I travel to Paris business often, I chose this hotel because I use to live in that area for many years. This hotel has gone through many changes and not for the better. I like the fact that the rooms are big and I can’t hear the people in rooms next to it. However the first floor in the back side of the hotel you can hear bar noise till 2 am, the hotel in general is getting rundown. In some of the rooms the showers suck, the front door to the hotel was broken during my stay. The room keys often don’t work, my mini fridge wasn’t working .. I think you get my point.

Good location, lots of restaurants and shopping options nearby within walking distance. Close to metros. Colourful decor. Pleasant staff, all English speaking. Cool secret bar serving mescal cocktails. Nice selection for breakfast. Only negative was dining options for dinner were not to my taste. Would stay there again.

The main entrance sliding is not working since the day i checked in, till i checked out its still down. Bottled water in the room was the refillable type but the bittlw cap was mouldy, i dare not drink from it. Bedside table was uneven

La douche ne fonctionnait pas bien. Pas de pression l'eau passe de glacée à brulant très pratique ! Le personnel n'est pas très aimable et parle peu français. L'accueil était improbable pas de bonjour "Vos cartes d'identite et vos carte bancaire"..... Le petit déjeuner était très bien, le bar caché plutôt sumpa. Pour autant je ne recommande pas. Il y a beaucoup mieux à Paris pour ce tarifs.

This is a cute hotel in a fantastic location that has large rooms for Paris standards, but it has some very serious cleanliness issues and is in need of a lot of maintenance. I got a fairly big room and the floor was so dirty that I couldn't walk without sandals on. I complained and they immediately vacuumed it. I was also given the wrong breakfast timing so missed it on the first day but was allowed to take some to my room and eat it there. The breakfast room is very, very dirty. Not a single table had been cleaned properly, and my plate had food stuck at the bottom. The front desk almost never has anyone present. At late night, the main door doesn't automatically open, so you have to ring a bell. When this happened to us, there was no one there. We urgently needed to get to our rooms so we rang the bell several times. The woman who had disappeared showed up to the door with a dinner plate in her hand and pasta hanging off her fork, gave us a dirty look before returning to her dinner. At check out time, 12pm, again there was no one at the front desk. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location but it needs an overhaul from top to bottom.

Vi havde et "Forstyr ikke"-skilt på døren den ene dag om formiddagen, og rengøringspersonalet kom alligevel ind på trods af det. Vi fik ikke rene håndklæder og toiletpapir en af dagene, selvom vi havde fortalt receptionen at det manglede inden vi gik ud at spise om aftenen. Et spejl var i stykker på badeværelset og generelt var rengøringen dårlig. En pose med indkøb forsvandt fra værelset og det er fuldstændig uacceptabelt. Hotellet er bekendt med min klage. Meget under standard for et 4-stjernet hotel.

Air conditioning, working elevator, good comfortably large hotel room, great location (short walk to a couple of Metro subway lines). Only consideration - bath tub/shower height from the floor requires hiking your leg up and over - along with good balance while on one leg for a minute with no handrails. So, if I were older, might skip for that one reason - getting in and out of bathtub shower is risky for someone with lousy balance or less flexibility in hips/legs. Overall, lovely hotel!

This is a cute hotel in a fantastic location that has large rooms for Paris standards, but it has some very serious cleanliness issues and is in need of a lot of maintenance. Séjour désastreux Un accueil très compliqué 3 changements de chambre. La première n’était pas prêt la deuxième ne s’ouvrait pas avec le badge et la troisième difficile d’accès. En compensation on nous offre le petit déjeuner mais surprise le lendemain matin on me demande de régler. Hôtel qui n’est plus un 4 étoiles. Deux conviennent davantage. Un hôtel qui a besoin de faire de gros travaux et de nombreux investissements pour être dans les standards d’un 4 étoiles

We had a an amazing 4 days in Paris for the start of the Olympics, and this hotel was situated perfectly within minutes of 3 metro stations and numerous restaurants and cafes. It was very easy to get to central locations and the airport. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is in a nice location, rooms are big, clean, and nice. The only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. I was misled by expedia description into believing that the buffet would be some grand peruvian cuisine. Instead it was like a 3 star holiday inn breakfast, no hot foods. Just deli meats, yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk, tea, orange juice, and bread. For a 4 star hotel, this ruined my overall view of the hotel. For such an expensive hotel to cheap out on the "VIP" breakfast is short sighted.

Loved this hotel! Ideally located, rooms are comfy, well kept and spacious; hotel staff friendly and eager to help. The Peruvian restaurant downstairs is excellent! Breakfast buffet is good, despite limited vegeterian options. One quick recommendation: Providing room slippers would be a nice plus!

I have stayed at the 1k hotel on three different occasions. Hotel is ideally located, close to Le Marais, Bastille and only a few minutes away from the subway station Filles du Calvaire. Hotel staff is gracious and eager to help. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well kept for the most part. Breakfast buffet is good despite relatvely limited vegeterian/vegan options. Loved the Peruvian restaurant downstairs that offers exquisite dishes! Overall a positive experience and a great stay!
