Beautiful hotel and great location. Much quieter than the tourist areas but still within walking distance of whatever you want to see. Lovely rooms, very comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast is worth the price. Only down side is parking - it’s down the street and $18 euros per day. However, we made it work.

The hotel was beautiful and the workers couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bar was really nice with exceptional drinks and the breakfast buffet was good. Definitely recommend it.

Super easy to walk to all of the big tourist activities in Dublin (Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Castle, Temple Bar, etc.). Rooms were comfortable, had fully stocked Nespresso machines, and working AC. Fitness center was also one of the best I've ever seen for a hotel property. Area around the hotel is quiet, which was appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was brilliant, we stayed for one night in an executive king room; we were surprised when we arrived to be told we had a complimentary breakfast the next morning as we left a comment saying it was our anniversary. We also found out there was an exclusive lounge for the executive rooms only which had a fully stocked complimentary mini bar, with high quality snacks and a coffee machine - even with takeout cups to take with you while you explore. The bathroom was spotless, a lovely waterfall shower and we were provided with shampoo and shower gels (sachets could be 50ml instead of 30ml as for two people didn’t stretch very far - but i’m sure if we asked they would’ve given us another free of charge). We found there was no hairdryer in the room as advertised so we contacted reception who brought one up within 5 minutes. The rooms are soundproof so lovely to get a nice night sleep. Not too close to temple bar so no hustle and bustle at night however close enough for a stroll in and only around 15 minutes walk (10 if walking fast). Easy transport links, right near the train station. All of the staff were so welcoming, they looked after our bags pre check in and the same again from check out until our flight. We commented it was raining and they even provided us with a large umbrella!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in years. At check-in, we were given a room that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest. Trash was left behind, and the bed hadn’t been touched. This level of negligence is unacceptable. To make matters worse, on two of the three mornings of our stay, loud construction started at 8 AM, waking us up early and making it impossible to relax. The hotel gave no prior warning—no notice during booking, no mention at check-in, nothing. When we spoke to the manager, our concerns were brushed off with excuses. Apparently, basic communication and accountability are too much to ask. A simple email could’ve prevented all of this. Do yourself a favor: skip the excuses, skip the mess, and stay somewhere that actually values its guests.

Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and in a good location to all the amenities. Only complaint is housekeeping. We stayed 3 nights, no tissues, took away our room key to power the lights, didnt clean or replace our coffee cups for coffee machine....just seemed to not really care.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights to celebrate the New Year. The location is good, within 10 minutes walk you can get to all the main streets of Dublin, very close to the Natural History Museum. The area is very quiet. Unfortunately, the room was not ready when we arrived (check-in was at 4 p.m., we arrived at 2:30 p.m.), but the staff welcomed us very well. Our room was on the top floor (soundproofed on the outside of the building just fine, a little less so with the hallway but it was fine nonetheless), aesthetically very nice and spacious, the bathroom a little small but very livable. The only downsides are the absence of a smart TV (we couldn't install chromecast from the iphone, so we couldn't use the TV and the stained sheets (although the rest of the room was clean well). Value for money I would say was fine. If I were to return to Dublin, I would gladly return to The Davenport!

Easy check in, really comfortable and large room (we had a junior suite). Friendly staff and good breakfast. There is no residence bar or at least it was closed when we came back at about 10pm but the location is great so plenty of options at the doorstep. Parking for a fee just 2mins walk away. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived early and the front desk was very accommodating. They stored our luggage and expedited the cleaning of our room so we could check in. We had a 1Br suite which was very spacious with 1 1/2 bathrooms. Shower was large. King Bed was very comfortable. They also had a pillow menu, which was fabulous. We had breakfast daily in the beautiful dining room with a very pleasant staff. Food was good. The only suggestion I would make would be to change up the buffet items or ala carte options every few days. The location was in walking distance to everything! We would stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at The Davenport!! The staff were so friendly and helpful! The adapters we purchased for the outlets did not work for my husbands CPAP and one of the front desk associates came up personally with an appropriate adapter and saved the day!! They were also very helpful with providing insight on the area and pointing us in the right direction to wherever we were going. Be aware booking is non-refundable. We decided to take roadtrip down south mid-vacation and could not cancel those nights already paid. It was not a big fuss because we already knew this but for those of you that don’t read the fine print….. When we returned from our roadtrip our room was cleaned and ready for us with the AC on! Top notch stay! We will definitely stay here again!

We’ve been to Dublin before and stayed at other hotels, but the Davenport was excellent. It’s where we will stay going forward. Initially, there was a problem with our booking, but Abner came to the rescue. Kerry with the breakfast service was fantastic. We were traveling with our youngest daughter and she did everything she could to make it a special trip for her. Just a wonderful person. I never write these things, but our experience couldn’t go without the acknowledgment. I hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did. Slainte!

Davenport was a great location in Dublin. Not in the center of town, but on the Trinity College side, which worked well for us. The staff at the hotel was excellent, helping us out with some details and taking good care of us. Special shout out to Rosilex at the front desk. She took great care of us and was super pleasant and kind. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

Check in was easy. The hotel not only looks great from the outside but inside is very nice. The room was comfortable and eco friendly. Well thought out. Location is close to most areas of interest - walkable within 10/20 mins. Bus from the airport stops within 5 min walk. Staff were great - Charlene on our departure was GREAT, giving us fantastic local knowledge for the rest of our trip. Would recommend

We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay.

I initially traveled out for the weekend with my family to do some sightseeing and shopping in Dublin. Once the family returned home, I remained for two days of work.The hotel is perfectly placed, close to restaurants, shops, parks and places of interest. The Davenport is staffed well with helpful and friendly personnel, they certainly made our stay exceptional.

Väldigt bra upplevelse överlag! Nyckelkorten till hotellrummet slutade fungera ett par gånger, men personalen var snabba på att byta ut dem. Logistiken vid frukosten gjorde att det blev långa köer innan man fick bord, och påfyllningen gick ibland långsamt, men i övrigt var frukosten bra.

It was great. We stayed for 5 days and tried the afternoon tea and it was wonderful! Our waitress was Manuella and she was so attentive and patient with all our questions. We would definitely go back!
