Pool wasn't open, maybe because it was filthy. hotel was very dated.location wasn't bad

Nice hotel for reasonable price. Good breakfast. No elevator. Fun town with Wizard of Oz Museum.

Wish the pool would of been open to use, especially since it was 100 degrees!

Someone unsuccessfully attempted to access gas tank, ruining entire fuel neck and creating large bill from my mechanic. Set your car alarms if you do plan on staying here. Best advice, go elsewhere. Pool dirty. Full of debris. Water unclean.

Didn’t like there was no elevator. We are seniors and had to carry luggage upstairs

Wonderful except hot tub was not able to be utilized. I was with someone who loves hot tubs and it was the reason we booked. Otherwise everything else was wonderful.

Wamego is an amazing town. We LOVED our visit. The hotel was average ... dated but comfortable. The morning crew was wonderful. Breakfast was good. Overall we had a very nice stay, EXCEPT we wanted to swim. We were too late in arrival to go swimming, and the pool didn\'t open til 10 am! With checkout at 11 that to us said "we don\'t want you to swim." My daughter was heartbroken as the reason we chose this hotel was its outdoor pool. I just can\'t understand a hotel that does not allow its guests to enjoy a morning swim -- especially when it\'s almost 90 degrees at 8 in the morning.

2nd floor room and there is no elevator. Very inconvenient

We really enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is no elevator to the second floor. Beds are average, breakfast was very good!

It was filthy! Sink & shower were very dirty!

Room had a musty smell. Bathroom had a very strong urine odor. Carpet had not been vacuumed. Bathroom ceiling had huge wet spot with stained ceiling tiles, apparently from bathroom above. A homeless guy was hanging out in the lobby both evenings and had his bags and bed roll in the breakfast area. Bright spot was the breakfast. It was simple but tasty.

ROOM SMELLED LIKE SMOKE....U HAD TO ASK TO HAVE ROOM CLEANED...BREAKFAST WAS OK.. STAFF DID GET U WHAT U NEEDED...CARDS HAD TO BE REDONE ALMOST EVERYDAY. .DRYER BROKE

Overall our stay was good, convenient to planned activities. We did find a few bugs in the tub when we checked in and again in the morning.

The staff was courteous. The room was stayable. The shower was not clean and had hair all over in it. Decent spread for morning breakfast.

We looked forward to a nice quiet weekend but it was ruined by the brick hard bed in our room at Wamego Inn and Suites When we checked in, our king suite had been given to someone else. We were given a queen room. After some time, the front clerk called the supervisor and put us in room that was a king suite. Do not reserve here unless you like sleeping on a concrete slab! We were unaware of the bed condition until we finally got in it after 11pm. We did not sleep and woke up with a terrible neck ache and body aches. Further, we were exhausted for the rest of our activities that day. Weekend ruined. We asked the front desk if there was a room with a better bed and got "no, all the beds are the same" very dismissively. We went to the room and packed our things refusing to be tortured one more night. We again asked for a different room and were refused. Another employee standing nearby commented "yeah! some of the beds are really bad!" Further, they have absolutely refused to refund our second night stay though it was the Condition of the room that made us leave. Expedia contacted the property and they refused to refund our night. We should get both nights refunded. Do not stay at Wamego Inn and Suites unless you are into excruciatingly hard beds and poor customer service

Property is dated, but clean. Room has an old smell. Bed mattress sunk in middle, but we did sleep good. Our stay was good.

People above us were still tromping around at midnight and it disturbed our sleep. However, after reporting it to the staff, they quieted down. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The only other thing was, by 8am the eggs were watery, sausage looked under cooked, and not appealing.

We arrived around midnight after driving all day from Santa Fe, NM. The man at the front desk was very friendly and check-in was quick and efficient. The hotel was quiet, and we got a good night's sleep. The free breakfast was good.

Beds were not the most comfortable

Our first night there, the hotel staff prepared a pot roast and mashed potato dinner which was included in our stay. Very delicious. There was a lot of noise in the middle of the night either above or next to our room. Sounded like people throwing things against the walls or floor. Lasted for more than 10 minutes.

Need new mattresses in the rooms

Our first room, a king suite, had an awful musky smell, was warm, and muggy even with the AC unit cranked up. The chair and fridge both looked gross. We switched to a different room, a double queen, which was perfect-night and day difference. Bed was a tad firm for my preference, but the facility was quiet.

Very friendly staff at the desk .. 1st room was ok just missing towels and toilet paper but front desk moved us to another room .. thank you for great hospitality

The staff was amazing. There were always 2-3 people in the lobby making sure guests had everything they needed. The breakfast area was constantly being cleaned and the area was spotless. The hotel is a little bit old but they take such pride in keeping everything nice for guests. The workers were so friendly and of course, loved on my pup Buddy. It was very very quiet and I had a great nights sleep. Highly recommend.

Nathaniel the check in clerk was very polite and helpful. After we checked into our room and found the bathroom sink was clogged up and didn't drain we went back to the check in area. Nathaniel immediately placed us into another room. He also lent us a fan for our room. He had excellent customer assistance.

The hotel overbooked, what i booked was a room with 2 queen beds for 2 adult and 2 children but what we received was a room with just 1 king bed. The staff provided cots but it just wasnt what i had booked. Luckily we were only there for 1 night.

Check in was friendly and efficient. No problems with any of our stay. We would book this hotel again.

The guy at front desk was obnoxious & rude. The 1st room I got was not even made or cleaned. Sheets laying on floor, dirty towels, totally uncalled for, why would you even try and have someone stay in an unprepared room?? When I went to front desk the obnoxious rude desk clerk asked what was the problem, I explained the situation and he asked what do you want me to do about it. The second room was made but the odor was unbearable. When I asked him about it he said again what do you want me to do about it, not my problem. No offer of another room or any compensation !! I've stayed here before and it was nice clean and quiet. Also the beds were like sleeping on concrete blocks. No elevator, had to pack my suitcase up stairs then back fown after moving me to a different room. I will NEVER stay here again if I have to pay for rudeness!!

Great place to stop and see the little Wizard of Oz Museum and the burgers at 4th and Elm were fabulous!

Nice property in a small Kansas town. We stayed there while traveling to a football game in Manhattan. Enjoyed the breakfast before heading to the game. Prices a little lower than staying directly in Manhattan. Plus, we enjoyed seeing the town the next day. What fun to see the Wizard of Oz museum and the Yellow Brick Road!

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast with lots of options. The TV reception was terrible except on 5 or so HD stations. We would recommend Wamego Inn. Its a 15 minute drive to Manhattan. Though we didn't have time to explore, the downtown area was very quaint and clean with interesting shops and the OZ museum - lots of Toto statues around.

We always find this hotel to be clean, super quiet and always a good hot breakfast included! We also love the convenience of being right near access to the major highways. It's also very close to the larger city for additional dining and entertainment options.

Easy access from the highway. Not having an elevator would have been difficult if my room had not been on the first floor.

The hotel was charming, although a bit of an older model. It had a nice swimming area and the breakfast was delicious. Personally my favorite part of the hotel was its staff. They were pleasant and friendly and did their best to make your stay troublefree.

breakfast was poor I traveled with another person who works in the food industry and sausage did not look done,, potatoes were not done and cold.. gravy luke warm and biscuit cold.. rooms were clean .. front staff not overly friendly

While the staff and hotel were fine, the breakfast was terrible. The sausage didn't appear to be fully cooked. My friend got sick after eating it. I tried to eat the hashbrowns, but they were not fully cooked either. I did eat a muffin, to be on the safe side. It's a great place to stay for an overnight trip. Be reminded, there is no elevator.

The King Suite was musty smelling and didn’t have the recliner chair that was on the Expedia website. We asked to move to a different room and they gave us a double Queen that was much better. The breakfast was good with my favorite Belgian waffles. They had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy plus cereal and yogurt.

Nice hotel. Quiet rooms and breakfast was abundant.
