Any shopping experience is out the door step. This hotel is perfectly situated for restaurants, cafes, museums, wine bars, shops of all sorts. Only issue is you must valet or find a parking spot somewhere else away from hotel.

Lots of really nice amenities. Very pleasant hotel right in the middle of the old town area. Room on 3rd floor had view of beautiful courtyard within the hotel. The restaurant and bar were both very good with excellent service. Highly recommend if staying in Salzburg

Driving to the hotel, we were wondering what we have gotten ourselves in. Hotel sign not well posted and it was nighttime when we arrived. Thanksfully, a hotel attendant was present to let us know that we have arrived. We opted for valet parking which made things covenient in unloading luggages. Hotel was quaint perfect location in Salzburg. Sites are all within walking distance. Room was clean. Staff friendly. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Very convenient for walking the old part of Salzburg. The staff is outstanding for courtesy and helpfulness, both the desk people and incredible breakfast servers. Take advantage of valet parking if you’re driving…there’s no close lot.

Radisson Blu hotel is a wonderful choice if you’re going to spend some time in Salsburg. The hotel is in wonderful condition in a beautiful old building. It is surrounded by amazing shopping areas and the hotel bar/Café is great. I would recommend it highly

Very nice hotal in the center of the old town of Salzburg, very close to all main attractions like the cathedral, opera house and Sacher hotel. The room was great and quiet. Good breakfast and there is a restaurant if you don´t want to leave the hotel to eat.

Great location. Very good breakfast in extra nice breakfast room overlooking the river. We had a tasty dinner in the cafe. Room was spacious and comfortable in a cleverly adapted building. Very nice staff.

When I first came in, I needed to use the bathroom in the lobby and when I went it one of the toilets had some brown crust on the rim of one of the seats and I was disgusted. When we got to our room we decided to drink some of their complimentary tea they gave us, and one of the mugs was cracked and had brown stains all throughout it from all the people drinking from it. The cleanliness of this hotel is not that well.

Das Ersatzzimmer war zwar ruhig, roch aber nach Toilette - das geringere Übel von beiden. Einmal und nie wieder.

Great hotel right in the heart of the old town in Salzburg. Room was massive and had that old word charm to it. Bed was mostly comfortable although for a superior room putting two single beds together isn’t a great look. Loved that there was a proper coffee machine too

This was a great location for the Christmas markets! Everything is walkable. Room size was great. Only issue was the heating system. We could not find away to normalize the heat. It was very hot, even after shutting the radiators off.

Location was perfect for exploring the whole city on foot, and room was spacious. Bed was comfortable enough. Bathroom was fine except for the shower was precarious to use with awkward placement of the showerhead, and the showerhead was difficult to keep from falling. Water temperature was difficult to get right and would unpredictably change mid-shower. Wifi was terrible, barely worked. When it rained, water came into the room through all windows as it's a very old building with rotted wood around windows. Staff came in immediately to dry the water and place towels in the windows though, which was fine. Short Indian man at reception gave us the wrong prices about parking. (The actual prices as of May 2024 - covered garage is 33 euros per night and uncovered lot is 22.50 euros per night). After parking in the covered garage and showing him a photo of the sign from the parking garage of the prices he argued with me that it was wrong and that it was only 22 euros per night at most. We of course ended up paying 66 euros at the end for 2 nights (36 hours). I notified a different member of staff and she was lovely and said she would correct her colleague about the parking prices.

We contact the hotel through Expedia with a special request, they confirmed the request but when we arrived, they said it was not possible. The air conditioner did not work and although we reported it, they never repair it. But at least the night manager gave us a fan, of course it still very hot since it was summer time. One night the hotel did not have energy from 1 am to 3 am and the hotel does not have a generator. In addition, when you call reception, there was always an answer machine, never a person, at any time of the day. Water from the shower leaked into the toilet area, we had to use the bath robe or towels to contained water.

Front desk check in lady is unprofessional and rude. Extremely shrewd. Everyone else in the hotel was pleasant except for the lady with glasses who checked us in. It was such a put off at the start of a vacation. Room was really small. Two beds were joined together to make a double bed. Bathroom shower and the glass enclosure was difficult to operate. The location however was perfect. But there are better hotels around the same location too so don’t recommend this one.

Excellent hotel with large well equipped rooms. The hotel is set in the heart of the old city with an entrance directly onto the main shopping street and easy access to restaurants and the Christmas markets. A great place to stay, and I will be back!

A lovely old building (from the 1300’s!) but nicely updated amenities and a spacious bedroom. My room had no view but some do. Excellent breakfast! Hotel has a front and back entrance- back entrance/exit lead to shops and not far from Christmas markets. Very friendly staff!

Step right out of the hotel into the charming narrow streets to shop in old town Salzburg! Lots of good restaurants nearby, a wonderful breakfast daily in a beautiful dining room with a view of the river, very friendly and helpful staff. We prefer the smaller hotels like this and were very pleased!

Very nice property in Old Town! So convenient to walking everywhere!!! Many dining and shopping options! The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and served in a lovely space. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Salzburg is on our list for a return visit and we would definitely rebook a stay here!
