The hotel is of so called “Svalbard standard”, i.e. a tiny bit lower standard than Radisson hotels normally in western countries. We expected slippers and bath ropes, which were not included in the standard rooms, However, the staff was always very service-minded. We were upgraded us to a room that met our expectations. The outdoor jacuzzi was a nice experience, although you are expected to walk up to the bistro bar by the reception and buy your drinks. The breakfast was good, also for vegetarians. The beds were way too soft, but all in all a very good hotel and stay. Great staff in the whole hotel and restaurants, and a special shout-out to Camila, Tove, and Mads.
