Wonderful introduction to Svalbard. The restaurant was very good with Arctic fare on the menu, in a lovely setting. We saw our first Arctic fox whilst having breakfast. The staff were brilliant with a special shout out to the girl from Namibia on reception- so sorry I can’t remember your name, but it was lovely to meet you!

The breakfast was amazing, the communal areas are really cosy and there are plenty of bathrooms to share. There were also really nice toiletries. The actual rooms are extremely simple though but the bed was super comfy and that was the only time I spent in the room (sleeping), so I would probably stay here again.

Thank you Anastasia and the rest of the helpful staff! Available constantly and helped with my 10000 questions. Super clean and comfortable. I don't like sharing bathrooms but they are kept clean and my room was near a "luxurious" one. Everything you need is in the common areas, which makes you feel more connected to others. Restaurant and service AMAZING. I loved the reindeer steak. Breakfast included= needed and fantastic way to start your day in the arctic.
