Intermittent electricity interruptions, poor internet connectivity. Then to top it off, no water from 10 am Friday, so no shower or coffee. No offer of compensation. Must be Dublin’s “Fawlty Towers” hotel.

No real airconditioning only a fan. Tv didn't work. Said elevator to all rooms, but if you are on 6th floor you have to take the stairs which are very narrow from 5th to 6th. Hard with suitcases.

Everything was good, the service was great and the staff also. Hotel is a bit older and we knew that going in. The electricity went out one night in the whole building. We were put up on the 6th floor and that floor had a lot of people who partied all night and kept us up. Slamming doors, drinking, yelling, etc. The property is ok, just maybe bad timing. Also, two guys tried to pickpocket my wife right outside the hotel but I defended her and off they went.

Solo traveler. Really worked for what I needed. Staff was wonderful. Was able to check my bags when I arrived early. Everything clean and updated as best a Georgian row house can be as a modern hotel. The only thing was that there was no temperature control in the rooms and it ran quite warm. I realized on my last night that I might have been able to open the windows, had that been the case it would have been perfect.

Exceptional location! Quiet neighborhood walking distance to restaurants, bars, tourist attractions, hop on and off bus, shops, and city bus stops. Heritage hotel with nice rooms, friendly staff, amenities and great breakfast buffet. Some public areas of hotel (halls) could use an update, but still presentable, and breakfast restaurant/lounge area was very nice.

Very clean and quiet. Very central for walking to many of the historical and current destinations in Dublin. A half an hour walk will take you to many places! Plus the buses and tram and other transportation are right out the door. There is a simple and sufficient breakfast downstairs if needed. The rooms are very clean, and the staff is very helpful. I needed a reading lamp to give an additional light, and I bought a small light for that purpose. The staff was very accomodating and said they would have provided such a light if I had just asked! Everything was pleasant and perfect for my trip. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Small room but had what we needed for the night. The person who checked us in was lovely, very welcoming. The room was clean, bed was somewhat uncomfortable though, bathroom only had 2in1 shampoo/body wash which was a bit disappointing. The area is quite central so expect a lot of street noise if you leave the window open, however, the location is also great for walkability and for nearby food options/shops.

Hotel was the most affordable place we found for a great area in downtown Dublin. Location was fantastic, people were great. The room was small, hot, in the basement. To cool off the window needed to be open but is right by a bus stop so very loud. They were renovating the stairs during our stay which had exposed mold and nail boards. We needed a bed and bathroom which is what we received.

The building is very old. Tiles in our bathroom could use a change since some of them were broken. The bathroom sink could use a faucet that lets you regulate the water temperature because otherwise you can only choose between freezing water or boiling hot. Not pleasant. Also from our room we could hear everything that went on outside, in the hall and the floor above. Overall a great location, nice staff and clean room.

The room was very small, but we only needed a place to sleep and shower so that didn't matter. My only real complaint is that the room was unbearably hot and the window doesn't open enough for air flow. The staff were great. Kind and professional.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was pretty comfortable even though we were in the basement with no view. The bed and pillows were excellent as was the shower. The hotel served a purpose for us as we were at the rugby. Overall things were fine but it's not somewhere I would take my wife to as the rooms are small, dated and a bit basic with very little hanging space for clothes

Very small rooms and beds. It was warm and the fan provided made noise and did not provide alot of cool air and there was a constant pipe dripping or something making a noise. The front check in was very nice and rooms were available upon arrival

This hotel has a wonderful staff. We were exhausted after a long flight. They got us into a room early so we could take a nap. The Parnell bus stop is outside the hotel making transit very convenient. The staff set up a taxi for us as well. They were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is one block from Murrays. You must have a meal there. All dining, shopping, and entertainment is walkable from this location.

The staff were excellent. Very proactive in addressing the questions I asked and resolving a booking issue. The hotel is just off the main areas but an easy walk to them all. It is also well-connected by public transport. The room was quiet, giving a respite from the hectic schedule. Did I mention the staff? EXCELLENT!

Absolutely recommend a stay at Hotel St.George by Nina. From the front end staff to the house keeping staff, all of them were friendly, professional, and helpful. The building itself is very well maintained and located in a great area with a steady buzz and is in convenient area to reach the heart of the down town district.

Hay algo que no nos gustó y es que los cuartos están pobremente insonorizados, por lo que es fácil escuchar a los huéspedes de las habitaciones continúas; pero también debo agregar que cuando le informamos esto a la gerencia, nos cambiaron a una zona más callada y logramos descansar mejor. We loved the location, easy to get to from the airport #16 bus but you need coins or a travel card. The room was clean soap/ shampoo provided. Our room was at the back so it was quiet from street noise but being an older building you could hear people walking around in the room above. The bed was a double and very soft! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked that it was a 10’ walk to the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar etc. we used the tram, Parnell st bakery had delicious baked goods and there was also a Tesco just a 5 min walk. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to any wanting to stay in Dublin

The location of this property is ideal for anybody that wants to explore Dublin, and also wants to avoid the late evening noise. The staff were all nice and helpful. I found it a little strange that the breakfast buffet didn’t have sausages, as these are a favourite of mine.

Staff was friendly! We were able to store our luggage and do some more exploring in the morning. Convenient location. Bar/restaurant was ok. Pizza was a frozen cardboard thing but worked as we got in late.

Lovely breakfast in a lovely breakfast room. Very well priced property with a convenient lift / elevator. Very friendly staff. Property felt safe. Loved the Georgian old world renovated feel of an authentic experience. Lucky to be Away from huge hotels and crowds , but convenient as it is 1-2 blocks from all the action (shopping, restaurant, pubs, tour buses etc.) lovely place to stay on a budget.
