This beautiful hotel, formerly a family home, is owned and run by the loveliest couple. Charming, friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful and the view from our room included a very full apricot tree, the fruit of which was part of the delicious breakfast we enjoyed in the back garden. Would return here if we are in St. malo again.

Ideal hotel if you're heading back to the UK on the St. Malo crrosing as only 7 mins drive from the port. Breakfast is a really good continental, all brought to the table, and they seem very used to serving breakfast slightly early so getting to the ferry on time is easy. The is parking ar the front of the hotel, but the gates are really tight and it's difficulty to get an angle at them; I found it necessary to reverse out with wing mirrors folded in (E class Merc). If you're concerned about being blocked in or getting in in the first place, there is ample free street parking outside the hotel and, I noticed, guests heading for the ferry had all street parked. For eating in the evening, your best bet is by the old port (they'll give you a map and suggestions), but it is 1.5 miles exactly; parking down there didn't look good and you probably need to reserve a table on a Sunday evening. The hotel can help you with this. The staff are charming! The rooms are good, but can be rather warm even with windows propped wide open; there is no air con. Having said all that, I would happily use again pre ferry.

Lækkert værelse med altan. Lille badeværelse med badekar. Dette bør fjernes da det er meget glat at stå i !! Meget god morgenmad. Desværre ikke i gåafstand fra restauranter, men kvarteret er stille og roligt.

A real gem. On arrival the owner made us very welcome and throughout our stay he was extremely helpful. A nice, quiet, well appointed room and an excellent breakfast.The location is ideal for exploring the area. You can walk to Intra-Muros (The old town) or there is a bus stop nearby. There are also a couple of bikes you can hire from the hotel, which we did. Plenty restaurants nearby to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. We hope to return in the future.

Very friendly welcome, great location. Tight parking but at no charge so that was welcome. A fan in the room would have been nice as it was very warm during the night. Bed was super comfy. Our room was quite small for the price but then it was during August. We would have needed a bigger room if we were staying for longer (which we would like to do). Loads of quality window shopping to be done in St. Malo and some great seafood on offer, so we'll definitely be back :-)

Hotel in excellent location to visit St Malo, Dinan and Dinard. Very attractive town house/hotel. Parking but tight entrance. Room immaculate. High quality continental breakfast. Hotel staff delightful and couldnt do enough for you. Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed twice, start and end of our trip around Brittany.

Mais pour le reste : - chambre à la déco surannée, sale, télévision minuscule, salle de bain d'une autre époque avec les équipements dans le même ton - une baignoire sabot trop petite pour prendre un bain et trop exiguëe pour prendre une douche Le tout pour 135€ sans le petit déjeuner.... et encore ! J'ai été gratuitement surclassé car je n'avais pas de... bureau dans la chambre prévue... les photos parlent d'elles-même

Everything about this beautiful small hotel lived up to expectations. From a very warm and friendly welcome to accommodating us with an early breakfast due to a change in ferrydeparture. Without hesitation, we would stay again and highly recommend the hotel. The breakfast itself deserves special mention. Not only was the food plentiful and varied, the exacting table setting stood head and shoulders above other hotels stayed in during our trip. Attention to detail is evident, the hotel is also so clean and at some point we look forward to returning for a longer stay. Thank you both.

Perfect for an overnight stay prior to catching the morning ferry from St Malo. We stayed with our 6 month old and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or friendly (especially the gentleman on check in). Comfortable room, stylish interior and delicious breakfast. We’d stay again!

Thix us a delightful small hotel in the town of St Malo (as opposed to being in the walled city). It is only about 5 minutes drive to the port, so ideal if you're catching a morning ferry. Of particular note for the breakfast, it is billed as a continental breakfast. However, that hides the fact that there is an extensive selection of items with an emphasis on homemade products. The quality is first-rate. We have used this hotel before, when catching the ferry back to the UK in the past and we will almost certainly use it again in the future.

A real gem. On arrival the owner made us very welcome and throughout our stay he was extremely helpful. A nice, quiet, well appointed room and an excellent breakfast.The location is ideal for exploring the area. You can walk to Intra-Muros (The old town) or there is a bus stop nearby. There are also a couple of bikes you can hire from the hotel, which we did. Plenty restaurants nearby to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. We hope to return in the future.

Very friendly welcome, great location. Tight parking but at no charge so that was welcome. A fan in the room would have been nice as it was very warm during the night. Bed was super comfy. Our room was quite small for the price but then it was during August. We would have needed a bigger room if we were staying for longer (which we would like to do). Loads of quality window shopping to be done in St. Malo and some great seafood on offer, so we'll definitely be back :-)

This beautiful hotel, formerly a family home, is owned and run by the loveliest couple. Charming, friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful and the view from our room included a very full apricot tree, the fruit of which was part of the delicious breakfast we enjoyed in the back garden. Would return here if we are in St. malo again.

Ideal hotel if you're heading back to the UK on the St. Malo crrosing as only 7 mins drive from the port. Breakfast is a really good continental, all brought to the table, and they seem very used to serving breakfast slightly early so getting to the ferry on time is easy. The is parking ar the front of the hotel, but the gates are really tight and it's difficulty to get an angle at them; I found it necessary to reverse out with wing mirrors folded in (E class Merc). If you're concerned about being blocked in or getting in in the first place, there is ample free street parking outside the hotel and, I noticed, guests heading for the ferry had all street parked. For eating in the evening, your best bet is by the old port (they'll give you a map and suggestions), but it is 1.5 miles exactly; parking down there didn't look good and you probably need to reserve a table on a Sunday evening. The hotel can help you with this. The staff are charming! The rooms are good, but can be rather warm even with windows propped wide open; there is no air con. Having said all that, I would happily use again pre ferry.

Perfect for an overnight stay prior to catching the morning ferry from St Malo. We stayed with our 6 month old and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or friendly (especially the gentleman on check in). Comfortable room, stylish interior and delicious breakfast. We’d stay again!

This was our fourth visit to this lovely small hotel in St. Malo; it is ideally situated for a morning ferry departure back to the UK. Although breakfast nominally starts at 08.00, the owners were very help with an earlier time. It sounds odd, but a highlight is just sitting in the garden with a glass of their, very reasonably priced, wine before going out for a meal (Can I suggest Bello Mio, which is less than 5 minutes walk away - prebooking is essential). We will certainly return on our next round trip via St. Malo as the experience is a very nice way to round off a holiday.
