Pool was disgusting and not working, the gym was shut down and the bar was not open at all. Nothing in the pictures and amenities were accurate.

The property is showing wear and tear. First night there was a lot of noise. Second night was quiet. Breakfast was very very limited. Swing shift and night shift employees were less attentive. Day shift staff was great. Good reliable transportation to the airport. I would stay there again for the price.

The pool was not available, the fitness center was not available. They both said closed due to maintenance.

I loved everything except the pool wasn’t open.

The building is terribly rundown. Furniture is skint up It needs to be replaced or repaired. Carpet is old and needs to be replaced. The elevator quit working during our stay , causing us to have to go up three flights of stairs several times. We are not in the best health and my wife suffers from MS. Microwave quit working in the kitchen but a staff member did manage to “ wiggle “ it and get it working. ( Huge fire hazard) I would not recommend this hotel nor will we be back. Although I will say that the gentleman that checked us in was very kind, considerate and professional. I hope that these things can be addressed because if I owned the place , I would want to know. I am not a complainer , but these things are serious . I am a top contributor on Google in reviews and information but I will not lust these issues online. I would like to give you an opportunity to address them. I will be back in Charlotte in 6 weeks and will stop by and do a walk thru. I will make a decision then to review your business online. Thx.

Mold on curtains and in bathroom. Strong smoke smell in hallways. One elevator working.

Basic fix your own breakfast placed on the counter that doubles as the bar area . They advertise hot breakfast and bar area no housekeeping to change towels or trash. Shuttle bus only went to the airport.

Its an older property. The rooms are a decent size and if it was keept up more it would be better than average. But the wear and tear is very apparent. The pool was advertised BUT it was closed and filthy, greenish brown water. They need to cover that up. The front desk staff were nice.

They advertised a pool that was in working order, and a bar that was open, none of that was true.

I had an unfortunate experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable, but unfortunately, everything else was quite disappointing. Some of the sheets had undissolved detergent stains, the elevator was out of service, the pool was closed, the ice vending machines didn’t work, and there was no drinking water available for guests. The overall condition of the facilities is very poor: the toilet kept running and making a terrible noise, and I had to lift the lid and fix it myself to make it stop. The furniture and carpets throughout the building and in the rooms are in very bad condition and not properly cleaned. None of this matched what was advertised on the app.

The carpets were filthy. Entire property reeked of marijuana. Bad ventilation in hallways and elevator.

Lots of bugs in the building. When walking through hallway there were bugs flying around - in the room we killed a huge moth and roach. Have pictures for proof. Front desk wasn’t helpful just disgusted and moved us to a new room on third floor. First floor lots of bugs.

I won’t be staying here again - while my bed was clean I felt like everything else in my room was dirty. The carpet was coming up over by the bathroom, there was a pimple patch on the ground in my bathroom, and paint scrapes everywhere. This hotel felt dirty & scary, many people checked on me after they saw where I was staying.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. It’s beaten up and run down. All four floors were incredibly hot in the commons areas and the rooms wouldnt get cold. In a heat wave! The walls are filled with holes and chips and scratched/ flaked paint. The breakfast bar had roaches. The bed linens had makeup on them from a previous guest and there was hair in the bathtub. The toilet was running all night and the carpets were wet and sticky. Absolutely disgusting

Oh, where do I begin ... the check in was not friendly. When we got to the floor the hall reeked of musty smoke odor. The room # 413, also reeked of musty smoke odor, and the bathroom reeked of straight bleach.The toilet handle had to be jiggled every time, the tub dripped, the tub floor had something all over it, we could not take a shower, the comforter had a cigarette burn (we were staying in a non-smoking room), lightbulbs were missing, the carpet was nasty, the freezer part of the fridge was totally iced over!!! This is the worst hotel stay we have ever had. I'd be ashamed to put "Wyndam" on the name. Never stay here!!!! We smelled so bad, sick, naseaus. Had to "febrezee" my car and everything inside not washable. Shame!!! Oh, the pool was green - pitiful!!!

Room needed a deep clean. There was food splattered on the walls like drink and above headboard.

Let me start by saying the outside of the hotel was clean and inviting but once you get inside it was horrible. Once I got pass the front desk the smell of gas was overwhelming and once I got in the room the gas would've knocked you out. The carpet was flity and the wallpaper was peeling. The toilet was running Needless to say I checked out immediatley and booked another room.

Terrible smell in hallway and room. Just unclean overall. When we were in bed under the stiff covers, I happened to look down at my forearm and noticed several bites… which appeared to be bug bites?? We inspected the bed, didn’t see anything. But the rest of the night was miserable. Not sure if it was in my head or actual constant bites, but the last 3 hours I stayed awake in a panic. Would never ever stay here again, even if they paid me to stay in their best room.

The staff was very friendly and polite, but otherwise this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I will definitely never book this brand again. Carpet in the halls and elevators tearing from the floor, the room was filthy, carpet stained and filthy, bathtub dirty, curtains stained, stains all over the walls, the phone and mirror, crumbs in the desk chair, literally everything I looked at was filthy! The refrigerator did not work, so I couldn’t keep my leftovers from dinner or my drinks cold, the room smelled awful and moldy, and to top it off they deactivated my key the second night of my stay, so when I came in with my hands full, I went all the way up to my room, the key didn’t work for no reason, had to go back to the front desk for them to reactivate it. Not recommended for a stay!

Everything was terrible here. Room smelled of cigarettes, was dirty, sticky.

Upon arival late in the evening, we were given keys to a room that had not been cleaned since the last check out (beds not made, dirty towel on bathroom floor, trash in trash can, etc). When we went back to the front desk, we waited for about 5-7 minutes and were then told there were no more double queen rooms that were clean, which is what we booked, so we were given a king room. The 2nd room was clean but the remote didnt work so we manually had to control the tv with the buttons on the tv itself. After about an hour of watching TV the picture switched to flasing colors. We had to turn the tv off for 20-30 minuites and turn it back on to get the picture to come on again but again, after about an hour, the picture would go out again.

It was a decent stay, but the online pics made it look WAY nicer than it really was. No carts for luggage, elevator broken, hairs in the bedsheets, wifi was extremely slow and weak. The lady at front desk was not very friendly and they charged me a $50 deposit that I knew nothing about until I got there. I would be generous to rate this place a 2.5 out of 5 stars. Although I did like the bigger screen TVs, and the mega discount I got due to rewards on Hotels.com made the cost of the room next to nothing!

Hotel was a bit run down and noise from parking lot and hallways made sleeping difficult despite the comfortable bed!

Staff was not informative, housekeeping was only available on certain days and there was no tv channel guide.

The carpet in hallways and elevator were dirty. The air conditioner on our room made a dripping noise all night long.

Stayed for a night, room was clean. Bed was comfy. The tv could use an update, it was very little channels but the picture quality was fuzzy.

Hotel has not been renovated in some time…

Check in was easy and quick. Bathroom clean and good water pressure. Bed was clean and comfortable. Some things travelers may want to know: limited tv channels, air conditioning wasnt super efficient but we were comfortable, no hair dryer, very limited breakfast options. Overall we were comfortable and happy since we were just road tripping.

Friendly staff, clean, but does need some updates furnishings old worn out so doesn’t give good appearance.

The hotel was well kept up and clean. However, the hallways reeked of tobacco during a night of my stay, every night, I had to get the key reset and housekeeping didn’t even change the bedspread or towels the second night. Not mention the ice maker on the second floor did not work, the hotel staff was rude and a lot of undesirables hang around the area. The surrounding area is terrible as well and this is not an ideal vacation hotel. The only good thing was the cleanliness. Everything else, terrible.

If I could give this place negative stars I would.....I arrived at 3:30pm and was given a room, when I went to the room, it was completely unmade...no sheets on the beds, no towels, NOTHING. Back down stairs to get a different room, and then up to the second room, which was fine. I needed to call the front desk (about 4pm) and picked up the phone, which was completely disconnected from the wall and there was no phone cord insight. So back down to the front desk with the phone. The FD staff called Housekeeping and I was told that a phone would be brought up. 1 hour later when I had to leave for an appointment, no phone had arrived. When I returned at 10pm still no phone. The smoke detector in the room was not attached...there were just wires in a hole in the wall. The elevator had trash on the floor and the operations panel was in disrepair. I had to ask for milk at breakfast, and when the staff came out to restock, she was on her phone have a very loud conversation. When I checked out I asked to speak with the manager and was told that she would be in at 10...I said "no problem, I'll call her at 10:15", when I did , I was told she would be in at 11.. So at 11:15 I called back and was immediately put on hold for 17 minutes...when finally the front desk person answered and told me she was busy dealing with an issue and would call me back. I am currently waiting for a call back. The customer service at this place is awful.

Dirty rooms , short staffed, individually owned hotel so it does not have to meet up to the standards or expectations of Wyndham hotels, à manger at the front desk informed me. Poor customer service . There was Issues with hotel phones being out of order at property so staff could not respond to customer need for shuttle service pick up from the airport I waited at tge airport for over an hour hotel I was offered a ride from another hotel shuttle service to the property . I left numerous message via email and no one from hotel responded . There is no security at the door so strangers walked in from off the street. The hotel didn’t honor water bottles being provided in room per night which was stated in amenities for my room reservation . I was offered tap water from the lobby. Short staffing, my room I requested wasn’t ready when I arrived. The first room I was given had a bad odor and second room moved to wasn’t cleaned properly. The hotel amenities are not in good conditions and door to my hotel room never closed properly and elevator wasn’t working properly. Jumping motion after arriving to and from floors. Horrible experience and never again.

Place is dirty. Half of staffs are rude. I stayed at the room on 4th floor without room number tag and I had to go to the front desk for a new door keys every time when I got back to my room. The front desk said it is a normal. She said stayed there for three nights then needs to reset the key cards 3 times. The best part of this place is a coffee in the morning.

The elvator was down for 2 out of 3 nights my wife and I stayed at this hotel. My wife just recently had surgery on her ankle and we were on the 4th floor. Also, there were no signs posted about the outage so you didn't know until you got to the elevator. I had to go down to the front desk multiple times because our key cards would not open our room. Housekeeping never came once to our room and I had to personally ask for towels.

Everything was great. The front desk was friendly. Y'all be ready for the $50 deposit though. Ty guys

The stay was horrible. When we first got there, they didnt know what rooms was available or not. Finally gave us the room, then turned around and tried to give someone else the same room. When we walked in the room, it was extremely hot. The bathroom wasnt fully clean. The beds were not comfortable. The breakfast was terrible. They had expired muffins, and a gallon of milk for people to use that too was expired. Then it took 30 minutes for someone to come to the front counter to check out. I will never go to this hotel ever again!

I just want to say for a hotel that is going through an upgrade and everyone working there had to go well out of their way to help with different services that were non-functioning(keys that do not work, consistently, elevators, etc.) The service was outstanding. Erika at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel at home I also cannot go without recognizing John Wells with the shuttle service. Not only was he efficient and helpful, but he was also kind and accommodating.

Car broken into

Though it’s not a 10star hotel I found my stay very satisfactory. The staff was always friendly, pleasant and helpful. The lobby, halls as well as the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. There was local transportation very near which made it very easy and convenient to get back and forth to my meetings. I would stay there again.

My car window was broken. No security. Vandalism threat to stay here.

Hotel was average but ok , the problem was not safe as 6 cars were broken in so we checked and booked another hotel.

The location is closed to downtown.

For the price, the location can not be beat. The hotel is older, but the housekeeping staff does a great job.

The pictures that we saw on the website originally are NOT FROM THE PROPERTY. It was vastly old and can tell. Has a bad smell in the hallway. Needs to be updated in all aspects, everything seemed dirty and looked dirty. You have to pay additional fees just to check in. The location is no ideal as it’s one of the heaviest traffic areas in the city. If we had to stay here for more than 10 hours we would have went somewhere else.

It is an old worn out hotel. In an area that is rather high crime. But the bed was pretty new, and it has fresh paint on it. Just do not expect too much out of it.

I like that the property was close to a race I was doing the following morning and that it was quiet.

Convenient to Airport

The pictures are deceiving!! No bar, no restaurant. The breakfast was a joke. Only waffles and cereal. Juice machine was broken only had one gallon of milk and OJ. Once it was gone, it was gone. The room was nice, ill give them that and they did give us a ride to the airport in the morning. But never again will i stay here.

This property is in urgent need of renovation. The airport shuttle was one hour late in pickup. The desk person could not tell me the local TV channel number (and there was no list in the room), breakfast was very limited and uninviting. The air-conditioner made noise all night. I would not recommend staying there.

It's an OK place. Not in a great area. Rooms were good. Breakfast that was included was not good. Service is OK. But I guess you can't expect much at this dollar value anymore.

The bed way too small to share and sleep comfortably. The breakfast was not great, burned eggs, no juice (waited after asking for 20 minutes). Just not good at all.

Elevator was spooky. Lamps did not work on either side of bed. Vent missing in bathroom, creepy. Breakfast sucked. No bar as listed.

I changed my booking from Travelocity to Hotels.com . Adding a Restaurant and a Bar for Conviance + full Breakfast. Apon arriving l asked where is the restaurant? The reply I got was Chilli's down the street ? Where is the bar ? Chilli's down the street.The full Breakfast was full to go breakfast,or Continental ! Wow😲 I got taken. I'm done with that dump, done with Hotels.Com and done with North Carolina !!!
