced, and the staff are simply excellent. We would definitely return here when next travelling from Luton Airport or generally in the area for a night.

Parking very easy,ample spaces and lighting and cctv

Ideal location, clean everywhere and decent size car park. Shower was small but adequate. Toilet seat needs maintenance to secure in position but otherwise ok.

Nice clean hotel. .was good having a restaurant right next to it.

The car parking need to have a major uplift and road markings re done , also need to add signs if no parking areas . i was woken by reception at 10.30pm asking to move my car as it was bloking a fire exit. when i moved my car there was no road marking or signs saying fire exit or do not park and when i tried the gate near by this was locked so how can this be a fire exit , was not happy with being woken up and made to ge dreseed to move my car

Check in was quick and easy with everything explained well. Room was very clean, recently renovated, with a comfortable bed. Plenty of free car parking on site and free Wi-Fi. The attached Hungry Horse pub/restaurant was very good, but understaffed for a busy Friday and Saturday night and by the Sunday night had run out of a lot of food. The food I did have however was beautiful and highly recommended. The waiter (didn’t get his name) was excellent, serving the whole restaurant single handed and also serving on the bar in between serving food, very hardworking. All in all a very nice stay and I will definitely stay here again when I next visit the area.

The staff were very helpful and the room clean and comfortable. The problem was there was no heating, it was broken and apparently this happens regularly at this time of year. It was -3 outside. The staff did provide us with a small room blower heater which did the trick. Breakfast was included and was ery nice though.

Bedroom and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Very good having ironing board and iron in each room. Large screen t.v, the biggest i have ever had in a hotel added to overall comfort.

Check-in was easy, can’t remember the name of the staff member but she was very helpful and helped with my luggage. Stayed from Fri 20- Sun 22 March! Room was very clean, modern, comfortable bed, pillows and duvet, slept very well. All staff were friendly, happy to help and accommodating! Will certainly return! 😊

Stayed for 3 nights, our room was clean & bed very comfortable. Breakfast was nice & staff very friendly.

The outlets in the room charged incredibly slowly and the room was generally a bit grim. Bar staff were good

Lovely people and nice enough room. Hallways for the hotel rooms smelt awful. The room was dated but clean. It was fine for one night.

The room has everything you need i.e facilities to make hot drinks, comfy clean bed and bedding, tv, lovely shower. Quality of sleep was good. I stayed for two nights and it was suitable and adequate. Friendly staff and breakfast and dinner was good. Staff was very friendly especially friendly, I would definitely return back to The Highwayman Hotel.

Plenty of parking. Restaurant staff excellent at breakfast. Returning at night to the accommodation the corridor was toasty warm unlike our room which was crying out for the heating to be turned on !

Had a week long stay and the heating in the room didn't work at all. Notified staff multiple times and was never sorted. How they reacted was as if they were aware of the heating being faulty and it had become the norm. Others staying in the hotel had also complained. Temperatures dropped to -6 during the nights during my stay. Not pleased at all

Clean and friendly hotel. Room was very tidy but a bit cramped for people with bags.

The room was perfect for what i needed it for, as only slept there, while travelling into Silverstone each day. It was clean and comfy, the walls were a bit thin, boiler a bit noisy, but the price was perfect and restaurant next door handy.

Hotel and restraunt staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the lack of working heating in the room made the stay a poor experience. Room felt cold and uninviting.

The check in was easy and the room lovely nice and clean. The only gripe we have was the radiator was stuck on, so was very hot in the room even with the windows open.

I was very happy with my room. Clean and comfortable. The free WiFi was a little slow and some of the channels on the TV wouldn't load but apart from that I was very happy. I would stay again

Overall was a lovely stay. Couldn't get WiFi in room even after several attempts. Rooms were very clean, well organized and big enough for 2 people. Bathroom very clean and well equipped. Food was lovely, great choice and very reasonably priced. Would stay here again.

Had a very enjoyable 2 nights staff went out of there way even the Manager cooked my breakfast as cook had gone on his break.

Staff was proactive, helpful and friendly, made sure I knew everything I needed for my stay.

The good bits: All staff throughout bar/restaurant and hotel that we encountered were friendly,helpful and provided an excellent service. We had one complaint about noisy people staying in another room of which was swiftly dealt with. Our room provided more than I expected such as hair/body lotion for bath/shower and hand soap at the sink(all environmentally safe).A hair drier,ironing board and iron provided. The complimentary tray of tea/coffee,milk and sugar was refreshed daily and the bins emptied. The bed was very comfortable ,the room was very warm.Too warm for us so we just opened the window. The bad bits: A damp patch behind the door. Towels were not refreshed daily. Loose toilet seat(now reported). We would definitely stay here again and would look forward too it.

We could not check in because they were short staffed and could not leave the bar and they refused to give us a refund when we put a review in their Google Reviews Page. This is the worst hotel.

Disgusted!! Made the booking and when I realised there was a 10pm lateest check-in time, I tried 7 times to contact he hotel and couldn’t get through to anyone to rearrange. Money taken, no service provided. What annoyed me more was when I went to rebook somewhere else, The Highwayman was still available to book despite being well after 10pm by this point. Staff member at the bar couldn’t care less about my situation. Not impressed at all, and would not recommend.

Helpful friendly staff

Amazing service, very friendly and helpful landlady, perfect customer service by all the staff. I had lovely breakfasts, slept well andy room was kept clean.

arrived but nobody on reception , was told to sit in bar and wait for her return in 20 mins. went to breakfast first morning at 7am when it opens , finally received food 755am and it wasnt busy - no pastries nor orange juice left . same on day 2 and 3 , then on last day 4 we were suddenly told no toast served with breakfast when it was all days before ., Staff were abrupt and lacked any training in customer service . Staff would openly discuss other guests in front of you blaming them for lack of food on offer. . the hotel itself was clean but id avoid the restaurant as it needs to be corrected and staff trained with how to serve guests. i've travelled the world staying in hotels of varying standrads but this was the worst ever. My advice if you stay here avoid any food as we even tried a family dinner on first night and received same slow service and food not cooked correctly

Convenient to Dunstable town centre. Helpful Staff. Heating at the property on the blink! No Gluten Free options (or bread) for breakfast despite requesting in advance.

Overnight stay on way back home from Luton Airport to Yorkshire. Very helpful lady on reception. Room was clean, comfy KS bed, tea,kettle,iron & hairdryer. Only fault, bath very small, and someone in the Hotel set the smoke alarm off which woke us up!

6th September Nice meal (chicken skewers same as Iceland, mixed salad and chips). Very tasty and reasonable price. Good variety on menu. Comfy bed and covers,good size TV, powerful shower. Hairdryer and iron in in cupboard if needed. Clean and fresh in shower room and nicely decorated throughout. Lighting a bit poor in bedroom, but used desk lamp on table for reading so ok. Morning of 7th September. Breakfast 8am to 10am. 8.20am cereals, bread, 2 croissants and 1 mini muffin. Tiny bit of apple juice left no fruit or yogurts. Coffee pot nearly empty. People milling round looking for danish, etc by 8.36. Had to ask; more coffee and 3 yogurts bought out. Bought more cereal out but no Danish, fruit, etc 8.45am Asked about more Danish for a couple who came in, but he said all gone for day even though breakfast 8am to 10am. I had paid for cooked, so had enough, although bacon very salty. However, I think I would have been extremely disappointed if I just ordered continental as cereal, toast and if you are lucky or get down early enough, a yoghurt and danish really cut it. When I asked the lad serving where the fruit was or did we have to ask for it, he just looked at me blankly as though he had no clue what I was taking about. Hungry Horse....🤔

Great overnight stay, room large and comfortable. Bed great. Good choice at breakfast. Had evening meal too, was good, service and staff friendly. Great atmosphere here.

Unfortunately the TV had no sound and the receptionist tried hard to fix but with no success. At breakfast no white bread, no eggs, no mushrooms and although we asked for it to be well done that didn’t happen.
