The women who were running the hotel were consistently cheerful, helpful, and hard-working. The guest work-out room and laundry room are examples of the thoughtful planning for travellers. Our room was huge and spotless (bedroom with small fridge, living room with microwave, and bathroom). Breakfast, included in the price, was delicious - with lots of choices like delicious coffee and tea, eggs, sausages, pancakes, fresh fruit, bagels, yogurt, etc. I'd just suggest including a gluten-free cereal like Cinnamon Chex, or certified gluten-free oatmeal as additional choices for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. My husband and I loved staying there and will do so again!

I appreciated the location of the hotel and the easy check in process. I was thoroughly disappointed with cleanliness. Whoever cleaned the room before I stayed there must have sprinkled hair all over - there was hair on the toilet paper roll, folded into the face towel, in the bathtub, and finally in the bed. I found these as my evening progressed, thinking it's a one-off, and yet I kept finding hairs. The property failed to offer any compensation to make it right, and said they would take a note and let housekeeping know. Disappointing.

First floor room. Upon opening the door the room smelled damp and stale. The carpet was damp to the touch and dirt on the walls in room and actual dirty kids handprints on the wall in the bathroom. Unable to move us due to hotel fully booked. We went out and bought air freshener so we could mask the smell and we were eager to check out in the AM. Breakfast minimal…cereal and frozen breakfast sandwiches you had to microwave to warm. juice machine not working…we left and went down the road to McDonalds for breakfast. Never staying here again.

Hotel Is Old and Not Well Maintained. Room had an odor, bathroom not well cleaned (hair), bathroom sink would not drain (stopper not working), bathroom door squeaks, toilet seat loose, finally the actual toilet (with tank) was loose and wobbly!! Exterior: Missing Downspout. How could the hotel’s team not notice the issues?? Breakfast was prepackaged egg sandwiches (with bacon or sausage) …… fits with the hotel - Low End. Will not stay at a Travel Lodge/Wyndham Property again.

Staff was friendly when checking in & out and provided all necessary information. Breakfast was basic continental. However, the smell of the hotel and room was very musty. Not to mention the carpets felt damp. We had booked and paid for 2 nights (non refundable) and left after the first night for another hotel. I would not recommended.

We arrived in the room and found a dirty and wet towel in the bathroom. No clean towels were left in the room and made me wonder if the room was even cleaned…The rooms smelt very funky — like a mix of cigarette smoke and some type of burnt veggie. Overall, I’d find someplace else to stay — don’t make my mistake!

We stopped on our way to eastern Canada. We wanted something that was fairly easy to access. This was excellent. We got a bedroom suite where my kids had the bed in the common area and we had the bedroom. After spending 5 days with teens it was nice to have our own space. Lots of amenities around (gas, groceries, shopping) Very clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast. Easy enough to get downtown Saint John if you don’t mind driving there. Would definitely stay there again.

Check in staff was very friendly and professional . Daytime staff was not very approachable . Window needs better light and noise blockage. This suite need better lighting too. We had to utilize every single table lamp to get adequate lighting ! There’s three in the bedroom and the sitting area was dark with one table lamp and a small mirror lamp . Water pressure on shower head was too low to get a quick shampoo. Room was a bit warm and there’s no thermostat to control the temperature. We would open the window except it was raining and the traffic noise was significant. It’s an older building so you do hear the neighbors moving around. For one night, it’s adequate. Would not return if staying for several nights.

Upon arrival there was nobody at the front desk to check us in. We waited 10 to 15 minutes and I then looked up the phone number and reached the general manager who was in his adjacent office with door closed and he didn’t know where the front desk person was. So he checked us in but the room keys didn’t work once we finally got up to our room and we had to trek back down to get them activated. Not a good experience at all. Other than that it was ok but I wouldn’t stay here again and I will probably avoid Travelodge in the future.

I want to specifically compliment the fellow whose name is Parth. I think that's his name. We stay at this hotel frequently and he took the initiative to learn my name so he could say hello whenever I come in now. Also..another staff person, a woman, helped me out with a messed up Expedia reservation when Expedia could not help me. This stay was December 10th. Bot h of these individuals really deserve a special recognition for taking initiative beyond what I ever expected and made my stay perfect. Great staff!!!

This was a good place to spend the night in Saint John. It isn't anything fancy but it is clean and the bed was comfortable. A bit outdated but the room we were in had a separate living room and sink area which was nice. The bathroom had everything we needed as well. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok. Just a few minutes drive from downtown and there is a grocery store right next door which is convenient. I would recommend staying here.

Er wordt ontbijt aangeboden, meer een Canadees ontbijt. Jammer van plastic bestek met uiteraard de wegwerpcups. Direct aan een drukke weg, wat in de nacht zeker meevalt. De kamer is gigantisch groot. Ontbijt in een weekend of fst dag kun je niet gebruiken als je met de ferry van 8.00 gaat, omdat je 1 uur tevoren daar moet zijn. Het ontbijt is dan niet om 6, maar vanaf 7 beschikbaar.

Comfortable beds but very outdated decor and furnishings. The room we stayed in had a big red stain on the carpet. Also, the breakfast was not good. The breakfast sandwiches tasted like something you would get out of a vending machine. Furthermore, there is no pool or hot tub. Not worth the price we paid.

The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable, but the lack of lights made it feel dark and clamped in. The air condition unit worked half-heartedly, and in the stairs, elevator and corridors, it was very hot and stuffy. We had only one shower towel for a room with space for 4, and there was no plug for the bathtub. The breakfast buffet was lacking several items and it was not kept clean. The tables and chairs in the eating area were very worn down. There was one single person in charge of managing both the breakfast buffet and the reception, and she was wonderful, but clearly overwhelmed.

July 2025 - we stayed here for 2 nights during our travels of the East Coast. We found the location convenient and easy to travel outside of town (to St. Martins). The staff was friendly, the room was as expected. The breakfast was good but limited for those with dietary restrictions (dairy free and gluten free).
