Our room was big and had a small fridge and microwave. We had a view of the Bay of Fundy which was nice. Breakfast was included and was simple but adequate. This Inn is ageing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Guest laundry was listed as an amenity but was out of order. But the staff allowed us to use the hotel laundry equipment during our stay.

Good for the price. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were clean. Some of the features are quite dated. A few of the lights were not functional, the AC was quite dusty and the small freezer section of the fridge was caked in ice making it hard to use. Arrive early for the free breakfast because we got there at 8am and there was only bread and cereal avaialbe. Check in and check out were both easy and the laundry facilities were efficient.

Washroom was very clean. The room walls and doors needed some spot cleaning.. nothing too serious Staff were friendly and very helpful. The view of the harbor is fantastic when its not foggy. The facility exterior is getting some renovations and repairs done so it's only going to be better for the next visit to town. Will stay here again. Solid 8/10

The hotel could use a face lift. It is handy for the ferry to Digby, however, it was tough to park the motorcycle on the uneven parking lot pavement. The place generally left one with a vague impression of neglect. It’s in a fairly remote location with few walking-distance dining options. Like many of the hotel experiences on our motorcycle tour, providing USB outlets is a must

The place being under renovations is something we should have known ahead of time. I don't think there was anyone else in the building over night, which was unsettling. Also, the laundry: cold water when selecting warm, and clothes didn't dry.

The fridge in our unit (109) was not clean. Also there was a lot of dirt under and behind the furniture. Other than that, the bathroom and bedding and towels were clean. The view from the back of the motel is beautiful.

We can honestly say in our 54 years of travelling this was the worst experience. There was never anyone at the front desk. The entry mat was a tripping hazard. The room floor turned our socks black. The toilet was broken. We told them but it wasn’t fixed! The tub was slippery and unsafe. The breakfast area was disgusting: sticky, floors, tables, counters and boiled eggs sat out unrefrigerated for days.Laundry room garbage was overflowing and appliances were covered in 1/4 “ of lint. Computer didn’t work after they assured us it did! Expedia needs to remove this location from their website. We expect a full refund or we will cancel our Expedia membership!

This was a good stay while stopping over in St. John. The view from the window was amazing. The hotel itself could use an overhaul but it was clean which is of utmost importance. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was typical continental style which was plentiful to get us going on the road.

The property looks a little rundown from the outside, so we weren’t quite sure of what we had gotten ourselves into. However, once we went in, the room was clean and spacious. The best feature is that the sink was separate from the toilet and shower. This makes it much easier to get ready for our family of 4. AND an extra kitchen space and sink!!

Second time staying at this motel overnight before an early ferry the next morning. For an economical motel this is a good choice. Quiet, comfortable beds, good shower. Our only issue was with the air conditioner which is situated so high up on the wall it was difficult to reach the controls. Couldn’t figure out what all the symbols meant either. Nice-sized mini fridge, microwave, room was large. All in all a good stay, handy to the ferry

The service leave at the hotel was NIL, upon arrival the front desk was more concerned about cleaning their car then telling us anything about the accomodations. No information about the breakfast in the morning, times, locations ect. We stayed for 2 nights, the beds were comfortable but we never had a rooms cleaned our restocked with clean towels, coffee we left the room at 7am and did not come back till after 6pm. When we tried to speak to the front desk they, suddenly would pick up the phone to speak to someone, not make eye contact - no response after waiting 2 times over 15 minutes each time. Needless to say we did not get any restocking for the next day and were very happy to leave early the next day! Would NOT recommend this hotel if your looking for customer service.

The receptionist was not friendly. Even though she was not busy, you can still see the impatience on her face. Yes, you can feel it. The air conditioning was not working and it was hot in the room. We called and a technician showed up and repaired it soon by just switching plugging power source. The reason was simple: the power socket it was plugged at the beginning lost power. It provided free breakfast, which is good for travelers.

Friendly and really easy check-in and check-out. Very spacious room and clean. Beds were very comfortable but should have mattress covers and not just simple bedsheets. Shower was great but no bodywash or conditioner. Only downfall was tv only had 2 channels. As for the breakfast, good variety of bagels, toasts, snacks, boiled eggs, delicious waffles but no fruits. Juice and milk was from cartons instead of dispenser. Coffee and hot chocolate available. Unfortunately there was no napkins and no one around to refill. Would recommend it for short stay.

I think if you were only staying one night it would be fine. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot. I stayed 5 nights. I asked for housekeeping every day but that did not happen and when it did after calling multiple times to get someone to just clean the room all I got was fresh towels, blankets thrown on the bed and that was it. The floors were not swept the entire time. The breakfast was okay when they had stuff. They ran out of milk one day. Eggs for two days . They don’t keep it stocked and you cannot find anyone to ask for things. The fridge in the room needs to be defrosted as it was freezing all our food we put in there. No hot water to was dishes and then a mouse ran across the floor one night. So maybe for one night it’s okay.
