We had a great time during a long beach weekend in Rhode Island. The view from the house is amazing, with beautiful sunsets over Green Hill Pond. The house was very clean and comfortable. The big sofa in the second floor living room was a great spot for movie night and for watching the World Cup. We made good use of the grill for tuna steaks (Ocean Catch in Wakefield) and burgers (Belmont Market), and the kitchen table had plenty of room for eight. We had two gorgeous sunny days on Saturday and Sunday, so we spent those days at East Matunuck State Beach. We really wanted to try out the kayaks -- we saw other people on the water -- but we just didn't have time. We spent a rainy day in Newport (still fun). We had a reservation for Matunuck Oyster Bar but when it started pouring we decided not to eat under the tent. We switched to Matunuck Atelier, which had a great seafood and pasta menu. Other food highlights included lunch at Mews Tavern followed by ice cream at Brickleys, good oysters and lobster rolls at TwoTen Grill. We wish we had more time to explore but we packed a lot into 4 days!

4 of us stayed for our annual retreat and the whole experience was just great. Communication with the owner was perfect and timely, check-in was simple, and the place was welcoming and comfortable. And the views are breathtaking!!!We were there in the dead of winter, so no kayaking or canoeing for us, but I would love to come back during paddling season.

We had a great stay! It was the perfect place for our girls weekend! The house was so nice and fit all of us perfectly! The views were amazing and Regina was a great host and easy to reach out to. The house was clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely think about coming back here!
