If you are an American tourist in the summer, avoid this hotel. AC was on a timer and only accessible by the front desk. Had to get up multiple times in the middle of the night from sweating to ask the front desk to turn it on. Had a baby in tow and made it miserable for him as well. Rooms are bare bones, shower is low pressure and drains are slow. Was told we even had to leave an hour before our checkout was listed online.

The hotel is located in a very central area, making walking to the main attractions very easy. The hotel facilities were average and good for a cheap stay but no kettle or fridge etc. Staff were polite and friendly but the biggest let down was the thin room walls which meant we could hear conversations and snoring from other rooms.

The hotel was good value for money and clean. What does let it done is the entrance from the street. It looks run down and at times had to rubbish in it. It did not give a good impression on arrival.

L'accès à l'hôtel se fait par une galerie, fermée à certaines heures. Accueil très bien. L'espace détente est un plus (on peut y prendre un verre à plusieurs). Propreté moyenne (quelques traces de salissure sur les rideaux ou dans les couloirs). Position centrale, permettant de visiter à pied une bonne partie de Lille.
