Lovely oasis in a beautiful neighborhood. Owners Pat and Anna took great care to welcome us and accommodate any requests. A home away from home. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts in the elegant dining room with a view of the beautiful garden and their friendly golden retrievers.

Aberdeen lodge was fantastic. Pat and Ann were wonderful hosts. We had the three bed room and had enough room for all 3 of us. The bathroom was fantastic. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Pat was fantastic about giving us all the information we needed to get started on our travels. He helped us figure out the bus and rail system. Restaurants that were their favorite in town. It was a wonderful stay. The lodge is beautiful. Free parking. He allowed us to come in early to our room as our flight came in first thing in the morning. The brought up cake for us on our last night. We had breakfast one day and it was fantastic. The people that work for them were friendly and helpful as well. Perfect Stay and Perfect Location in a small town but 10 minutes from Dublin and a few minutes from the water!!!!

Aberdeen Lodge is in the Sandymount area of Dublin. It is a lovely property, clean and comfortable and the grounds are well kept with flowers everywhere. The host is kind, helpful and welcoming. We arrived several hours earlier than check-in time because of an overnight flight. It happened there was a room ready and they graciously let us check in early. There is ample parking on the property, but the bus stop is just a block or so away and can get you to where you need to go. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The owner went above and beyond to provide insight on local travel/sightseeing/restaurant suggestions. The property itself is gorgeous, immaculate, clean and walking distance to the sea and two small villages. Very easy to access Dublin via public transport. They service your room daily. Providing continental/traditional Irish breakfast options. Definitely recommend!

Pat and Ann are wonderful hosts. Lodge is very clean , room was great. Very quiet location but walking distance to bus thats takes you to Dublin city centre. Location is great for food and beverages close to tbe beach.

Zeer aardige familie die deze lodge runt. Alles was keurig schoon en het gebouw staat in een statige buitenwijk van Dublin. Enige probleem is dat de inrichting van de kamers zeer gedateerd zijn en wel een nieuw uiterlijk nodig hebben. Wastafel heeft bijv. geen mengkraan, maar nog een 2 kranen systeem. Bart station (metro) is op 7minuten loop afstand, waardoor je binnen 10/12 minuten in het centrum van Dublin (Pearse station), daarna is het nog wel zo'n 20 minuten lopen naar bijv. St. Stephen's Green. Fijn verblijf, maar ik vond de prijs per kamer, door de gedateerde inrichting en gezien de afstand tot Dublin city center, niet waard.

It’s worth being a little bit distant from Dublin for a good nights rest in an stress-free setting after a long day of sightseeing. This Hotel breathes the comforts of home. It was wonderful! We loved that it was just a bit outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Dublin but could get downtown by bus, train or taxi easy enough. You can take a walk by the sea! Loved it! Bed comfortable., spotless room, amazing breakfast, great service! Hope to be back someday!

Was arriving after 13 and the manager rang to let me know he would wait for me to arrive and not to rush , was helpful on directions to the lodge .room was amazing big ensuite and comfi bed after long day . Will stay again most defintly .

Lovely old house with very welcoming staff. The breakfast was also good. Excellent location for the DART into Dublin, too. The only negative was the very noisy plumbing which sounded like a jet taking off when the room above flushed the toilet and the creaky floors when they walked about their room.

Our stay at the Aberdeen Lodge was lovely. Pat was so accommodating and helpful! It was a safe and comfortable base for us to explore Ireland for the first time. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a personal, individualized and comfortable experience.

Aberdeen lodge was fantastic. Pat and Ann were wonderful hosts. We had the three bed room and had enough room for all 3 of us. The bathroom was fantastic. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Pat was fantastic about giving us all the information we needed to get started on our travels. He helped us figure out the bus and rail system. Restaurants that were their favorite in town. It was a wonderful stay. The lodge is beautiful. Free parking. He allowed us to come in early to our room as our flight came in first thing in the morning. The brought up cake for us on our last night. We had breakfast one day and it was fantastic. The people that work for them were friendly and helpful as well. Perfect Stay and Perfect Location in a small town but 10 minutes from Dublin and a few minutes from the water!!!!

Aberdeen Lodge is in the Sandymount area of Dublin. It is a lovely property, clean and comfortable and the grounds are well kept with flowers everywhere. The host is kind, helpful and welcoming. We arrived several hours earlier than check-in time because of an overnight flight. It happened there was a room ready and they graciously let us check in early. There is ample parking on the property, but the bus stop is just a block or so away and can get you to where you need to go. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Pat and Ann are wonderful hosts. Lodge is very clean , room was great. Very quiet location but walking distance to bus thats takes you to Dublin city centre. Location is great for food and beverages close to tbe beach.

Lovely place, a warm welcome and great staff. Will stay here again for sure next time I visit Dublin. The dart or the bus are just down the street and takes you to the city center within minutes. Thanks for everything Anna!

I really enjoy staying here, this my third time here. The rooms are very nice. It is in a quiet neighborhood and transportation is very easy with the bus running in front of the B&B and the train just 5 minutes walking. It was easy to get into the main part of Dublin. The food is very good. I will stay again and highly recommend this B&B.

We loved everything about Aberdeen Lodge. The hosts are amazing, place is beautiful and the location was very convenient to us. We needed to be close to UCD and wanted to stay not too far from the city center. Aberdeen Lodge was a perfect choice. Highly recommending to anyone wanting to stay in the peaceful location and close enough to Dublin's attractions.

Absolutely exceptional! Everything about Aberdeen House completely exceeded my hopes and expectations. The lodgings are wonderful, beautifully restored and exquisitely maintained. The staff are uniformly pleasant, professional and helpful. Your host, Pat, is unfailingly courteous, patient, and generous with his time and local knowledge. The neighborhood is beautiful, eminently walkable, and convenient to the seaside as well as the charming village of Sandymount. Even the dogs and cat are friendly and pleasant! The bus line is less than 100 m from the front door, and the train is an easy five-minute walk. Either will take you to downtown Dublin less than 15 minutes. I’m traveling solo on this visit to Ireland, and can’t believe my luck that I was able to reserve at the Aberdeen House. I’m already planning a return visit with my GF, and will absolutely plan on visiting Dublin and staying at Aberdeen House again!

It was wonderful! We loved that it was just a bit outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Dublin but could get downtown by bus, train or taxi easy enough. You can take a walk by the sea! Loved it! Bed comfortable., spotless room, amazing breakfast, great service! Hope to be back someday!

Lovely old house with very welcoming staff. The breakfast was also good. Excellent location for the DART into Dublin, too. The only negative was the very noisy plumbing which sounded like a jet taking off when the room above flushed the toilet and the creaky floors when they walked about their room.
