This is our second year, staying at Jackie’s home with our family. The beds are very comfortable and we had everything we needed for cooking. Nice table for games and a beautiful backyard to relax and read or hang out by the fire pit. We Love the location with a quick walk to the beach. spacious garage for extra parking or golf club storage. Jackie and her manager, Roger, are very attentive and quick to respond to any issues! It’s perfect for our family and will be back!!

The house is inside the 17 mile drive area. We loved the back patio area where we could relax and feel like part of the forest. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We really enjoyed the serinity. Checkout was a breeze. All kitchen equipment is available (cups, silverware, pans, etc.). Thank you so much!!!

Our recent stay at the property on The Old Drive could not have been better. The location was perfect with a close walk to the beach as well as from extended family who were also in the area. The sounds from the ocean while sitting in the back yard was more than relaxing. I cannot recommend this property enough and will definitely keep this in mind for future visits.

Easy access to Carmel & Monterey. Greeted by homeowner & property manager. Basic supplies for coffee, creamer, sugar, water, spices & plastic bags. This was great to have. Plus paper products. Fire pit did not work. Barbecue was dirty. Glasses & plates in cabinet not as clean as expected with a dishwasher. Trash can in bedroom had garbage- ie chewing tobacco.

We arrived just after a major storm had damaged much of the Monterey Peninsula, and caused a city wide power outage for 3 days. The owners had organized a generator so we were cozy. The maintenance person checked in on us and made sure we knew how to run it and topped us up with fuel. Impressive. The house was comfortable, with a lovely garden and in a wonderful location. Heartily recommend this rental.

The house is at a great location, very quiet and it’s a 10 minute walk to the ocean. The scenery is beautiful. The yard is also lovely. However, the house is not well maintained. We had issues with dishwasher and washer. The only comfortable seat to sit on in the entire house is the leather sofa in the living room. The other 4 chairs are all sagging and very uncomfortable to sit in. With 700 a night, I definitely didn’t expect that we had to hand wash dishes and couldn’t gather around in the living room due to lack of comfortable seating options. The owner did respond to my complaints but nothing was done during our stay. We are extremely disappointed.

5 starts all around!! This home was perfect for a trip to Pebble Beach! It was clean and spacious and had all that we needed for our family vacation. The home is located on a nice, quiet street by Monterey Peninsula CC. It's a short walk to the beach and is an easy drive to Pebble, Carmel and Monterey. The backyard is a beautiful place to sit and have a nice cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. We would certainly stay at the property again if in the area.

We had a wonderful weekend stay, such a great location with an easy walk to the beach and Pebble Beach facilities. Easy to get to Monterey and Carmel for day trips (10 min drive). The house is a little run down but nothing that stopped us enjoying our stay. We would definitely go again!

My family of 2 young adult children with my husband and I had a great vacation at this cozy house. It’s 2 blocks from the beach and golf courses with beautiful views and walking trails. Quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds, hot showers and nice kitchen. It was perfect for us and we hope to return!

I was hoping to give an excellent review however, I cannot. The beginning of the week all was pretty good. The positive...Great location. The negative...The tv stopped working, I emailed the host 3 times letting them know the tv was NOT working. Never got a response so I called the neighbor as the paperwork said to do and once again NO response.... And this was during the world series, which we were huge fans, and we were expecting to be able to watch it. Another negative was the couch... It was very old and very lumpy, quite uncomfortable.. I wish that I could say we would stay there again, but we will not. When you are the host, you should respond within a reasonable amount of time. We never got a response from anyone.

We had a perfect family stay in this cute house in the Del Monte forest. The three bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen well stocked and the garden an added bonus for both us and the dog! The location was ideal – just a short walk to the beach and pathways along 17-mile drive.

The property is at the best location possible. As some of the other reviewers have said, it's probably a bit better than the pictures. We had everything we wanted. It's not the most modern, but we weren't looking for modern. Communicating with the host, Jackie and the manger, Roger was a breeze. The check-in was very smooth and they also graciously accommodated an early check-in for us. The garden adds to the charm. The pricing was just right too. No complaints. We will definitely be back.

I was hoping to give an excellent review however, I cannot. The beginning of the week all was pretty good. The positive...Great location. The negative...The tv stopped working, I emailed the host 3 times letting them know the tv was NOT working. Never got a response so I called the neighbor as the paperwork said to do and once again NO response.... And this was during the world series, which we were huge fans, and we were expecting to be able to watch it. Another negative was the couch... It was very old and very lumpy, quite uncomfortable.. We had a great relaxing stay, the house is nicely located to visit Carmel and Monterey areas. We enjoyed walks along the coast line which is easily accessible from the house. The hosts were very accessible and responsive.

Absolutely fell in love with this place, it was neat and cosy. Well situated, within walking distance to the beach, with local wild life (rabbits, squirrels and deer) on your doorstep. It had all the amenities we needed in good working order. The owner went out of her way to help us with a minor front door key issue and shared her knowledge of the best local spots to visit - highly recommend this place, great place to relax and get away from city life.

The property is at the best location possible. As some of the other reviewers have said, it's probably a bit better than the pictures. We had everything we wanted. It's not the most modern, but we weren't looking for modern. Communicating with the host, Jackie and the manger, Roger was a breeze. The check-in was very smooth and they also graciously accommodated an early check-in for us. The garden adds to the charm. The pricing was just right too. No complaints. We will definitely be back.

We arrived just after a major storm had damaged much of the Monterey Peninsula, and caused a city wide power outage for 3 days. The owners had organized a generator so we were cozy. The maintenance person checked in on us and made sure we knew how to run it and topped us up with fuel. Impressive. The house was comfortable, with a lovely garden and in a wonderful location. Heartily recommend this rental.

My family of 2 young adult children with my husband and I had a great vacation at this cozy house. It’s 2 blocks from the beach and golf courses with beautiful views and walking trails. Quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds, hot showers and nice kitchen. It was perfect for us and we hope to return!

This is our 3rd stay in this house and we love the location and proximity to the beach. Our dog also loves the area for walks. The house is comfortable and close to so many things to do. We will definitely be back next year!

We had a perfect family stay in this cute house in the Del Monte forest. The three bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen well stocked and the garden an added bonus for both us and the dog! The location was ideal – just a short walk to the beach and pathways along 17-mile drive.

I visited this property with my mom and her dogs in July 2025 and we had the most lovely stay. The house was perfect and the backyard so peaceful to let the dogs out and for us to decompress. The location was absolutely perfect - being able to walk to the iconic 17 mile drive was so incredible. We didn’t realize how close we were to such stunning ocean views! It’s also an easy 15 min drive to Pacific Grove and Monterey, which are also very dog friendly. The neighborhood was so quiet, everyone was so nice, and the gate as an added security step made us feel safe and welcome as well. Thank you Jackie and team for the best summer escape

Honestly, the place was better in person than in the pictures. Super cute. Amazing back yard.Great location. We only needed to contact the host once to request an earlier check in, but she was responsive and accommodating.
