Hotel had a lot of character. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Paid a big price for a twin bed room, couldn't get a double room, There were no tea or coffee making facilities. Air conditioning was a small portable fan. It was 4 star prices for 3 star accommodation.

The hotel is a bit tired/old fashion. The free parking is convenient for us that traveled by car. The staff isn’t the most smiling one but it’s often the caset in Austria. The breakfast is really average could have more fruits, viennoiserie etc. Overall for the price it’s not amazing just ok. But all hotels seem expensive in Salzburg.

This is a lovely old fashioned hotel with friendly helpful staff. There is a lift. Easy walking distance from the station and open 24 / 7 very convenient. The breakfast was very substantial and served in a lovely retro dining room. My room was clean and comfortable.

A wonderful family owned property close to the main railway station. Very friendly staff set us up with free transit passes and lots of advice about getting around. Happy hour drinks in the Baroque room. Excellent breakfast. Would stay again!

Nice, cozy and nostalgia hotel. It feels like a home. It seems the hotel is family-owned. They are very friendly. Breakfast is great. Room is very clean. Price is reasonable. Hotel sits very close to the central train station, where you can hop on any bus to go anywhere. Quite a lot of restaurants and grocery stores are near by, and I love it. I plan to stay in this hotel again in my next trip to Salzburg. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is an older family-owned hotel that is quiet and clean. The staff were friendly and informative. The included breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We found a slight odour of cigarette smoke even though it is a non-smoking hotel. There is an excellent Thai restaurant just across the street.

The staff were very helpful and the location good in as much as we enjoy walking so a good brisk hike to the old city in 20-25 mins. However, it was noisy outside on the street so that’s where the white noise came in handy!!

Front desk staff was nice but the hotel was so old and dated I think Mozart stayed there. The funny thing is my parents would have loved all the old time kitsch but it wasn't for me. For the same price including breakfast and a larger more modern room I stayed around the corner for 3 night after a night at Hohenstauffen. The room was very basic.

Absolutely love this family run hotel. The best service and friendly staff. Frauer Reichl remembered me from my last visit with them. I can rave enough about this hotel. Clean, quiet and safe and always willing to help and have the best knowledge on what and how to get to and see things. This is now my go to hotel for Salzburg.

The location was super convenient, an easy walk from the train station & a bus stop. There were several restaurants within a few blocks, nothing fancy, but clean & budget-friendly. Linda, at the front desk, went out of her way to help with suggestions for things to do and directions on how to get there. I'd definitely stay here again.

Funcionários muito cordiais, excelente localização, a 3 quarteirões da estação central. Pedi um quarto no térreo e fui atendida; mesmo sendo ao lado da recepção e do café, o quarto era silencioso. No entanto, não é preciso pedir no térreo, pois há elevador na hospedagem. Boa cama, tamanho do quarto, guarda roupas. Fica uma queixa em relação a ducha, não consegui ajustar de modo que conseguisse usar sem molhar todo o banheiro, foi impossível lavar o cabelo. Sugestão de fechar todo o box ou mudar a localização de onde fica a ducha presa. Sugiro também colocar outra lixeira, no quarto; há apenas uma no banheiro. No mais, excelente estadia.

Beautiful, Victorian looking hotel with excellent service. The family that runs this hotel is so sweet! The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The area is quiet, so you are guaranteed good sleep. It’s located within 5 minute walk to the train station and around a 15-20 minute walk to the part of the city across the river.

Great stay. I arrived late but was till able to get a beer and water. Room was clean and comfortable and large and had a personality! Breakfast was the best value I can remember for many years. No hot food but plenty of cold choices and all for just 6 euros! Will stay again if in Salzburg.
