Overall it was a nice property and I would stay there again. I have stayed here 2-3 times before on just 1 night stays for work. The only issues I have on this trip were minor and I didn't notice any issues on my previous stays. One of the lights beside the bed didn't work and the lamp by the window only worked if you had the plug at the right angle in the outlet. The tub/spout assembly in the tub shower was loose when I was adjusting the water temperature. It wiggled back and forth a good 1/2-1" and water is definitely getting inside the wall. The last issue was the striker for the back door is broken so anyone can come in without a room card. I think these are minor issues and could be fixed quickly and easily. Like I said, I would stay here again.

We love this hotel! Love the way it's decorated, the home style feel, etc. Food is good, lots of good options, not just basic boring items like most hotels. Beds need a bit of an upgrade... not all that comfortable. The hot tub area is fabulous. We will for sure stay again!

I have stayed twice a year for the last 15 years. It has always been a great experience. They have done a lot to improve the property. Bring you bathing suit for the jacuzzi and the sauna!

Redwood Lodge is in my hometown, so when I go back, I always stay here. I like that the breakfast is included. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it's relatively clean. The area outside the building could use some cleanup attention. The room(s) could use a deep clean (carpet edges & corners, sanitize counters). A/C worked great and the rooms have amenities.

This was a pretty average hotel with a room. That was a good size, but not very clean. The coffee machine in the room was broken and the bathroom wasn't very clean. There was evidence of possible repairs being made with holes in the wall in the bathroom. Service was very good. And the breakfast was fair

Didn’t like anything about the property. The room was dirty. Blankets and sheets on the beds were not changed. There was a lot of hair in the beds. The bathroom also had a lot of hair.

Loved the hot breakfast. Disliked that after reporting our TV control was missing they just shrugged their shoulders. Was on the third floor snd very noisy neighbors til 3:00a.m. Room was comfortable and clean.

Didn’t like the tv set up. Wasn’t able to watch local news and the tv Roku didn’t work when it was raining. Also there were no cookies available at check in and the beds were nothing special.

Good size rooms. Clean. The rooms with 2 beds are 2 double beds, not queen size. Good breakfast. Thin floors--I found the sound of people tromping above me annoying. Requested a top floor room when I made the reservation but there were none available when I checked in.

Was an average hotel room, nothing special. I did appreciate having a hot morning breakfast, with eggs, potatoes, and sausage, some variety would have been nice, it was the same thing every day. Floors and walls are pretty thin. Can hear a lot from neighboring rooms. I was on the second floor, the guest in the room above me was very loud, I could hear every step from side to side of the room, so loud it woke me up every morning.

I loved my stay, comfortable and nice. Two suggestions: More lighting in rooms and check outlets and appliances for working order. Several of the outlets in my room didn't work and the main area of room is a bit dark, could use more lighting.

Cozy hotel on the outskirts of small SW Minnesota town. Nearby attractions include Ramsey Falls (walkable) and the casino on Lower Sioux tribal land. Parking is plentiful and easy. Entry is welcoming and is eating area, which features morning breakfast area. There’s a very small fitness space and hot tub. The fitness room is a touch sad with super old equipment. Rooms are quiet and clean. They have been recently updated. The downside to this property was the bathroom and wireless. Bathroom shows tired plastic bath / shower surround. Very little traveling products for guests too. The wireless was also extremely touching.

Enjoyed our stay at Redwood Lodge. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was the lighting in the room, Not many lights and the ones that were there were to bright and no way to turn them down.

The staff was great, the rooms were clean, they provided a shuttle too and from the event we came for. It was a very nice place and would definitely stay again if ever in the area. The staff even suggested places to visit as we weren’t from town. Ramsey Falls is a must visit, and it’s free!

Our overall experience was fine. The room was clean upon arrival, but housekeeping during our stay was disappointing. They took the tip but only replaced the dirty towels—nothing else. The bed wasn’t even made. Breakfast was the typical low-end hotel offering, which was fine with me. However, they struggled to keep up with demand, and the trash cans overflowed. They had cookies available in the lobby most of the day, that was a nice touch.

This hotel is run by very wonderful people who must love what they do because everything was great!! There was fresh cookies 3 times from 3pm to 10pm, very nice friendly girl at desk, breakfast was best I’ve ever seen at a hotel and we travel a lot!! Very impressed!! I rate it a 10 out of 10!

The room I (a woman traveling alone) was given was a conjoining room, and the other customers were very loud at night. I called the front desk, and they didn't seem to care about my concern for my safety. They had the attitude of well, that is just the way it is. Lesson learned, ask for no conjoining room and to be by the senior citizens. If it was just the noise, I could have gotten over it, but the fact the next room customers were banging on the conjoining door to tell me they didn't like that I called the front desk was harassment and made me feel unsafe.

At check in, host noticed I had been booked in a pet room. With no pets, she changed my room to what might have been a slight upgrade? Room had a spa tub and 2 small refrigerators which came in handy. Breakfast, as others mentioned, had options not commonly available at the price point, including real eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, strawberries and blueberries, yogurt. Good coffee.

One of the best places we’ve stayed at. Clean and great service. Lots of nice touches like fresh cookies, wax warmers made it welcoming. Breakfast was stellar with real scrambled eggs with bacon bits, sausage, potatoes, waffles and biscuits and gravy. Plus fresh fruit. We will be back.
