The Dawson Policy and Conditions: Check in from 15.00 Check out before 10.00 A valid Photo ID (passport/divers license or national ID) is required at check-in; we do not accept PPS, blue cards or age cards as a form of ID. We are a cashless property therefore all reservations must have a valid credit or debit card to be confirmed. This card must have available funds to cover the cost of the reservation, if it does not your reservation will be cancelled. Cancellation policy is 3 full days prior to your arrival date, the cost of a late cancellation is the total price of your stay. No show reservations are charged the same as late cancellations, the full price of your stay. Please note that The Dawson Dublin is an alcohol-free zone. We feel our priority is to provide a fun, safe, clean, friendly , value for money accommodation - for groups, for individual travellers, for families , for people of all ages and nationalities. For group bookings of four people or more, we may charge a group security deposit of €25 per person. This is payable on arrival by a pre-authorization on your credit card and is fully refundable on departure, subject to adherence to our house rules, which can be emailed to you upon request. For group bookings over 8 people, the cancellation policy for group bookings is 1 month prior to arrival and full payment will be taken at this time. All reservations of less then 8 people are charged 3 days prior to arrival as per the cancellation policy. Management reserve the right to refuse entry. Children under 18 are not allowed in shared dorms, private rooms only with a sharing adult. ( booking a shared dorm will result in the cancellation fee) House Rules are available at the reception desk and all residents are advised to take note of these to avoid any issues. This is a non smoking Hostel, smoking fee is €150 ( Tampering with any Fire equipment will result in an immediate expulsion from the hostel along with the fee to fix any such equipment, standard cost is €150 euro) We have a maximum stay policy in place of 7 nights. Should you wish to stay longer than this period, please contact The Dawson Management. There is no parking available at the property.
