Podewils Old Town Gdansk

Very pleasant stay. Nice staff. Not a true luxury hotel, although the staff, breakfast, bathroom, and location are all very nice. Great for a quiet couple getaway in a historic old home.

Room was very clean, great location. Lady receptionist on check in was lovely. Arrived early and able to leave our bags until room was ready. On return our bags had been left in room which was great. At this time there was a man at reception who showed us to our room. Sometime later this man came into our room. He did not knock- just let himself in. This was most disturbing. We were in bed having a rest. He left immediately. It was very embarrassing.

Staff were great. Hotel was quiet.

What really stands out is the service: the staff are warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, making every guest feel welcome and well cared for. The whole hotel has a romantic, intimate atmosphere, enhanced by its Rococo-style interiors and riverside setting. Highly recommended for a memorable, high‑quality stay in Gdańsk – a real gem that feels like a home in the city.
