Jeg hadde et veldig fint ukeslangt opphold på hotellet. Rommet var fint og servicen god. Hotellet ligger sentralt, men litt unna det verste nattelivet. Dublin express fra flyplassen stopper rett utenfor hotellet. Svømmebassenget er veldig stort og fint. Godt organisert slik at det både er rom for barnefamilier på dagtid og for oss som liker å svømme på morgen og kveld. Treningsrommet er ikke bare det vanlige lille rommet, men nesten et fullverdig treningssenter. Minibank i resepsjonen. Den var i ustand da jeg kom men ble fikset etter en dag. To heiser, men den ene var ute av drift hele uken da jeg var der. Bestilte romservice en kveld. Ikke imponert.

What an experience! This hotel is worth the money you pay. The room I got was large, clean and tidy. There was no noise that disturbed my sleep at night. My room is impeccable. Guests at the hotel were allowed to use the pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna. As well as the spa department. The only minus I have to say was the volume of the music in the bar/reception. I understand that there should be some music in the evenings as it is played in the bar, but not during the day. For me it was far too loud. Highly recommend the hotel!

Prima geslapen met balcon raam kon ook open. Alleen werkte maar een lift en die viel ook uit dus mensen moesten wel zeven etages omhoog lopen. Uitchecken was langzaam hele rij waardoor ik mijn geplande bus naar airport miste.

Stayed here while attending a concert in the Three Arena. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and professional. The room was very well laid out with everything you'd need without being large. The bar area was large and comfortable with very knowledgeable bar staff. The pool area was clean and the gym was a good size. We purchased the breakfast as we'd booked room only. It was well worth it as there was a great selection of breakfast options for whatever someone might want. Overall a fantastic stay and it'll be my first hotel check if I'm planning on staying in the vicinity again.

One of the 2 lifts was perpetually being repaired. The average waiting time for the lift was 20 min. Horrible! I took the stairs for my one week stay. Gym was big and well equipped, nonetheless.

It was a nice hotel with the exception of two things. There was only one elevator operational for a 7 floor building. The other minor issue is that the rooms were a little dated. The hotel will require a refresh in the next couple of years.

Our check-in process was easy. The facilities are quite nice, aswell as the breakfast, although their rate was different on a following day. There was AC in the room, but ended up turning it off as it did not function. Reduced parking was not great, but the alternative of INC nearby worked for us - person on the hotel gate buzzer could have been more welcoming…

Vores 5.gang i Dublin og 2.gang på Spencer. The Spencer virker efterhånden lidt slidt og træt. Vi boede der 3 nætter. Den ene dag kom der ingen housekeeping - lidt træls. Der er ret lydt - om natten kunne vi høre naboværelsets TV og et pling hver gang elevatoren stoppede på 2.sal. Ved check-in var der så høj musik fra baren at det var svært at føre en samtale med personalet. Til prisen er det ikke pengene værd - vælg evt. Hilton Garden Inn i stedet - det ligger lige ved siden af og er noget bedre.

Hotel corridors had a lot of empty glasses outside rooms and doors to rooms were quite shabby and could do with a redecoration. Also, there was a lot of noisy building work from about 7.00 a.m. that we hadn’t been advised about in advance. Bar was a bit chaotic as regards service.

Our stay at The Spencer Hotel was very disappointing. Check-in was not pleasant — the reception staff were unfriendly, with the exception of who we believe was the manager. It set a frustrating tone for the stay. The room was small, with carpets that felt a little dirty, and it was definitely not soundproof — hallway conversations and doors slamming were very audible. One of the two lifts was under construction, something not mentioned at booking. We watched an older couple give up after waiting more than 10 minutes and struggle to haul their luggage down four flights of stairs from the second floor. It was honestly painful to see and completely unacceptable. The hotel is not kid-friendly. There were no vanity kits or other thoughtful extras, and overall, it felt very basic. The location is convenient and accessible, which may work for business stays, and the Rituals products are a nice touch. However, for tourists or families, this hotel is not ideal. Unfortunately, the service, noise, and lack of comfort make it hard to recommend.

- Lage des Hotels am Fluss Liffey sehr schön - Restaurants, Cafés, Bars und Supermärkte in der Nähe - zumindest das Personal im Health-Club war sehr freundlich - freundliches Personal in der Bar im Lobby-Bereich - Baustellenlärm im Zimmer, auch samstags - Aussicht auf Müllcontainer - Lärm durch Müllabfuhr sogar um 23 Uhr - Boden im Badezimmer schlecht gereinigt (der Duschvorleger, färbte sich, als er ein bisschen nass wurde grau, durch den Schmutz am Boden) - ständig Schutzwäsche auf den Gängenbenso dreckige Tabletts und Bierflaschen - Poolbereich stark verschmutzt, ebenso die Sauna und der Bereich rundum das nicht nutzbare Jaccuzzi - alles in allem ein sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt

Hard to fault. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Reception looked after our bags before check in. The hotel was clean. It was easy to get to and parking charge was reasonable for over 24hours. Breakfast was excellent and again staff were extremely helpful. They kindly filled our water bottles with water and ice for the day we had ahead. The room had a lovely balcony from which I could sit and enjoy the river and passers by. The bed was comfortable though we were too warm. It was a hot day though.

Really liked my stay here. The room is good sized, comfortable and modern furnishings. Room with a balcony is very nice to have -- great view of the river. Location is close to the light rail train, so easy and quick to get to the city center. Bar/restaurant downstairs is very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Upon check in, we were given an “upgrade” to a junior suite. The room was adjacent to a building site and we were woken at 7:30. Also, the balcony door was not tight. It was noisy and let in the cold. Had to keep the curtains closed so workmen on building site couldn’t look in.

My first room was on the 7th floor. Unfortunately there was an air con unit above me which disturbed my sleep. I asked to be moved and told that they were full but they could accommodate me in a room on the 1st floor. This was a much smaller room and at around 6:30 to 7am building work beside the hotel woke me up. I asked again for a better room and on my return they gave me a room at the front of the hotel on the second floor. The problem with this room was that the double glazing was ineffective and the traffic noise was constant until the early hours. BUT it then started up at around 5:30 am. Very disappointed with this hotel and I would not stay there again unless I was given a quiet room.

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel because my son was already there with his class and I decided to stay close. The front desk staff are supper nice and they will help you any way they can. I kind of didn't like their breakfast rule. If you didn't book the day before, they will charge you 3 euros more due to I don't know what. If you stay in the hotel, you are a privilege guest and you shouldn't be charged more. One other thing I didn't like was that we booked a spa and due to traffic we were 15 min late. I know it was our fault but they should understand that this is a completely foreign country for us and we are not familiar with the transportation system. They charged us the full amount and I was like I would definitely mention this in my reviews for others to know there is no credit form their ends. Moreover, the concierge was supper nice guy named Philip who helped us a lot. He is a supper understanding guy opposite of the others.

We had a very enjoyable one night stay. Our experience at check in was especially good. We had arrived early but realised that our room might not be available as it was a Saturday. We returned an hour later and were told that the room was not ready yet. However, Tommy overheard our story and was able to get us a room….. he was very kind and helpful. Our room was comfortable if a bit too warm. Breakfast on the next day was very good especially the fruit. One small complaint was that we couldn’t get a bottle of the hotel water. We drink a lot of water at breakfast.

Check in was terrible, booked a room with Twin beds got given a double, had to wait 45 mins until someone came to room to sort this, rather than just changing room. Very cold staff, we booked breakfast when got to hotel and then they wouldn't refund us when we didn't have breakfast, Carparking we were left in an underground carpark for quite a period of time waiting for hotel to open the gates to get to our car, even though a member of staff walked us down and just left us at gate. Not a great experience at all from the may hotels we have stayed in.

Outside of the downtown area but located right on the River Liffey. Easy walking to everything. Health clube had a nice jacuzzi, along with lap pool. Buses stop right outside of hotel to and from the airport. Very convenient. Nice place. Our room had a lovely small balconey with table and two chairs!

I stayed three nights at the Spencer with my adult daughter. I took the Dublin Express bus from the airport and it was fast and inexpensive. The bus stopped across the street from the hotel so very convenient. All the staff were great and accommodating and they lent us umbrellas on a day when it rained. The Luas was a two minute walk behind the hotel so very convenient to transit and get around to anywhere we wanted to go but we found it was not that far to walk either so we often just walked. It took us 17 minutes to walk from the hotel to Trinity College and it was an easy, flat walk. We booked a basic room but found it to be very spacious with lots of natural light and a separate sitting area. Beds were extremely comfortable. I also liked being just a little outside the city/action as it was quieter at night. And there was a Tesco express a couple blocks away to get snacks and bottled water. I also feel the price was good for this level of accommodation. One of my daughters lives in Smithfield and I looked at the Maldron and the Hendrick. Neither are as nice as the Spencer yet they were both more $. So, overall, very happy with this choice and would definitely look at staying at the Spencer again

A perfect hotel for tourists or people traveling to Ireland. Walking distance to 3Arena, EPIC, and the convention center. Walkable and surrounded by dining options. The room was great - quiet, comfortable, with a gorgeous balcony. The view was stunning, and the check out is noon - perfect for adjusting to a bit of jet lag. I will definitely be staying here.

Pleasant check in Bedroom clean and beds & pillows very comfortable. The sound proofing was good as we didn't seem to be disturbed by others during the night which make a pleasant change. This meant we were able to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good value and Chefs will make your eggs to order when you ask your server. Only niggle was the music in the foyer, lounger bar and lifts were not appropriate to style of hotel and customers (rave/trance). When checking out I politely brought this to their attention and this was well received by the receptionist, it seems she was fed up with it too 😁

Had the best stay at this hotel for Taylor Swift. It was buzzing, cocktails were delicious especially the Swiftie on was a nice touch! Breakfast was gorgeous too. Deffo be back here !

The room was clean and tidy and well provisioned. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The only reason I have given 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the quality of the breakfast I had with them. I was seated and offered tea & coffee and pointed towards the buffet. The buffet was well stocked but everything was stone cold. Not just tepid, absolutely cold. I mentioned this to the on duty servers and one of them then told me that there was a menu option. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast and had them change the scambled tofu for scrambled egg. When it arrived almost 15 minutes later(!!), it was missing items. By this time though, I needed to get going so as not to miss my flight and couldn't argue the point any more. Hotel breakfasts are always expensive. This one definitely wasn't the most expensive I've ever had/paid for, but it wasn't worth the money I did pay unfortunately. I'd stay there again. But I wouldn't pay for the optional breakfast and I'd spend my money elsewhere.
