Legendary Porto Hotel

Très bien. Très bel hôtel et propre. A proximité des zones touristiques. Le seul point négatif, c'est le parking. Hôtel.com indique Parking disponible mais il est en réalité loin de l'hôtel et payant.

Hotel muy lindo , bien ubicado , te ofrecen estacionamiento a 200 mts por 10 € por día , y el desayuno es muy bueno

We booked it because of its location. There is no fridge in the room. There are two small lifts which can fit in max. 4 people in each one. We are not bothered by the amenities so it is all good for us. It was quiet at night; we stayed on the 5th floor. No mosquitoes - very important for us! Staff are friendly:) And there is a water refilling mini station so it was good that we brought our own bottles!

This hotel is in a very good location for exploring Porto’s sights. Lots of shopping close by. Parking was a bit of a walk, however the hotel had a discounted rate which was helpful. Good location for our three night stay. Staff was very nice. Would stay again.

Super Lage - Zentrum und Altstadt direkt vor dem Hotel und alles per Fuss erreichbar. Frühstück war gut. Personal freundlich. Einzig die Aufzüge sind etwas klein (zwei Personen mit Koffer passen gerade so hinein.

Très bien situé, a 7 minutes de marche du centre historique et du fleuve. Le personnel était très professionnel. On nous a conseillé un stationnement à 2 minutes de marche et nous avons eu un rabais. (10 € par jour). Le déjeuner était très bon et il a été rapide d'obtenir une table.

Friends weekend trip to Porto. Hotel is in a good location. Very clean. Helpful staff. But bar wasn't open on the friday or sunday

Hotel muito bem localizado, a 1 quadra da Rua Santa Catarina, 2 quadras do Porto, vários restaurantes e lojas próximos. Café da manhã excelente. Funcionários educados e sorridentes, o que é raro em Portugal. Único problema é o tamanho dos elevadores: só cabem 2 pessoas, ou 1 pessoa com bagagem. Minúsculo. Fora isso, hotel muito bom.

Tolle Lage am Batalha Platz um die Stadt zu Fuss zu erkunden. Das Hotel hat kein eigenes Parkhaus aber einen Vorzugspreis im Parkhaus 5 Minuten zu Fuss für 10 Euro am Tag. Frühstücksraum im Keller ohne Fenster. Frühstück lecker mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft.

Habitación impecable todo el tiempo, el servicio de las personas fue amable y con mucha atención para cualquier cosa que necesite. De verdad gracias !!

Convenient location for access to the train, restaurants and pharmacies with a good tour operator next door. The manager was at the reception when we were checking out and was pleasant and cheerful. The staff serving breakfast as well were courteous. Everyone else at the front desk was very unfriendly and noted first hand to be quite rude to another guest. The breakfast buffet daily was plentiful with various options and the highlight of the stay. The rooms are very noisy despite notices posted on the walls stating they were “quiet zones”. The door to the toilet did not open all the way, scraping and getting stuck on the floor. The commode is adjacent to the sink, mere millimeters between the two. Towels hang close to the commode from the sink and close to the bidet from the wall…something I find quite unhygienic, and utterly impractical. There is no exhaust in the bathroom so the humidity and mist lingers long after a shower. There was a couch in the room that put us off immediately, for all the visible stains on it. The curtains are not hooked properly and very dirty. Mold was noted in the bottom of the wall near the balcony door. Overall, we would not want to return to this hotel.

The room was basic. The floor remained dirty throughout the stay as shown by the bottom of our feet each night. It was overpriced for the days we were there (200). The people that worked there were so nice and kind. I would stay again if the price was lower.

Great location and fabulous breakfast. Room was a little tired looking. Curtains dirty at bottom where resting on floor and needed a coat of paint. But only used to rest our heads so a good place. Would have preferred carpet on floor

Location is in the middle of Porto with all points of touristic interests within reasonable walking distance (most within 10 minutes), including the train and metro stations. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. I had a single room which felt spacious enough, the view from room of the square in front was fantastic. Area was safe albeit a few homeless people around (I was traveling solo). I received a complimentary bottle of local red wine from the bar as an Expedia VIP member which I enjoyed during the 4 nights that I stayed there.

Centrally located, great breakfast, quiet and clean rooms. I had to switch rooms after the first night due to overwhelming sewer smell from the bathroom, rm 613. Rm 612 was better but still got a whiff. Stayed for 4 nights

Disappointing Stay – Poor Service Overshadowed Our Porto Experience When visiting a new city, the first impressions often come transport to the accommodation and hotel staff. We took the metro from the airport, so our first real contact in Porto was the hotel front desk — unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The receptionist who greeted us made no effort to welcome us, speaking and acting more like a machine than a person. Sadly, every time we needed assistance during the morning shift, we had to deal with the same unapproachable staff member. Throughout our stay, the overall service was unfriendly and, at times, borderline rude. Other issues included: • The Wi-Fi never worked, anywhere in the hotel. • The breakfast was basic and repetitive, the same every day. • Our room was not clean upon check-in — there was trash left behind, the floors were dirty, and the curtains were filthy. • The door kept getting stuck, there was poor lighting, and the TV didn’t work the first night. On a more positive note, the location is convenient, the beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the free water dispenser at reception. But those few positives were not enough to make up for the lack of care and hospitality. For the price we paid, this hotel does not offer good value. If I had known the Moov Hotel was just around the corner, I would have stayed there instead. Sadly, our experience at Legendary Hotel negatively impacted our overall impression of Porto.

Location is excellent. Staff is great. Appreciate the filtered water and ice in the lobby. Breakfast is excellent. While clean the rooms are very dated and need maintenace.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay at both the hotel and in Porto. Breakfast was great, the staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue we had was noise. If anyone is speaking in the hallway it travels in to the rooms. You could also hear conversations from adjacent rooms

The Legendary is well situated in Praça da Batalha very close to the main shopping street in Porto (Rua Santa Catarina) and about 10min walk to Porto São Bento train station. It is close to many restaurants and cafés which are within walking distance (at most 10-15 min) of the hotel. The room itself was good size but the bathroom was almost an after thought. It was super cramped and the bathroom vanity had to be cut at an angle to allow the door to close properly! The door also grazed the toilet bowl so you had to stand awkwardly in the back corner between the toilet and vanity counter to be able to close the door from the inside. There is a tiny elevator that could barely fit two people with luggage but it was functional. There was no mini fridge in the room but there was space in the lobby fridge which is behind the front desk (inconvenient if you have items to keep cold). In general I think this hotel is in need of a room update but the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Hotels in a great location however it’s in need of an upgrade. Very dated rooms.

Located in central city with ease and convenience for sightseeing. Regret that reception only starts check in from 2:00pm (whether they have rooms ready or not does not matter) and will not let you check in until 2:00pm sharp (although reception will take passports for pre-registration before 2:00pm). Because of this rigid check-in time policy, check-in after 2:00pm takes time with a long line of people.

Front desk staff were not only unfriendly, they were unapproachable. We encountered numerous clerks and each one made us feel we were bothering them and we were reluctant to ask questions. The information they provided regarding nearby sights and restaurants was minimal and we were even directed to a restaurant that had a 2 hour wait and we were not advised that a reservation would be recommended. As a VIP perk we were given a bottle of wine to take to our room, but the bartender was not cooperative to give us 2 wine glasses! Very disappointed and we would not recommend this hotel.

Beware that this property is super strict about the 2 o’clock start time. I had asked in advance for early check in and they said would depend on availability. They didn’t bother to even look when I came in. They said not taking anybody early. People have to sit around all over the lobbies for hours waiting for their room. Never seen anything like it.

The third time we stayed at this hotel. Quick check-in and great service. Staff goes beyond in order to assist the guests. Great location, right next to Saint Idelfonso Church, many restaurants around the hotel, and next to Rua Santa Catarina. Clean and comfortable rooms. Thank you!

Hotel was in a great location in City Center. Most major attractions were walking distance. Hotel was safe and clean.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel was in the center of everything. You could walk every where. Lot's of dining option. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and Portugal.

The perfect location! If you map all the attractions it’s about an hour and 20 min. Very quiet and clean area. Lots of restaurants around it too

Très bien situé, à quelques minutes à pieds de la gare de train et tout près des principaux attraits touristiques.

Great location, all of Porto’s main sights that I wanted to see were in walking distance (but be prepared for hills!) and the hotel is located right by a bus stop for anything farther away. Breakfast was good, with a large selection, and the hotel offered a luggage storage room which was helpful.

Hôtel très bien placé. Direct aeroport, descendez à bolhao puis la rue santa catarina environ 300m tout droit. C'est un 3*.bon accueil, chambre avec une bonne literie, en revanche petite télévision sans chaîne française - Climatisation, rangements - Salle d'eau fonctionnelle comprenant cabine de douche WC bidet et lavabo. Bof. Un très bon petit déjeuner avec jus d'orange pressé, fruits frais melon orange pastèque, kiwi, etc. Viennoiseries - pain - pancake -cereales. Tout peut se faire à pied, mais avec de bons mollets. Proximité de restaurants.

Loved the location of this hotel very easy to get to the shops the waterfront everywhere we need to go. Hotel was very clean nothing really to complain about. A great touch to have the freshly squeezed orange juice. Didn’t like the look of the mushrooms, bacon or sausages though.

Also, die Reinigung in den Zimmern war jetzt nicht hervorragend. In der Badewanne war ein Haar, also hat man bemerkt, dass es gar nicht richtig gereinigt wurde. Also zum Frühstück hat man jetzt auch nicht so ne große Auswahl gehabt war auf gar keinen Fall was für uns
