We were pleasantly surprised on arrival and our room seemed acceptable and comfortable, but soon after we went to bed we realised that we were not going to have a good night’s sleep. Our room was directly above the bar and as soon as the band started playing & singing, we could hear every single song, word for word & note for note. Very loud! To make matters worse, the window of our bedroom turned out to be directly above the smoking area/beer garden outside the bar. We could hear all the conversations, and shenanigans of those below. My children found it impossible to sleep. This went on until 2am. We were all exhausted the next morning from lack of sleep. Why put a family with young children into a room located right above the bar and beer garden on a busy Saturday night? We told the receptionist on checkout but she simply said she would pass it on to management. We have heard nothing more.

It was a nice hotel but I wasn’t happy that once I had booked the hotel I then got a message to say the pool was closed. It should say that before you book. My kids were disappointed. Overall though it’s a nice hotel and we got a good rate.

Staff are all friendly and helpful and our meals in the restaurant were at a reasonable price and lovely. The room was a good size and very clean and comfortable. The multi story car park, although large, is very tight for parking and manoeuvering a vehicle.

The hotel was unexpectedly a hidden gem. Made the reservation on very short notice after a confusing day at the airport. Expedia was easy to book this hotel and when we arrived the front desk staff was very pleasant, accommodating, and professional. There was a restaurant and bar in the lobby and the food was superb! It was our first Guinness in Dublin and it was fresh. The wait staff was quite professional and very efficient. One of the kitchen staff (possibly the chef) came out to ask how the meal was, making the meal much more enjoyable with a friendly conversation. He even offered to take our photo for a memorable evening. The bar was elegant and had that Irish charm you’d expect for a hotel pub. There was a bit of an issue with a room across from ours involving some noise and unattended small children. I notified the front desk and the hotel manager plus several of the staff responded in a professional and timely manner to resolve the situation. Due to our airport situation and not having luggage with us we needed a few things like soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. The lobby had a vending machine with toiletries for sale and it was very easy and convenient. The hotel did have a covered car park and it was a very short walk to the main lobby. The property was safe and we took no issues with the safety of our rental car. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in greenisle. Have stayed many times and beautiful job on refurbishment. Dinner and breakfast was really good no complaints. Good entertainment in bar. Highly recommend this hotel

Had to pay 100€ deposit which was not mentioned when booking we as a family had not budgeted for and had to do less things in Dublin than we had planned for swimming pool was not available at the hotel as it was closed room was not great noise coming from the bar and reception as we we're right next to it try to sleep with 2 young kids was a disaster room was grubby old carpets need a good clean was rust coming from the bolts in the bath would not was a dog in it paid €289 with no breakfast basically to say in a dump will not be booking again

Clean and standard room. Did the job for working nearby. Has covered parking. Helpful receptionist printed some items for me. Like all hotels in Dublin, you can end up paying a lot at times for a pretty standard experience. Didn't eat here, but bar was okay for a drink. At times very full of tradesmen working on the many sites around, so the place feels busy, especially at breakfast, which was again very standard.

room was clean, apart from a smell of smoke in my room. balcony had fresh cigarette butts on the floor. bed was old and could feel the springs through the mattress. Bar shut at 11:00pm. they close the shutters half way down at 10:45. no chance of a drink at all at 11:10pm. food was good though, staff were friendly.

das Hotel ist unsagbar schmutzig! Wir hatten Schimmel im Bad und um das Fenster herum. Das Frühstück wurde ausgegeben, wie in einer Kantine! Das Personal war teilweise unfreundlich! Der Haartrockner defekt! Das erste Zimmer war direkt an der Autobahn, sodass es unmöglich gewesen wäre, ein Fenster zu öffnen. Das zweite Zimmer war in einem alten noch nicht renovierten Teil. Alles furchtbar runtergekommen. Und das Ganze für mehr als 200 €! Unfassbar!!

Bathroom ceiling flaking and musty. No AC. on warm day requiring the window to be open , people all night long smoking and yelling in front of hotel. No fan in room. Poor value for the cost! Will not come back here for any price. Not a great area either.

The common areas were very nice and clean. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The first room we were put in smelled of mildew/mold and the sheets on the bed were wet. We had to ask for another room. The second room we had was right on top of the bar/ballroom. Music started vibrating the walls starting at 9am and did not stop until 1am. Additionally, there were people outside our window smoking and yelling. We had to then ask for a third room as none of us could sleep including our children. This hotel has lots of potential, but I can not recommend for the basic need of getting a good night's sleep in a clean and comfortable room.

Room 322 very shabby, furniture not up to standard. Lighting didn’t work properly, flickering a lot. It was to late in the late evening to complain as it was a long day and needed rest. Not the hassle of moving rooms. WiFi also not great.

Very poor sleep for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. We were kept awake for hours by corridor noise, doors banging and voices. Had to ring reception about the noise, they offered us another room but at thay stage we were exhausted. Worst nights sleep in what was suppose to be a relaxing hotel stay.

I had a one night stay here (Saturday night) as I had an event to attend in Dublin on Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is in good condition, with plenty of parking, good location for accessing different parts of the city, the staff were all lovely, and the breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. However, I had just about the worst night sleep ever. My room was on the main road side of the hotel so had road traffic noise. Also, the hotel has green uplighters shining on the hotel on that side and the light comes in over the tops of the curtains. Then to make matters worse, other guests were really inconsiderate and extremely loud on the corridors well into the middle of the night, and then again from extremely early. Also, on my return to the hotel in the evening there were three youths running rampage around the hotel (they didn't seem to be guests and most likely lived locally). They were accessing the upper floors through the staircases (you must have a key card to operate the lifts to higher floors), they were hanging around the elevators and vending machines, running screaming down the corridors, and were trying to intimidate me as I was going to use the vending machine (loan female traveler).

Paid for room with cash at check in and had to give another €100 by debit card incase room is damaged, but can take up to 5 days to be refunded back to account. Check out is 11am which have never heard of in any hotel i have stayed in, €200 for 1 night and check out by 11am? Sounds like lets charge them more and get them out quicker. Could hear every car passing by on the motor-way, when went to close window i realised it was closed and that was good as was going to get.

We had a price point in mind and a quality point as well. The Green Isle met both. Restaurant was good as was the bar. Aleks a young lady in reception was amazing with helpful tips and information, even more so when she realized we were from Canada and unfamiliar with the city. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

An absolutely lovely hotel with great parking facilities. Room was spotless. Breakfast was good and hearty. My issue is with the staff. We had missed within our check in notice that hotel demands a damage deposit on top of your hotel fee. This damage fee is an excessive E100. The manager i spoke to was most unfriendly and very dismissive and unhelpful even on a one off basis would not let us check in without paying this fee on top of the E166 we were already paying for the room. Will not be returning to this hotel any time sooom

The hotel were generally unhelpful, didn’t even consider a partial refund of one of the room charges nearly a week before our stay when we advised part of our group could no longer travel due to circumstances out of our control. We would have been happy with any gesture like complementary breakfast, but the hotel insisted that we had to pay full price for the room we couldn’t use without any concessions. We further arrived after a late flight and had requested a baby cot in advance, and when checking in were advised by the reception staff that a cot had been put in the room. However, when we got to the room, no cot was there and the room phone didn’t work, so we had to walk down to reception again with an overly tired baby to follow up on the cot. It was delivered after a wait, but without a mattress, with loose screws, super dusty (all we could do at the late hour was to wipe it with a damp towel), and a full size bed sheet instead of a fitted cot sheet, which is super unsafe for infants and kept us up worrying the whole night. Also, the rooms are dated and walls are super thin, we were woken up by the guests in the next room talking.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The phone in our room did not work, and I had to call reception using my U.S. cell phone, which added unnecessary cost and inconvenience. Although I was assured the issue would be fixed, nothing was ever done — even after three days. The hotel also overcharged us by nearly two and a half times the standard rate, simply because there was an American football game in Dublin during one day of our stay. This kind of price gouging is unacceptable. As so-called compensation, we were offered a drink voucher for a local beer and a wine spritzer. My wife and I do not drink those types of beverages, and the staff refused to provide an alternative. Later that evening, the manager approached our dining table and gave my wife a vodka tonic — which was appreciated but came after the fact. He acknowledged my concerns and advised me to speak with the morning manager. When I raised the issue with the female manager the next morning, she was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. There was no apology, no follow-up, and no effort to resolve the matter. Overall, our experience was unpleasant, overpriced, and poorly handled by management. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone expecting fair treatment or professional service.

** Do not stay at this hotel ** at check in you will be asked to pay for your room in advance which is fine, we were then asked for €100 security deposit on the room by card or cash, I asked if they did not just hold my card details which they said no, they actually charge €100 which they will refund when you leave (this could be a problem for some guests if on a budget), we had eight rooms booked for a family gathering, we arrived in the bar at 8.30pm, food was served till 9pm, we asked at 8.45pm to order and were rudely told the kitchen was closed. I ordered a tea for an elderly family member and again was rudely told the kitchen was closed that they have to drink tea from a paper cup. The bar then closes at 12 with no residents bar option. We vacated our room Sun am but didn’t receive our deposit as was told it can take up to 2 working days to reach our account

When we arrived at check-in, one of the girls was busy helping another traveller. We stood back to wait. The was another girl working at the desk, but she was busy stapeling some papers together. She didn’t see us at first, but when she did, she seemed to imply that it was our fault for not coming in front of her. When she talked, it seemed to us that she was yelling, talking loud with anger to her voice. We were given a room that the sun would have shone in all day and was right above where people were allowed to smoke and have conversations. The rest of the staff was kind and friendly. A man out back that was painting, told us where to catch the bus and how to get back. Very nice and helpful, especially after the girl that check us in. If you do not want to be on the front desk, get another job at the back of the house!

We stayed at this hotel so we didn't have to deal with the headache of traffic within the city. Overall the stay was nice. Our room was alongside the highway and we had to open the windows otherwise we'd be too hot so it was loud throughout the night. It's about 20 minutes from the city center and it was easy to get an uber. Good to save some money too.

Simple and easy check in. Room was good , breakfast was great. No issues during stay. Had no reason to engage with staff on any issues. Hotel is well out from Dublin. 40 min walk to the tram. The bus 69 stop is outside the hotel but is a long journey into city centre. Nice park walk if you turn left out of hotel.

Easy place to stay with free parking. We took the bus to the city as didn’t wish to bother with parking downtown as there was a big sports event. Otherwise downtown parking wasn’t so bad. The bus stop is right next to the hotel and takes about 30 mins or so. It’s an easy ride and allows you to see some local neighborhoods which I actually find interesting so even though not super close to downtown Dublin it still works well and is easily accessible. Hotel itself is good. Has everything a hotel should and the beds were decently comfortable.

Great place to stay overnight, staff were very welcoming, helpful amd warm. Spacious clean rooms and beds were quite comfy. Even with hotel being close to motorway the windows are soundproof and quiet at night. Good value for money and portion sizes with dinner menu. Breakfast is also very good value with choice of hot and cold foods. Would happily stay again

Very good stay while in town for the NFL game. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The food was very good. Nice buffet breakfast. The bar was lively and fun. Room very comfortable. Would stay again.

The room was fine, clean and had a tub, but the parking garage and garage elevator areas were super sketchy. Also, the pizza we ordered was straight from the freezer, not cooked all the way, and tasted horrible.
