I had a very nice stay here. Friendly, helpful staff and great breakfast. The room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. I also booked a time for the outside jacuzzi, which was a great experience under the stars in the polarnight. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Longyearbyen.

Overall a nice hotel with an amazing breakfast. Difficult to get to eat at the main restaurant for supper so we always ate elsewhere. Also impossible to get into the jacuzzi. Perhaps mentioning that we should reserve these when we book the hotel would help with this? We were told this when we checked in but at that point it’s too late. Expedia says there are laundry services (hotel) and laundry facilities (self serve) but there are no machines to use. This is very misleading as we often use this information to choose a hotel. Very disappointed with Expedia for this as this was the case for 3 hotels on this trip that we booked.

Dejligt placeret hotel med alt hvad man ønsker. Fortræffelig morgen buffet og til aftenhygge er verdens nordligste bar placeret i hotellet. Nemt at booke tid til wellness og receptionen tilbyder sms service til nordlys. Selvbetjent maskine til at checke ind og få printet Bording pass og bagage labels i foyeren. Lidt slidt på værelset, døren til minibaren var i stykker, ligeså skuffen under kaffemaskinen. Håndtaget faldt af på vandhanen i vasken, men kunne nemt sættes på.

Taking into account where you are 500 miles from the North Pole! This is a Excellent hotel! Location excellent , Breakfast excellent choice & breakfast Room views , Pub food on site excellent pizzas only gripe Plant based burger had No burger and was just salad in a bun?? I tried to explain a plant based burger means with a McCartney or Beyond burger included? But they didn’t get it? Superior rooms are best views of snow capped Mountains Hot Tubs & Sauna lovely (small fee for use)

Hotel confortável. Mas bastante impessoal. Meu quarto, muito bom, ficava num anexo, cerca de 20 metros, o que ficou desconfortável porque o cafe da manha era no predio principal. Com o inverno rigido, necessario se vestir completamente pra tomar cafe da manha. Anunciam que tem spa ( cobrado adicional), mas nunca tem lugar. Somente 8 pessoas na sauna, com horario marcado, e a jacuzzi tambem. Tudo lotado. Tentei agendar na hora do check in. Nao tinha vaga e o spa nao abre na segund-feira, que seria o meu dia livre de atividades. Desapontamento.

Our stay was great, except for that one day that we didn't get to use the sauna and jacuzzi because it's maintenance day. Breakfast is sumptuous. Customer service is excellent. Staff is very helpful. The lobby looks like it needs some renovation. Place is very close to restaurants, shops and grocery store, walking distance to the water. My husband even briefly saw the Northern Lights one night. Can't wait to come back.

Rooms are clean and modern, very comfortable. Instant hot water and great pressure in the shower. Front desk staff is very friendly and always very helpful. The hotel offers text message alerts for northern lights and thats how we saw the most spectacular display during our visit.

Likte rommene jeg brukte ved mine 2 opphold den siste uka, men pga dårlig løsning på rør fra badekar så stinket det råttent på 2 av rommene jeg benyttet. Når det ble kommentert på så var personalet veldig behjelpelige med å prøve å finne alternativer som skulle være bedre. Vi ble oppgradert til et nyoppusset rom med god standard. Det rommet kunne med fordel vært utstyrt med mer plass til å sett toalettartikler og knagger ut over det ble det et godt opphold.

Sentrumsnært hotell . Litt slitent rom. Tynne puter , og det luktet litt av sengetøyet. Badet luktet kloakk. Hotellet ordnet opp i dette på en utmerket måte. Hyggelig og meget serviceminded betjening. Det vet å ta vare på gjestene sine.

Veldig fornøyd med alt, renholdet var det ikke noe å utsette på. Eneste var at det var fryktelig varmt på rommet og litt knotete å få vinduet opp.

Opphold med familie. Positivt overrasket over romstørrelse på familierom (juniorsuite), godt med innhold på hotellrom. Kaffe, kakao, tea, morgenkåpe og slippers, alt du trenger på badet. God service og renhold, svært fornøyd! Variert og god frokost, absolutt en pluss.

Hyggelig betjening og nyoppusset fint rom. Overrsaket over at det ikke fantes noe å sette fra seg toalettmappen på på badet. Savnet også nattbord innen rekkevidde. Det var plassert en hylle over senge-gavlen, men den var plassert så høyt oppe på veggen at man måtte reise seg opp fra sengen for å nå den.

The hotel is absolutely stunning by Svalbard standards! We had a room in the older building, which worried ar first, but ended being incredible! The restaurant was very good as well, breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend it! The only negative comment we have about our stay is the fact that not a single person warned us about the tap water having VERY HIGH levels of manganese... We only spotted the rather innocuous signs in the lobby AFTER checking out... A sign in the room seems like an obvious precaution... Needless to say, it definitely soured our impression of this otherwise great hotel

The room was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful in every situation. The buffet staff were also friendly and welcoming. The bar staff, especially one woman were very energetic and welcoming. I will definitely visit again and recommend this place to others.

When you arrive from the airport, you take a bus that drops people off at all the hotels and there is number of people to check in at one time and they did a very efficient job in doing this..Remii what’s very helpful and gave me great information on where I should go to see sites that I wanted to look at.Irina was especially nice also and check out is supposed to be at 11 o’clock and they’re going to allow me to stay till 2 o’clock because I don’t board my expedition ship until 4 o’clock, so that makes it perfect… and there was no charge for this!!! the breakfast buffet is excellent with a beautiful view!!! it’s simply located and very close to the ports that you board your ships on! Highly recommended

This is a unique and very special hotel in Longyearbyen. The staff is phenomial especially at the breakfast area and the front desk. Most of the employees were from Argentina and Brazil. They helped my elderly parents in multiple ways to ensure they had a restful stay. Thank you. This hotel is clearly a 10/10 and I'll be back again

Wir hatten einen super Ausblick, mit Blick auf die Berge. Zimmer sauber, Personal immer hilfsbereit und freundlich! Frühstück hatte ein ausgiebiges Angebot! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und vieles mehr war innerhalb von 5 Minuten Gehweg zu erreichen. Bustransfer zum Flughafen vorhanden, klappte auch alles reibungslos. Abholung bei Buchung von Touren ohne Komplikationen, alles super! Wir kommen wieder!

Good location near the upper end of the main walking street. Airport shuttle buses stop on the main street in front of the hotel. Quite amazing to have a nice hotel in such a remote location

I had a very nice stay here. Friendly, helpful staff and great breakfast. The room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. I also booked a time for the outside jacuzzi, which was a great experience under the stars in the polarnight. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Longyearbyen.

Super fint ophold. Hotellet ligger perfekt meget centralt i byen og tæt på universitetet. Det var nemt og gå rundt til alt. Hotellet var behjælpelige med booking af ture. Det kostede penge og benytte de udendørs spa, hvilketvar lidt ærgeligt. Morgenmaden var lækker og aftenensmaden i begge restauranter var virkelig også anbefalses værdig

Taking into account where you are 500 miles from the North Pole! This is a Excellent hotel! Location excellent , Breakfast excellent choice & breakfast Room views , Pub food on site excellent pizzas only gripe Plant based burger had No burger and was just salad in a bun?? I tried to explain a plant based burger means with a McCartney or Beyond burger included? But they didn’t get it? Superior rooms are best views of snow capped Mountains Hot Tubs & Sauna lovely (small fee for use)

Hotels are expensive on Svalbard, and so is also this one. I stayed one night before a cruise and had a good night there. Check-in was slow, but many people came from the airport at the same time. The hotel has good restaurants and the breakfast was rich with a lot of choices. Also, nothing is far away in this little town of Longyearbyen.

The staff are wonderful. Beds are comfortable. Showers have great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The restaurant offers great food at breakfast and dinner. The pub has fantastic food as well.

Overall a nice hotel with an amazing breakfast. Difficult to get to eat at the main restaurant for supper so we always ate elsewhere. Also impossible to get into the jacuzzi. Perhaps mentioning that we should reserve these when we book the hotel would help with this? We were told this when we checked in but at that point it’s too late. Expedia says there are laundry services (hotel) and laundry facilities (self serve) but there are no machines to use. This is very misleading as we often use this information to choose a hotel. Very disappointed with Expedia for this as this was the case for 3 hotels on this trip that we booked.

Superfin utsikt från frukosten och mysiga rum. God frukost med mycket att välja på. De två restaurangerna som fanns på hotellet var vi tyvärr inte så nöjda med, ta en drink i puben var okej men maten i båda restaurangerna var dålig, konstiga smakkombinationer, inte så vällagat och små portioner. The hotel is of so called “Svalbard standard”, i.e. a tiny bit lower standard than Radisson hotels normally in western countries. We expected slippers and bath ropes, which were not included in the standard rooms, However, the staff was always very service-minded. We were upgraded us to a room that met our expectations. The outdoor jacuzzi was a nice experience, although you are expected to walk up to the bistro bar by the reception and buy your drinks. The breakfast was good, also for vegetarians. The beds were way too soft, but all in all a very good hotel and stay. Great staff in the whole hotel and restaurants, and a special shout-out to Camila, Tove, and Mads.
