Le positif : Hôtel bien situé intra muros proche de la porte et du parking St Vincent, très bon accueil, ascenseur, chambre et sanitaires propres. Le négatif : pas de bouteille d'eau annoncée sur le site de l'hôtel, pas de bouilloire avec café ou thé à disposition. Egalement et très inconfortable : pas de brosse pour la cuvette des WC !!! Ceci n'est pas respectueux pour les personnes occupant la chambre et pour le personnel d'entretien, pas digne d'un 3 étoiles..

👍 L'hôtel est bien situé, proche des parkings, des restaurants, des accès aux remparts ainsi que de la plage du Sillon. 👍 notre chambre était au 2ème étage, claire et propre, accessible par ascenseur et avec une bonne literie ; elle avait une grande salle de douche, lavabo et WC (séparés par un muret). 👍 la cafeteria Univers de l'hôtel propose une formule petit déjeuner continental servi par une jeune femme souriante et efficace malgré une grande terrasse bien remplie... (nous avons préféré ce lieu a la salle des p.déjeuners de l'hôtel, triste et sans fenêtre) 👎 pour le confort et le bien être des hôtes, le respect de la seconde personne occupant la chambre ainsi que du personnel d'entretien : un inconvénient regrettable à résoudre par la direction de l'hôtel > laisser un balai WC dans les toilettes !

The hotel had everything we needed, great bar, good breakfast and comfortable clean rooms. The service from all staff is always excellent.

Great location, in the old town right next to bars, cafes, and the beach. Only issue is parking, which is extremely difficult to find, due to a myriad of one way streets, blocked streets, etc

Perfect hotel, close to main gate with close proximity to restaurants, shopping and beaches. We had the room for 4 which was perfect for a family of 4. Plenty of sleeping space and bathroom was quite large. Great restaurant right in lobby which we were easily able to grab food/drink from. Highly recommend!

Good well located hotel with fantastic bar

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas a la hauteur de l'hôtel et du personne. Dommage, vraiment dommage. Pas oeufs brouillés, le bécon couleur gris .... Sinon un personnel très gentil. Et l'accueil extra.

Public parking just outside the walls ( can be busy ) Excellent location for meeting with friends . Very helpful bar staff . Early breakfast available as needed to get ferry back to UK .

La chambre était spacieuse, propre, et bien équipée. Une très belle vue sur les remparts. Le personnel est très accueillant et professionnel. L’hôtel est très bien situé, proche de l’entrée de la ville intra-muros, de la plage, et des restaurants et petits commerces.

Room 107 spacious for a family of 4. Clean room and bathroom. 2 of the 3 beds were comfortable with mattress toppers but the main bed didn’t have mattress toppers like the other ones had, so was not comfortable. Too many smokers right outside hotel at their restaurant, and smoke went right into the lobby as the doors opened. I could smell smoke in the lobby, hallway, and stairs. You had to walk through the smoke in front of the front door to enter into the front door. Not healthy for air quality given the tobacco use out front. No mini fridge to keep leftover perishable food (or baby food if needed), no electric kettle, and no coffee maker in rooms which is pretty standard now. No water purification refilling station in lobby to cut down plastic water bottles for the environment. I think the hotel could improve by making 4 changes if they wished to improve it for customers. 1. Make a big non-smoking area in the front of the hotel restaurant, and put a limited smoking section far off to the side (nowhere close to where guests have to walk by to get into the hotel). Or better, would be to not allow any smoking at the restaurant outside. 2. add mini fridges, electric kettles, and coffee makers to the rooms. 3. Add water purification bottle refilling station downstairs in lobby. 4. Add free coffee and tea in lobby.

Smoke goes right in the front door with all the smokers in the restaurant out front. Could smell smoke linger in the halls and stairs. Uncomfortable beds made for a bad stay for me. Great location though.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, good shower and friendly staff. Good French breakfast plenty of choice

La propreté et le calme

Positives - central location, friendly check-in service. Negatives - we had issue with neighbors smoking the whole night which with a draft coming through our door, filled our room with smoke smell. Keeping our window open the whole night did not really help. So overall we had quite a bad nights sleep which impacts the whole experience. Reception was quick to try help but the smell was still there unfortunately. Bathroom also smelled a bit (drain smell) so we kept the door closed. Basic and small room with no amenities like kettle, coffee or fridge. But otherwise it was ok, relatively modern and very central location (no parking though)

For £160, I expected better facilities. My room was extremely hot, and I couldn’t sleep properly. It seems the high price is mainly due to the location, not the quality of the stay.

The hotel room was great for the price and the lady on reception was very friendly. However the only downside is the walls are paper thin and you hear everything - I had to lie and listen to a couple making out in the room next door. I was in room 215 so maybe ask for another room as this was the only downside

bien mais pas climatisation la place est bruyante le matin avec les livreurs normal intra muros .petite marche plus basse que le palier pour rentrée dans la chambre et petite marche plus haute pour accéder salle de bain sa surprend .petit déjeuner top

This is the 2nd time we’ve chosen to stay in this hotel, this time our bedroom and the bathroom were much bigger and very comfortable. Overlooking the inner courtyard meant it was very quiet. The location couldn’t be better, a minute walk from the sea wall and beach in one direction and shops, restaurants etc in the other. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We had our dog with us and she was made just as welcome. We’ll certainly stay there again but avoid August as, with the French on holiday, St Malo was extremely busy, we’d prefer a quieter time!

Très bien situé, propre et classe. Par contre j'ai trouvé l'équipement de la chambre très léger. Il n'y a pas de bouilloire, de thé, café, pas de mini frigo, pas de bouteille d'eau. Je trouve que c'est un minimum pour ce genre d'hôtel. Sachant qu'on les a souvent dans des hôtels plus cheap.

The property its self is fine, it’s the noise below it and down the street from all the restaurant/bars they stayed open late. Could also hear everyone in the hall.

What a terrible experience. At first we were in awe of the location and thought we had struck gold with this hotel. When we got into our room the nightmare began. No aircon, no fans, no fridge, no coffee facilities etc etc. a complete empty basic room. There are more facilities in a Travelodge or Etab. At night time it got even worse. Our room was directly above the outside bar / entertainment area which is fine. I have no problem people having fun and enjoying the entertainment. But this racket went on to 3am both nights. We had to close the windows which made the room unbearably hot. It was a lose lose situation. My family (wife and kids age 14 and 10) did not sleep for 2 nights. This hotel believes its prime location allows it to treat its guests with contempt. There are plenty of other hotels with great locations in St Malo. In fact it would be hard to find one not in a great location. Avoid this hotel!!! I mean how hard would it be to put a couple of fans in a hot, humid room???

Hôtel emplacement fantastique vieille ville. Chambre petite 10m2 un peu ancienne sans climatisation. Un peu bruyant côté place. Restaurants et magasins à quelques mn à pieds. Attention pas de parking se garer en dehors des remparts

Room was fine, breakfast was expensive, staff forced me to pay for another room (because we had 4 guests total) despite the fact I reserved the 4 bed room online. The floors and walls are paper thin, so I learned the entire life story of the people staying above us. We asked the front desk for some tissues, because there weren’t any in the room. The lady told us that since they were only a 3 star hotel, they didn’t have any. I was unaware that tissues are only available in 4 star hotels Also parking is a nightmare, the front door was broken so I had to enter and leave the hotel through the bar (with stairs) with my son’s stroller. Everything else was amazing.

Fifth time at this hotel over the years. It’s been spruced up but still has an air of age, still very much NOT an American transplant. The staff is very accommodating. I love this joint!

I come here about 10 times a year staff are friendly and so helpful. Reception staff are are so helpful and friendly as well rooms are what you see in pictures this place is my relaxing and chilling out time that I could not do in jersey there is so much in the walls and food is amazing Darren from jersey.

The property isn’t safe. Every bathroom has a freestanding ceramic pedestal weighing 13.5kg. Our seven year old slipped and fell and the pedestal fell and smashed into sharp fragments. My daughter escaped with bruising and shock. It could have been a mot worse. The hotel shrugged. Apparently it wasn’t a risk as it heladn’t happened before. And she couldn’t have been that injured as we didn’t rush her to A&E. We asked Expedia to intervene and to their credit they did.

Great location , surrounded by restaurants and bakery’s . Beautiful scenery and lovely beach and walks on wall. Can be a little noisy outside but we did stay on a Friday night !

Perfect location and the hotel is clean, staff nice and parking within walking distance. My only issue is that our room was directly over a nightclub. Actually i wasn't bothered and found it funny but I'm sure there may be those that would be annoyed. Just ask for a room not over the nightclub and you will have a wonderful time in Saint Malo.

Right in the heart of shops bars the hotel so amazing cocktails and planche for 2 people to share.
