Easy to find - staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel was very nice - rooms were very clean and comfortable. Dinner at the hotel was one of the best we had on our trip The hotel is walkable to the fortress, mirabell palace and many other....but its a bit of a walk. We never felt unsafe while walking. The only thing i would improve is the parking..small parking lot offsite from the hotel. Nothing bad but its extra and the lot is small.

Apparently, there are 2 sides and 2 entrances into the hotel: one reception side looks newer with a bright orange backdrop and modern artwork on the wall, the other looks more homey and older. Our family room was on the older side. That was the only confusing part. Other than that, the room was clean spacious for our family of 4 (European standards). Our room was made everyday, but they did not provide any additional toiletries; we stayed for 3 nights and no additional shampoo/soap/lotion were provided the 2 times they made our room. There was no phone in the room to call housekeeping or reception, and it was always late when we returned to the hotel, so it was a hassle to go ask the reception. Luckily we packed some ourselves. The staff was nice. Upon my check-out, I was given a small treat for my birthday, which I was surprised they knew - perhaps from Expedia profile? This was a pleasant surprise and I appreciated it. Even though the weather was nice, we were not allowed to have breakfast outside, which was a shame. Parking is conveniently located right behind the hotel and costs 20 EUR per day. The location is next to old town, with many eateries nearby. I recommend the hotel.

Insgesamt 5 Personen. Die Zimmer waren sehr großzügig eingerichtet und klimatisiert. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, an der Sauberkeit gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Das Frühstück ist großartig und lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten an der Rezeption Busfahrkarten für Ausflüge in das Umland (Schloss Hellbrunn usw.) erhalten. Das Hotel verfügt über ein Restaurant mit überwiegend typischer Küche aus Österreich. Wir aßen hier zweimal und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Preis - Leistungs Verhältnis war vollkommen in Ordnung. Reservierungen sind aber zu empfehlen. Für die Kinder erhielten wir sogar nach Küchenschluss noch eine Kleinigkeit zum Essen. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Parkplatz (Kosten hier 20€ pro Nacht) Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Our family of six had a fantastic stay at Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu! We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and were very impressed with how clean, spacious, and newly renovated everything was. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and provided a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. The price is reasonable and the location is excellent. It is just a short walk to Mirabell Gardens and to the Old Town. The hotel is also conveniently close to both the central train station and bus stops, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. We took a quick and easy bus ride to visit Hellbrunn Palace and the Hohensalzburg Fortress. There are also plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, which made dining and picking up essentials super convenient. Definitely our favorite hotel during our 2-week European trip.

The room I had can’t be called a room. It was a walk- in closet. Tiny, shabby - uncomfortable bed- more like a hostel than a hotel. I could not sleep for two nights and had to change the room for extra money, of course . Property so tired - I felt it was all polluted. No show just a bath inbejich was hard to climb. I was not able to use any body wash. It was unseeable . Simply a disgusting room.

She gave us a lot of tips on where to go and how to spend our time on Sunday when most shops in old town were closed. Thank you very much for her insightful advice. Bra rum med vattenkokare och minibar. Skön säng och bra frukostbuffé. Härligt med badkar efter en kall dag ute. Vi hade bett om ett tyst rum. Fick ett på våning 5 men stördes ändå av både biltrafik och tåg. De stora fönstren var inte ljudisolerade.

Decent room, only major complaint is that air conditioning underperformed. We don't expect North American ultra-cool temps -- for us, we can sleep comfortably at 23-24C. The AC system was clearly working (cool air at vent) but insufficient to get our room below 26C at bedtime (it was 24C when we woke up) with outdoor temps in the 25-28C range during the day and around 18C at night. So I would say this hotel is perfectly good except during hot summer days.

The Hotel is at a very convenient positin, few minutes walk to Main station. Everything was good, except the shower head was quite weak, the waterflow is not satisfying at all and the hot cold control is not stable. The room soundproof is not very good, you can hear the elevator door slamming clearly. Other than that, it is very good place to stay, staffs are very nice. Check in and out was smooth. Breakfast doesnt have a lots of options but was OK enough.

The staff, overall cleanliness and breakfast buffet were great, but we only stayed one night and I’m glad that was all. The A/C didn’t work at all, so even though it was cool outside, it was uncomfortably hot in the room. We opened the window to try to let in some air, but the hotel is on a busy street so it was either sleep hot or noisy. One other major issue, was the shower design. The shower head was positioned in the middle of the tub with a piece of glass covering only half the tub from the door side of the bathroom. The shower head also didn’t fit right, so it swung around loosely and not in any fixed position.. water got everywhere no matter what and we had to hold the head with one hand to actually rinse off, otherwise it just sprays the wall. Wouldn’t stay here again.

미라벨정원 바로 앞이고 트램이나 버스를 이용할 수도 있지만 왠만한 곳은 걸어서 이동할 수 있을 정도로 위치가 아주 좋았어요 객실은 매우 청결했고 꽤 넓고 수납공간도 많아서 정말 편리하고 쾌적하게 지냈습니다 옆에 같이 운영하는 식당은 정말 멋진 분위기와 맛있는 음식으로 현지인들에게도 인기가 많은 곳인 듯 했어요 첫날 저녁을 먹었는데 슈니첼과 굴라쉬, 추천해주신 맥주까지 모두 훌륭했습니다 다만 체크인 할 때 리셉션에 직원이 없어서 꽤 오랫동안(약 30분, 직원이 온 후에 다른 고객을 먼저 응대하는 동안 또 30분) 기다려야 했어요 레스토랑의 직원이 대신 사과를 하며 샴페인도 주었습니다 이 부분은 개선되면 좋겠어요 나머지는 더할나위 없이 훌륭해서 다시 또 방문하고 싶고 추천하고 싶은 곳입니다

Convenient! This was close for us from the train station. And close to Mirabell Palace and Garden. We attended a Mozart concert there. We walked to the Hohenschloss Fortress too. The only thing I didn’t like was the in-room coffee flavor - in our room, I had to stand on a chair to operate the tank. Coffee was good for the excellent breakfast buffet.

This is a good hotel, especially for the price. It’s a 10 minute walk from central station, 5 minute walk to Mirabelle Gardens, 15-20 minute walk to Old town. There are taxis & Uber readily available if you don’t want to walk. The staff is nice. Rooms are great, especially for European standards. It was huge, clean, comfortable! The breakfast was good & dinner at the restaurant is delicious. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location! About 10 min walk to main train station. Room was large, clean, comfortable, for our family of four. Great restaurant on site, also another sister property down the street w nice restaurant Pitterkeller. We enjoyed the stay and friendly service. Hotel helped us buy tickets for the Sound of Music tour which was amazing!
