Rooftop pool is very nice, staff is accommodating. Wish that plain water was more plentiful and available. Enjoyed the snacks available in the lobby the last time more, they didn't really put stuff out this time around.

I love the One Hotels properties and have frequented Miami and New York. While this fits in with the "spa-like" feel of a hip hotel, is beautifully appointed with bleached woods and live plants, the gym wrecked it for me. Unlike the mecca in Miami, here the gym is definitely an afterthought. Incomplete dumbell sets, poor connectivity on the cardio machines, partially missing TRX gear, and an old school, adjustable weight bench straight from my garage circa 1990. Given the hotel rates, y'all could splurge on a smith machine or cable tower to cover all the missing equipment in the space. Really disappointed as that was a key reason I booked it, rather than having to go to the equinox down the street. Overall, gorgeous place if you dont need the gym.

A Mixed Stay at 1 Hotel West Hollywood Our anniversary stay at 1 Hotel West Hollywood, though in a prime West Hollywood location, was a mix of highs and lows. Having enjoyed the 1 Hotel San Francisco, my expectations for consistent excellence were high, but unfortunately not fully met. Early pool access was a nice start, allowing us to relax before check-in. However, the check-in itself felt impersonal; we received a text our room was ready, but no warm welcome or overview of the hotel's amenities was given. Pro: Clean, appreciated the late checkout for no additional fee, great customer service, awesome bar/restaurant, close to all things Westwood, utilized Audi test drive to run a few errands which was convenient. This would be my go-to hotel in Wwood Cons: lack of light (it’s bizarre), the gym is strangely hot & humid. Make sure to ask for a room on the city skyline side of the hotel.

So disappointed in our stay here. We’ve heard amazing things about 1Hotel brand and it’s our first time. Upon arrival, the lobby was soooo incredibly noisy. I asked the person checking in as I’m screaming across The counter is it always this loud and obnoxious and he said no, it’s not. They were hosting an event that day and it was just so loud. But what really bothered me was the “ scheduled blackout” that they said they had text all their guest about. I did not receive any text about the scheduled blackout. I elevator was in the middle of my shower and the lights went out. There was no electricity for the elevators to work. I had to carry all my bags down the stairs, no air conditioner in the heat of the summer. It was unbelievable very disappointed. If they knew they were going to have to shut off the power, they shouldn’t book any rooms in that tower. It’s unfair to us as a guest.

Amazing hotel with a unique theme - lots of greenery and plants everywhere. Loved all of the natural decor, it was extremely clean and well maintained. It was more than adequately staffed and there was someone there to help you with just about everything…I don’t think I even opened a door once while I was there. Pool has amazing views! The lobby bar/restaurant, Juniper, is great and a relaxing lounging environment. The rooftop bar, Harriet’s, is upscale with good drinks and beautiful views. The rooms are modern, clean, and everything is done with sustainability in mind. Would definitely recommend staying here!

My stay at 1 Hotel Hollywood was, unfortunately, a significant let-down. Our room, was dirty, with stained carpeting stained bedding which was washed but stained! The coffee machine and tables were laden with dust, nearly finishing my face wipes trying to clean everything. The final straw was a insect, which scuttled onto our bed from a pile of towels delivered to our room. This was, without a doubt, disturbing and unacceptable. The response from the manager also not acceptable. Though she mentioned she would have liked to help us before we decided to check out, the fact remains that she still had the opportunity to make amends and chose not to. Unfortunately, it appears that the focus on aesthetics does not extend to maintaining a basic level of cleanliness and comfort in the rooms.

1 Hotel West Hollywood was experiencing a labor union issue there when we visited but seemed to keep things moving along. Amongst the good things - staff was very friendly - valet was very prompt and courteous - location was convenient - common areas were clean Amongst the not good things: - carpets were dirty - walls needed wipe down - shower didn’t drain well - breakfast was mediocre but expensive

Everything but my actual room is great! The shower was moldy and had hair in it from the previous guests. When I arrived, the room was dusty and things were all askew, so I decided not to have the housekeepers come the rest of my stay. The noise was unbearable — both from the other rooms, hallways, and mostly the AC going on and off. The blinds were impossible to open and close, and light streamed in from the sides. I live in NYC and had to sleep with an eye mask AND earplugs and was unable to nap during they day, even though I also have narcolepsy. The lights and switches were stupidly designed and placed, and I kept having to stumble back to bed in the dark, hitting my shins numerous times on the platform bed. Will not stay here again!

I had to major issues; Number 1 - my LV leather luggage was damaged. I was devastated when I saw the staff put my leather luggage on the asphalt when they were loading our car. I didn’t notice the damage until after I picked up my luggage from the car. Number 2 - when I was in the shower I noticed long black hair in the wall. I have platinum blonde hair and I was so disappointed when I saw that. This shows that the cleaners don’t do deep cleaning but just surface cleaning.

Beautiful property but if you’re staying here, it’s loud! For the amount of money you spend on a suite, it’s definitely loud! You can hear traffic facing the sunset strip, other room doors closing and opening, people in the corridor area, room service being delivered; just overall not quite. The check-in staff were not pleasant, either. We did utilize the house vehicle and our driver was down to earth, pleasant and helpful.

my experience was less than satisfactory due to several issues that impacted my overall comfort and enjoyment. Firstly, the suite I chose was not the cheapest option, but it had no view and barely any sunshine. The lighting in the room was so dim that it was difficult to even apply makeup or read comfortably. This was disappointing, as I had hoped for a bright and airy space to relax in during my stay. The noise levels in the suite were another major issue. The room was located right near a busy street, which meant that I had to contend with constant traffic noise throughout the night. Additionally, the sound insulation seemed to be ineffective, as I could hear people yelling in the hallway and other disturbances from nearby rooms throughout the nights I stayed. This made it very difficult to even get a good night's sleep or enjoy any quiet moments. While the lobby and amenities at the 1 Hotel were visually appealing, this didn't make up for the lack of comfort and relaxation in the suite itself. I was unable to fully appreciate the hotel's offerings due to the dissatisfaction with my room. I regret to say that I will not be returning to this location for my future visits to the city.

Had an amazing stay, the staff is welcoming, happy and helpful. The rooms are peaceful and give a natural environment vibe that’s soothing after a long day in LA. The only down side is that sometimes the music can be a little too loud on the lower level and in the morning it could be avoided. I would definitely saty there again!!

We staye 2 nights with our son in a King room with a couch and "city view". Coming from the AD industry, the decor is stunning and the hotel has a specific scent they use in candles and is prominent throughout the rooms/hotel which is really nice to smell. The lounge/bar area is beautiful and our server we had both afternoons was so nice. The room was gorgeous but there wasn't much to the "city view" and the first night (Thurs) we hardly slept at all due to the nightly jackhammering happening across the street. Luckily they didn't work on the weekend nights. We were excited to try out the pool but it was a scene when we arrived at around 2pm and all loungers were occupied. Breakfast was delish and our server was incredibly kind. We liked the location too - easy to take short ubers to great restaurants and to get to Universal Studios, Hollywood Blvd, etc. Only random thing is that there aren't any ice makers on the floors - no ice for your in-room happy hours but they will bring you some if you like.

I stayed here in March of 2024 and would not stay here again. Between the silly delays in being able to check in on time which *significantly* affected the rest of my day, to the loud rooms with inconsistent AC, to the poor lighting in the room (it was nearly impossible to see), we will not be staying here again. Also, the restaurant on properly was embarrassingly slow and extremely expensive.

Lovely energy at the property. I would say I am disappointed with the check in process. They kept us waiting for a while because they were understaffed. Then my room was not ready and it was 5:15pm! When I finally got into my room that was on a hidden floor, the staff at the front desk did not send up my luggage as I had asked. They also did not help me to my room on this hidden floor. The room was larger because it was the ADA compliant. But to be fair this room has a Murphy bed and not a real bed. I was hoping to switch to a normal room and the front desk did not allow me to do so. Stating they were fully booked. They told us that Sunday night was fully booked so I arranged to get another hotel. But I realized online that they are NOT. So this is very unfortunate. We had to move our belongings. Check out was not a breeze. They had closed the valet due to the marathon. The valet team did not open the restricted floor in the elevator. They just pointed to the wall behind them and said. “Take a turn and a turn and the elevator is there. Press P3 and go down stairs to get your car”. We circled and got into the elevators and went to press P3. No access. The elevator ends up taking us upstairs and back down. Asked the front desk and they are clueless about what is happening. Asked someone else that had a full set of walkie talkies and he was the one that knew how to get us down to our car. I believe the team could be more helpful and thorough. Kindness matters

Safe did not work. Room service is limited to an acceptable fair late at night. If you’re arriving at a late night flight, be sure not to count on room service at this hotel. Valet parking notice by text does not work. So if you want your car, it’s best to phone them, or go down and ask for it in advance. Don’t count on the lobby lounge after 12 midnight as they shut down abruptly and turn on the lights.

After staying at the 1hotel in Miami, I expected to have a similar experience in LA, but I was wrong. The girls at the front desk were just not friendly at all. Couldn’t even bother to put a smile on their faces. It was like we were bothering them when checking in. Someone called the phone in the room twice early in the morning and woke us up for no reason.

Guy at the front desk who checked me in was super awesome and the rooms are SO nice. Actually was going to give this property five stars and say I was blown away…. Until I checked out and had an unfavorable experience at the valet. The attendant who pulled up my car straight up stared at me and watched as I struggled to get all my luggage into the trunk — didn’t even attempt to help, which was strange for a 5-star hotel. I honestly don’t know why I still tipped him.

It was my second time staying at the 1 in West Hollywood and this time round was unfortunately filled with disappointment, all to do with the lack of customer service. I absolutely loved it the first time but I was continually let down by the staff - mainly those on the front desk. After rooms not being ready for hours past the check in time I got in the room it was directly facing construction and the busiest part of sunset so my soundtrack was cars honking and construction work. I ended up calling asking to change rooms around 8am the next day because I was just exhausted and didn’t want to spend the next 8 days not being able to rest. I was told I could move and if I was out to pack up my bags so they could move everything over once the room was ready and that they’d call so I can change over my keys. It got to 6pm and I had to get ready yet I still hadn’t been contacted, I went down to reception to which they said the room had been ready for hours and it seemed like the staff didn’t want to take accountability for anything and just blame whoever else was on shift when things were said. On my last day at the hotel I went for coffee with a friend around 9:30am and at around 10:30 I get a call from the hotel asking if I had left and I said no to which they said oh sorry we will check you back in. When I went to grab my bags the keys didn’t work and I ended up almost missing my flight because there were 8-10 people waiting at reception so it took 30/40 mins to resolve the key

Very disappointing. Location was good, gym & pool area were nice, crowd was fun. Staff was generally good. Room was very basic, bathroom in particular (a bath/shower combo in a recently built five star hotel?) Pool area was shut down for a whole day for maintenance. Prices were too high for bfast though. Same for drinks at the bar ($90 for 2 cocktails & an order of fries). Concierge was hapless, left work without passing along our file to anyone (we had asked for help for dinner rez & concert tickets), something I have never experienced in 30 years of staying at high end hotels. Anyhow, wont be back and wont recommend.

Beautiful hotel with Tulum vibes, perfectly located with access to everything. The staff were amazing, friendly, and funny. The restaurant was great with outdoor seating and the workout facility was serene and calming. The perfect place to stay in LA.

I stayed here in March of 2024 and would not stay here again. Between the silly delays in being able to check in on time which *significantly* affected the rest of my day, to the loud rooms with inconsistent AC, to the poor lighting in the room (it was nearly impossible to see), we will not be staying here again. Also, the restaurant on properly was embarrassingly slow and extremely expensive.

Everything was a bit average, especially the food. Not like the 1 hotels in nyc or miami. Looks nice, valet are great, the rest is pretty average.

Great hotel overall but I didnt like that there was no complimentary water in the room. The minibar had water for $12 a bottle-that's crazy! Also my room was next to the service elevator so I heard a lot of noise constantly.
